Ewe Two

Yet again another amazing stay.

This was our 2nd visit for a mini honeymoon. The accommodation was immaculate, owners are so helpful and even had a little gift with congratulations card as remembered us! The location is perfect as isolated and peaceful. I would highly recommend, and for anybody unsure about a log fired hot tub with no bubbles, honestly they are great!

Peaceful and relaxing break, the pod was cosy and spotless with stunning views of North Wales.

Carol the host was lovely and made me feel very welcome during my stay. Perfect countryside escape, will definitely return!

My partner and I stayed at Ewe Two for a long weekend to celebrate her birthday and we'll definitely be staying again!

The property was really easy to find with clear directions given and there's private parking right next to the pods. Carol gave us a warm welcome, showed us around and explained how everything worked. When we first arrived there was no water to the property due to a burst water main nearby, however there was plenty of bottled water left for us and the water came back on the following morning so had very little impact on our stay. Despite it being completely out of her control, Carol was very apologetic and made sure we were looked after during the outage. The pod itself was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with a comfortable bed and beautifully maintained outside space. The location is very private and peaceful, surrounded by farm land and great views. The hot tub is amazing after a day out and is really easy to use. Ewe Two is the perfect getaway and we'd recommend it to absolutely anyone. Thank you so much Carol, we cant wait to come back again! -Sam & Lucy x

This is the third time we have visited Ewe two and had another fabulous and relaxing stay.

The pod was spotless, weather was fabulous and being surrounded by fields gave us the perfect get away. We will be back soon, thank you Carol

Fantastic pod , immaculate & well equipped

We were warmly welcomed to this good sized and well equipped pod, which gave a feel simultaneously of seclusion (being one of only two pods on the site) and being open to an expansive view (over fields to the River Dee and the Wirral beyond, a rural spot set back from the urban and industrial centres in the distance).

Watching sunsets from the wood-fired hot tub, despite the electricity lines and pylons that march across the view, gave the relaxing ‘breath of fresh air’ we’d been seeking from our break. It proved a good base for a variety of experiences: hill walking, beach, canal and towns. We would definitely recommend Ewe Two to others, and may well be back again in the future.

Carol was absolutely lovely and welcomed us on arrival.

The accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable. The hot tub was, well just amazing. This was mine and my fiancé first trip just us with no kids, and such a great experience that as soon as we got home we booked for next year to come back as our honeymoon weekend. Couldn't think of anywhere better to go. Excited to return next year as Mr and Mrs x

We recently stayed in the Ewe Two pod and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.

The directions provided were clear and easy to follow, making the arrival stress-free. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Carol, our lovely and friendly host, who gave us a fantastic introduction to the area and a helpful walkthrough of the pod’s features, including how to operate and heat the hot tub. The pod itself was spotless and the whole area very well maintained, including the beautifully kept lawn areas. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the additional resources available in the nearby outbuilding were a thoughtful touch. The cooking facilities were excellent, and we especially appreciated how quiet the fridge was as it didn’t disturb our sleep at all. Speaking of sleep, the bed was so comfortable that we had the best night’s sleep that we’ve had in ages during our stay. The hot tub was clean, inviting, and the perfect place to unwind. We also loved how private everything felt. Plus, with local amenities conveniently nearby, it was the ideal mix of peaceful retreat and accessibility. We really enjoyed our stay and were able to completely relax and unwind. We would highly recommend a stay here and would love to return!

we couldn’t fault a thing! the explanation of everything was in depth and we had full understanding of the property and hot tub, once warm the hot tub is incredible, the owners are there to help you with anything at any time. delicious chinese food down the road as well as close access to all shops overall would recommend to anyone who wants a break away as this was totally perfect.

A beautiful lodge with some great views.

Very clean and cosy as well. The bed was a bit small for the two of us but it may just be because we are used to bigger queen size beds. Carol was very helpful and was there to answer all questions.

Amazing stay, cost quite perfect for a couples getaway.

