Before you even step inside, the experience begins: to the front, a sandy beach area and a two-metre deep freshwater plunge pool with a shallow end invite you to dip your toes, cross the log walk, or take the plunge from the diving board.

Entering discover a single-storey layout that flows effortlessly from one inviting space to the next.
The open-plan living area is the heart of the home, where rustic and charming wooden countertops, smart black fixtures, and picture windows at the sink frame tranquil river views.

The dining area, with its mounted TV and speaker, is perfect for sharing stories and laughter over memorable meals.

There is also a fold out futon for flexible sleeping options.

Two bedrooms offer restful sanctuaries: the king-size room, with patio doors opening directly to the garden, promises peaceful mornings and gentle breezes.
The second bedroom is a double.
Both rooms share a stunning en-suite shower room, where wooden fixtures, a skylight, and a double basin create a spa-like retreat.

The cabin was very good quality and sat right on the side of the river Dee.
It was so good to sit on the varanda with the river running right past. There is everything you need, including a gas barbacue, and fishing rods. The overall site is beautiful ,watching the hares and squirrels, and if you are looking for a remote getaway this is your place. The village is approx 1 mile away with plenty of eating places. The only downside was the unadopted lane which had lots of large ruts, apparently due to a nearby propertys development having recent lorry deliveries.
Booked as a surprise for my family, comprising two adults, two teenage girls and a well-behaved dog.
Was promised another bed as there was only a king-size and double bed in the property. The location was amazing, as was the description on the website, hence the booking. On arrival, there was no other bed as promised. After looking, we found a futon but no spare bedding. My partner messaged the owner, so my youngest slept on the sofa using the two throws. The owner arrived the next day with new bedding. The property was not as clean as it should have been for guests. They have a great shower and a Bluetooth mirror, but you need to walk through the master bedroom to use it, which was not ideal during the night. The kitchen was very impressively decorated and modern, but it would have been handy to have a tin opener. We ended up having to buy one, as we had already been in touch with the owner about another matter. The outside space at the property was brilliant, with spectacular views of the sunsets and lovely mornings having coffee outside on the high stools while looking at the rabbits, squirrels and kingfisher. There was enough space for us all to enjoy without being on top of each other. The outdoor bath was a real treat!
Location is amazing - really peaceful.
Facilities were good but the house would benefit from a deep clean inside and outside. Lots of cobwebs everywhere! The BBQ was not clean enough to use. It feels like everything has had a “surface clean” but it needs more. This would really elevate it back to where it needs to be. A couple of small points - 1 towel per person for a weeks isn’t enough and one partly used toilet till definitely isn’t!
