    “Our stay was perfect, beautiful views" This really is a stunning property!”

    Everything has been thought of a true home from home. We had such a relaxing time, the living room is an amazing sun trap, there are stunning river views, lovely outside sitting areas both front and back, the bed was super comfy with amazing views to wake up too! the sunken bath on the decking was bliss all 5 stars! We would highly recommend Larch House and look forward to returning again very soon! Wendy, Dean and Frank the Dog

Even before you cross the threshold, the atmosphere draws you in: The Larch House shares a sandy beach area and a sparkling two-metre deep freshwater plunge pool with its neighbour, inviting you to paddle, swim, or simply watch sunlight shimmer on the water’s surface.

The gentle sounds of laughter and splashing set the mood for leisurely days outdoors. Inside, the single-storey design flows effortlessly from one welcoming space to the next.

The open-plan living area is bright and airy, featuring white countertops, sleek black fixtures, and a breakfast bar with plush stools—perfect for a quick snack or a relaxed chat before heading out.

The sitting area is a harmonious spot to unwind, with a TV for cosy evenings and large windows framing calming countryside and river views.

This room also has a fold out futon for flexible sleeping options. The sleeping quarters offer three beautifully appointed bedrooms: a king-size room with a stylish en-suite shower room; a double room with a plush ottoman bed and doors opening to the fresh air; and a triple bunk room, ideal for children or extra guests.

Chester 10 miles; Llangollen 19 miles.

The village of Farndon nestles quietly near the River Dee, approximately 7 miles south of Chester. The village was an important place historically and has been a site of conflict and cultural exchange since the Angles settled in the area in the 8th century. The border moved numerous times during the following centuries, placing Farndon alternately in Wales and England.