Very clean, fresh smelling sheets no stains or smells anywhere. 4/5 purely because hot tub was a little disappointing, did not seem to get properly hot regardless how long a charcoal fire was ran however that could my fault not the tubs. Would recommend 100%

The pod was very nice and had everything we needed.

The bed was super comfortable! We enjoyed four days here and loved chilling in the hot tub. The surrounding area was so peaceful and the shops were only a few minutes away in the car. Carol was a lovely host and explained everything we needed to know upon arrival. Overall it was a lovely get away and we would love to visit again! Will highly recommend to everyone!

Amazing 2 night stay, for our wedding anniversary.

Carol was very helpful., lovely lady. The accommodation is lovely, very relaxing, lovely and clean with everything you need. From brewing facilities to cooking facilities, fridge, wifi, TV ect. Bed very comfortable. The descriptionn of the accommodation was accurate. Good location, lovely views. Very private and peaceful. If you want to escape, I would recommend a stay here. We will return. The hot tub is amazing and the wood is available on arrival, if staying longer than the 1 night stay, you can pick hard wood to burn to heat up the hot tub from Aldi down the road. Pop the wood into the burner 2hrs later in you get. Shops, supermarkets, cafe, pubs all local. We visited Chester while there, short drive never been but a beautiful city. Thank you Carol for an amazing 2 night stay.

The best few days we’ve had!

Everything about the pod was lovely and had a home feeling to it! Peaceful and quiet. Carol was a lovely host! We had the best nights sleep that we’ve had in ages. Would visit again, great hidden gem.

Carol was very welcoming.

Showed up round. The shed with storage .and all sorts of extras that we might need was a great idea. The pods were so peaceful and private . If the hedge was a little bit lower we could enjoy the view of the estuary better. But it's a fine line between privacy and views i suppose. The fresh milk and tea and biscuits were welcomed on arrival. From flint you can easily travel to many places. So it's a good position. The bed was comfortable and everything was lovely and clean. We hope to return some time. Thankyou

Great few days at Ewe Two.

Carol had even pre warmed the hot tub for us. All the things you need are at hand. BBQ, reclining chairs, windbreaks. Netflix on the TV,free Wi-Fi. Carol and Peter are very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Would well recommend a stay here. Very peaceful and relaxing.

We were there Friday till Sunday, what an amazing place to relax, Carol the owner was lovely, explained everything to us, when we arrived the hot tub was ready for us, even coffee and milk waiting for us, spotlessly clean as well, I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend

We had a 3 nights stay at Ewe Two,it was so relaxing with beautiful surroundings.

The pod was so cosy and had everything you need (eg.plates,cups,cutlery….) it did mention in the description that there was supposed to be a dishwasher which wasn’t there,but other than that everything was perfect. Local supermarkets are close if you need some groceries. The place is in very quiet place which was really calming. We had an amazing time and our first break after a long 2 years. Would definitely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The host Carol was so welcoming and helpful. There are plenty things around to go and see,unfortunately the weather wasn’t good . We had only 1 beautiful day where we went to Portmeirion village which had amazing views on the way. Other days was just chilling having a BBQ and was enjoying Hot tub.

Ewe Two is truly wonderful, we had such a lovely stay.

The property has fantastic views and the hot tub was amazing. Everything is so thoughtfully accommodated, there was milk in the fridge on arrival, a Smart TV that can be viewed from the hot tub, all the amenities you could need, it really is the perfect pod. Carol is a fabulous host, and even dried our towels that were caught in a sudden storm. There is a detailed booklet that offers suggestions for food, entertainment and local landmarks, great if you're stuck for ideas! It also has easy to follow instructions on how to operate the wood fired tub. I've already recommended Ewe Two to my friends and hope to visit again in the future. We can't fault anything, thank you for a much needed break!

Really enjoyed our stay.

Carol was lovely and heated the hot tub up for us when we arrived late. All the little touches are good quality and really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was Just not enough wood to keep hot tub hot. So would recommend taking some wood with you.

