Fantastic accommodation!

Exactly what I was looking for. Located in a really peaceful spot on a pretty lake with lots of wildlife.

Accommodation clean and comfortable

Cuckoo Lodge is a very nice little Lodge for two people and a dog.

On initial first time of walking into the lodge I was very impressed it is modern & comfortable, but the only problem was that the sofa was completely covered in dog hair, so me & my husband didn't feel comfortable with that aspect a lovely sofa set was very comfortable to use but we just never used because of that, so when we went shopping had to buy a blanket to throw over the one seater sofa & just used that one. I suggest that for future bookings the owner gets that dealt with and makes it a strict rule "NO DOGS ON SOFA" would of given 5 stars if not for this But all in very secluded, peaceful area, great for dogs. Would also like to state that directions to property doesn't take you exactly to lodge location, near enough, but kind of off the beaten track. It should state that it is RIVERSIDE LEISURE PARK, there is a sign but it really wasn't standing out properly. One more thing a mop & bucket would be a nice touch to clean up liquid spillages.

Absolutely perfect.

The lodge was warm and comfortable, and very clean. The shower was spacious and powerful and there was plenty of hot water. The location is also idyllic, with well kept grounds and a lake. It was very peaceful, away from the crowds, yet with good phone signals and WiFi if you needed it. I would certainly stay here again.

Could have instructions on how to work the cooker,and put a sign up to mind your head on the cooker hood as my husband banged his head on the corner of it as it sticks out further than the cupboards ,also no door on the bedroom and no mirror in the bathroom there wasn't a separate bin for food it all went in 1 bin,the place itself was great the scenery the quietness of the place absolutely beautiful we would definitely stay there again if they just do them few things.

and it was great I could take my dog.also there was dust on the cabinet in lounge and cobwebs on lamp shades in lounge .there was a lovely touch with the champagne and cans in the fridge and a pint of milk which was a really nice touch.

We had the most relaxing week! The site is very well looked after. The cabin was clean had everything we needed. The sofa and bed is very comfortable! Don't know how this place doesn't have more reviews because I couldn't fault it. Dog friendly so the only thing I would say - just would of liked a hoover or mop especially with having the dog with us I do like to make sure we clean up before we leave. Very nice place and we would definitely come back, Thank you for a lovely stay.

No information in the Lodge at all .

Owner passed the Lodge everyday would have been nice if he stopped and asked if everything was OK.

A great place to sit and relax.

The lodge was very clean and spacious. Highly recommended

Cabin was lovely, sofas mega comfortable, bed very comfortable.

Shower lovely and big . Fishing lake very well kept . Extremely quiet location. Just missing Hoover and mop and ideally washing machine on site.
