Olivia's Haven

The owner met us at the property and gave us a guided tour, explaining about everything that was available to us.

There was a really homely feel about the place, which made it a pleasure to come back to at night.

Everything was stunning - especially the views out over the park towards the estuary and beyond. It is just as shown on the Sykes website but the effect is so much better when standing or sitting in the property' The owner, John, could not have been more helpful when we arrived. Full marks all round - a superb property and a great host! a

A perfect relaxing lodge to stay.

Fantastic views and takeaway meals on site enjoyable. The one down side is the mattress in the master bedroom was not at all comfortable. We stay in lodges all over England, Scotland and Wales more than once a year and the comfort of the beds have never been a problem. The material had no thickness to it so we slept virtually on the springs.

Our second stay at Olivia’s Haven was just as lovely as the first.

The lodge is cosy, well equipped, and has beautiful views across the Clyde. We visited at the end of March, so it was peaceful and relaxing. We experienced all kinds of weather—rain, wind, hail, sleet, and even snow—but also enjoyed some warm, sunny moments sitting out on the verandah with a glass of wine. We saw plenty of wildlife, including roe deer, birds, and even naval ships and a submarine passing by. This time we took the ferry from Largs to the Isle of Cumbrae and walked to Millport, enjoying some great cafés and a visit to a local distillery. A fantastic stay once again—we’d happily return!

Elaine and John are lovely hosts, very accommodating with personal requests.

Fabulous lodge had everything you would need with lots of extras will definitely book again just one small gripe the mattress on the bed in the en suite room needs replaced you can feel all the springs sticking through.

Great welcome and lovely place to stay.

Easy to get the train to Glasgow and the people are lovely and friendly, we had a fantastic family stay and would book again. Lovely view of the sea everyday.

I loved my time at Olivia's haven.

The whole feel of the place was warm and welcoming. Stunning views across the water on a clear day. Olivias haven was very clean and comfortable, ample space to relax in which made it feel like home. I would highly recommend a visit here.

Olivia's haven is one of the best lodges I have stayed in.

It's spacious, very clean and the owner has added her own homely touches to it, including some helpful bits and pieces for arrival and to see you through the week. The beds are full size with plenty of bedding including extra blankets just incase. There view is a good as it looks on the pictures and is quite relaxing. I will be recommending this Lodge to anyone looking for one.

Fantastic place.

You really had thought of everything and it was so so so lovely that everything was included. So appreciated the hot chocolate and the cakes. Loved that all the laundry and dishwasher stuff was provided. It was clean and tidy and the site was quiet and peaceful. There was parking right next door. Tonnes of stuff for the dog: bowls and treats and blankets for the sofa. Probably the best equipped place I have ever been!! Loved how you also took the time to show me around. definitely recommend d.

Superb accommodation and excellent location for getting around sightseeing.

Owners lovely and friendly. Could not fault the facilities within the accommodation the owners provided everything required to live for the whole week in comfort and thought of the necessities fir a nice cuppa and tea cake on arrival after a 12 hour drive. My wee dog was safe and secure and loved the surrounding walks. Have already booked again. Was easy accessible for my elderly dad to get around and views spectacular!!

olivias haven is overlooking firth of clyde with beautiful views of isle of bute, it is ideal for sight seeing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Olivia's Haven.

The lodging has everything you need and more including decent WiFi which is rare on a caravan park. Views are amazing and not too far from shops etc. Plenty of room for everyone and dog friendly which is amazing. Hosts were friendly and on site to greet us to be sure we had what we needed. The park itself is decent enough with a shop (pricey) and food and entertainment facilities but we never used them. Would stay again for the comfort, space and views alone. Thanks for a great stay.

Olivia's Haven was a lovely lodge facing the sea and local Islands, on our stay, it was sunny throughout, so views were spectacular.

On arrival, the owner met us and carefully went through the many facilities with us to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. It was nice to have a friendly face to guide through these and the local area too. The lodge was very comfortable and clean which made our stay perfect. As the weather was so good we sat outside some of the time but during our visit the patio table had been damaged in a storm and was awaiting renewal, it wasn't a worry as we could leave the patio door open to eat at the large table in the sunny dining area. We will return.

We had a lovely weekend and the lodge was very comfortable (especially the beds).

Owner was great and met us at the property and demonstrated how everything worked. The weather was lovely and we had selected the lodge as my mum has limited mobility and view was beautiful. We were disappointed that we couldn't sit out on the decking and enjoy the view as table had been damaged during storm Eowyn and was shattered and on grass outside and chairs were rusty. Owner did say they were planning to replace it imminently but it was just a shame it hadn't been done prior to our visit.

We were welcomed by Elaine who showed us around and how everything worked. The place was beautifully clean and comfortable with spupplies of washing up and cleaning things we may need. The veiws were wonderful and the weather sunny we were so lucky.

Super chalet with lovely views!

Everything was as described on the website and I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay here. The owner Elayne met me when I arrived and showed me around. The kitchen was very well equipped, the chalet was warm and the showers were hot. Plenty of places to visit in the area, with lots of beaches for dog walks, from Ardrossan, Largs, Gourock, and ferries to Great Cumbrae, Dunoon, and Bute. I highly recommend a stay here.

Our stay at Olivia’s Haven was fantastic!

The lodge was beautifully maintained—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The views were breathtaking, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the stunning surroundings. We enjoyed plenty of scenic walks, visited the nearby islands, and were lucky to spot a variety of wildlife, including squirrels, deer, and sheep. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming, adding to our wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

John & Elayne are perfect hosts, Olivia's Haven is such a beautiful lodge with stunning views.

The owners had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Although we stayed out of season, there was still lots to do in the area. We would definitely recommend Olivia's Haven and would love to return again.

Relaxing stay with stunning scenery.

Really handy for visiting Arran, Bute, Dunoon, Kilcreggan, Glasgow etc. Owners had thought of everything that makes a stay easy and they were really friendly. Lodge was comfortable. Waking up and seeing that gorgeous view out over the water to Bute and Toward Lighthouse was fabulous. We even saw two deer on the site. Overall, it was just lovely.

The friendly owners contacted us before our stay to explain what we could expect from the lodge facilities and to give us travel guidance.

Once at the lodge, the owner was there to great us and, happily, showed us around, answering any questions we had. The lodge itself has a commanding view of the Clyde, Bute and Arran beyond. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you.