Had a wonderful 2 night break in this delightful pod, which was beautifully clean, cosy and warm, with an extremely comfortable bed. Everything you need for a romantic get away from hectic life. Carol was so lovely and met us in the pouring rain and had even fired up the hot tub for us. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous cabin for a break away, we will certainly be back again. Had a great few days and my only criticism would be the quilt on the bed for me I found it to be bulky and quite heavy but others may like that otherwise got no complaints

Carol was so lovely and no request to much trouble. Arrived with the hot tub stoked and ready for a dip. Only a short journey away from home for us but could of been a million miles away. Cant wait to go back xx

Fabulous stay.

All the information regarding facilities and activities were included in the guest book which was extremely useful. Owner was so friendly and made us feel welcomed from the start, even starting the fire before we got there. Couldn’t recommend more!

The pod was comfortable and well equipped and private with everything you need. The little added touches were lovely. The hot tub was simple to use, but definitely need to purchase extra logs if planning on using more than once. Plenty to do in the area for planned day trips. Would highly recommend Loggerheads Country Park for a good walk. Didn’t want to leave and will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at Ewe Two, it was perfect for the wife and myself, the owner carol met us on arrival and showed us in and explained how things worked like the hot tub which was great, carol gave us recommendations of things to do locally which was very helpful, overall a great stay in a great, quiet location, we will heading back again.

Great few days had at Ewe Two.

Lovely and peaceful, so quiet. The pod is so well thought out with everything you need for a great stay. Chilling under the stars sat in the hot tub with a glass of wine is so relaxing. The hosts, Carol and Peter, are brilliant. There if you need anything but leave you to enjoy your stay. We will definitely be back

Was really disappointed with the hot tub, which turned out to be a hot bath.

The requirement to heat with wood was time consuming and all seemed very inefficient. But despite this, the hot tub was not undercover,as it could only be used in good weather. We both hit our shins on the exposed bed frame. It was also too far away from the parking space, which meant a long walk back a forth with bags etc.

The host was very welcoming and was there to meet us.

She gad pre-lit the wood burning hot tub as the Sykes advisor had assured me that they had checked with the owner and this would be done. I believe there wasn't such a conversation as this isn't the done thing with this type of tub but the host really helped. We stayed for 3 nights but the hot tub was unuseable on the 3rd night as the water was murky and it smelt due to there being no filters. We would've loved there to have been 2 robes to use as this is usually standard in this type of accommodation. The pod is in lovely surroundings, very peaceful and private with good access to many amenities.

Ewe Two was a cosy and unique getaway.

The wood fired hot tub was also a delightful treat! Also, the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Flint is a short walk away with a range of shops and food options. There are also more things to do near by then you can possibly fit into a weekend. One piece of advice for anyone visiting - make sure to take note of the instructions sent to find the place using the postcode shared. I made the mistake of following Google maps to “Ewe Two” and it took me to a gated road. That was my mistake though!

There’s a book in the pod with lots of information about what there is to do around the area with recommendations for activists, restaurants and places to visit which was very informative and helpful. The pod itself was very clean and perfect for our couples holiday. The hot tub was lovely, although we struggled to get it up to temperature (completely our human error and not the fault of the hot tub itself). We had a wonderful time at Ewe Two and will be recommending it to all of our friends. Thank you Carol for a wonderful place to stay!

The pod was very comfortable and clean with a view across to the estuary.

It was well equipped with a decent sized bathroom, and we enjoyed use of the hot tub, decking and grassy garden in the sunshine. A lovely quiet spot surrounded by sheep fields, but within easy reach of many places.

My husband and I have just got back from a 3 night stay at ewe two.

We couldn't fault it. Very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. The owner made us feel so welcome and even text to see If we wanted the hot tub lighting so it was warm for when we got back from our day out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

everything was amazing. We didn’t expect there to be as much stuff as there was, pans, cofffee/teas, and a milk as well. The hot tub is a bit awkward at first to light but the owners came down to help and was so lovely. The views from the decking were lovely, and the area so peaceful and quite. I would definitely recommend to come here if your looking for a relaxing break.

