“The lodge was in immaculate condition, clean, tidy and super welcoming.”

Diane has gone the extra mile of having a fully equipped home with items that you don't normally find in rentals (coffee, tea, shampoo, all kinds of cleaning products, even food items). The towels were especially soft and fluffy and the ice making machine was a very appreciated perk. We were very impressed by the decor and the welcoming areas which are so beautifully arranged and well-kept. Diane was there waiting for us and walked us through the lodge explaining everything we needed to know. The view was amazing and everything worked as expected. We highly recommend visiting this lodge!

“Beautiful Lodge!”

So roomy and homely, Even tho we always come prepared everything you needed was available! Shampoo, washing stuff, cleaning stuff, hoover, iron, hair dryer.. everything really! We really enjoyed are stay, even though December is really wet the lodge was nice enough to not be going out anyway! Absolutely lovely place, specially the super king-size bed haha. Our little lad lovef all the space to be exploring and the dog was free to go out onto the decking with out being able to run away.

“The Lodge was extremely spacious and well kitted out with modern furniture and a television in each room.”

It was beautifully clean and we were met by a very helpful owner who pointed out where all the local facilities were to be found. Everything we needed was in the Lodge. It's raised position looked out to the sea over the tops of the caravans below. We would certainly like to go back again.

Good explanation of appliances etc. Beautiful, clean, spacy and very cosy lodge. Fantastic views over to Rothesay. In a good area for transport, ferry and railway to Glasgow at entrance and we noticed regular coast buses. If we are in the area we will book again, we were impressed, a real home from home.

“This is a stunning lodge , everything was perfect .”

The owner has provided everything for the visitors to enjoy ,it was very nicely dressed , and the beds are so very comfortable ,we cannot fault it . We have stayed in many self catering places and this place beats them all , and to top it off such an amazing view, and we were very fortunate with the weather so able to sit outside in the sunshine.. I can't recommend this place enough !!!! I'd give ten stars if I could **********

“Fabulous property, even better than expected!”

Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely views over the Clyde and Bute. Very robust during a bad storm! Handy for rail into Glasgow and ferry to Bute (the day rover with WCM buses on Bute is very good value). It was nice to have several car-free days. As well as Glasgow city and museums/galleries and Bute, we would recommend Kelburn Country Park, Conic Hill near Loch Lomond and for plenty of places to eat - Largs.

“Excellent lodge has everything you need and more.”

A proper home from home Washing machines dishwasher ice machine air fryer massive tv In Lounge and tv in each bedroom. Super king bed and proper single beds in other bedroom. Walk in wardrobes in each bedroom such as bonus. And pet friendly well situated near main pavilion but not too close the views from the decking are amazing 5 stars plus all the way looking to come back again possibly later this year if not 2 weeks next year. What a beautiful lodge and Diane the owner was amazing. Especially the meet and greet on arrival and departure. Thanks for the use of your lodge.

“We have just had a wonderful 5 night stay in this gorgeous lodge.”

Diane and Campbell have furnished it to the highest standard and it has everything and more you could possibly need. Super comfy huge bed in the master bedroom and proper sized single beds in the second were fabulous. The view from the balcony was second to none and we really enjoyed watching the cruise ships and the local steamer The Waverley sailing past. “We had a wonderful holiday at No.”

42. The lodge was really comfortable and had absolutely everything required to enjoy a self catering break. The super king size bed was SUPER comfy in the master bedroom. Diane and Campbell had thought of everything and had decorated the accommodation to a very high standard indeed. It truly exceeded our expectations. It even had a large capacity air fryer and a counter top ice making machine, which was fantastic (I’ve actually bought one (ice maker) for myself and one for my daughter on my return). Views were brilliant from the decking area. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely lodge.

“5 star, the best equipped self catering property that we have ever stayed at.”

Every mod con possible we have just bought ourselves an ice maker following our visit. Very large comfortable bed and its nice to have a large tv for evening viewing when we were not sat on the decking admiring the fantastic view with passing ships. Cannot really comment on the caravan site as we didn't use any of the facilities and purely booked for the exceptional lodge.

A quiet, picturesque coastal village, in the county of Inverclyde in Scotland, situated on the fringes of the beautiful Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park which boasts wonderful nature trails and stunning waterfalls. Wemyss bay is a delightfully quaint village in a wonderful location. The area has been a popular tourist destination since the nineteenth century due to its rail connections to the City of Glasgow, as well as the ferry routes to Rothesay and the Isle of Bute which still run today. In terms of amenities, you will find a small selection of shops, including award winning butcher McAskies with its attached bistro and deli. For a wider range of shops and restaurants, head to the seaside town of Largs just six miles south of Wemyss Bay and enjoy a sundae at the world famous Nardini’s Ice Cream Parlour. The town of Greenock is just seven miles north, offering the Oak Mall Shopping Centre, a stunning waterfront and various amusement arcades.