Everything we wanted from a trip away.

Pots and pans included, nice shower with hot water, good location. Can't fault it at all, would highly recommend to anyone. We also accidentally left behind some things when checking out and the owner gladly posted them over to us. Really top notch service!

Very nice people and lovely property with an amazing view.

Everything was provided including a pint of milk which was a very nice touch. My only concern was the hot tub, it was very nice and very hot but it's just a bath with hot water, no bubbles no jets and it was annoying getting back to the cabin and having to wait 3 hours for it to heat up before we could get in. I'd much rather an electric hot tub that's hot from when we arrive to the minute we leave. That's just my preference, it was very nice when hot.

The pod was nice, clean and cosy and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The only issue we had was the intermittent WiFi disconnection throughout our stay, apart from that it was a lovely place with a stunning view of the farm and sheeps in the morning.

An excellent get away.

The Pod looked even better in person. Carol was a great host, and was always on hand to help. The Pod has everything you need for a few days stay. The hot tub and views are excellent.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage until unfortunately there was a power cut.

We had no heating or lights for 15 hours. The owners tried to help by providing us with a hot water bottle and a flask of hot water. We decided to go out to get a hot meal hoping the power would be back on when we returned. Unfortunately, our car was locked in a car park so we couldn’t go home if we wanted to. We eventually managed to get a taxi back to the cottage but still no electricity. We had an awful night sleep in the cold and couldn’t charge our phones for entertainment. When we asked for some sort of reimbursement, we were told we couldn’t get anything back due to us still spending the night in the cottage. If there wasn’t a power cut, this would have been a lovely holiday with a great hot tub but unfortunately we were unlucky and had a night with no facilities.

We visited Ewe-Two from in October.

We were welcomed to a lovely biscuit and coffee selection! Upon arrival, Carol and Peter were very welcoming. The facilities within the lodge were well kept and well managed, the hot tub was a brilliant touch (once we finally realised how to warm it up!), as well as being situated within a 10 minute drive into the beautiful Welsh valleys. Would highly recommend!

Very nice location, used it as a base to travel around North Wales and visit Chester, all in an hours drive away.

Only negative thing that we could think of is the lack of storage space, stayed for a week, if it was only a couple of days this would have been fine.

Ewe two was absolutely perfect!

Just what I needed to escape the world for a couple of days, i didn’t want to leave because of how amazing it was there the pod had everything you need inside & was so relaxing with a perfect view! The hot tub was amazing once we got use to controlling the perfect heat! Can’t wait to come back

We had an amazing couple of days away at Ewe Two.

Carol kept us up to date when it was ready to checked in and even came over to show us how to use the hot tub. The pod is secluded yet so peaceful. Facilties where clean and the pod very well presented. I wish I was still there! Missing it already.

The Ewe Two lodge was perfect for a getaway, to escape reality.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights and it was divine. It was lovely, private and the hot tub was amazing! Not to mention the cleanliness of the lodge and hot tub in general . The hosts were lovely and so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning!

Very quiet where the lodge was, but only a short drive into Flint. The hot tub facility was great, however only enough wood for 1 night not the two. Would recommend to anyone!

The hosts Carol and Peter were fantastic and very accommodating.

Nothing was too much trouble and they have put a cracking file together of all the different things you can do in the area. Will definitely stay again and be recommending the lodge, it was perfect.

Like most people it was our first proper break in almost two years, and what a way to spend it!

The accommodation was absolutely gorgeous and the people who lived on the farm left you to do your own thing and have your own privacy but still messaged you to make sure you're ok and to let them know if you had any problems, the right kind of balance! They thought of everything, right down to the small finishing touches which made the break so beautiful. On our first night here my partner proposed to me! Ewe Two and Wales will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much!

We had the best and most relaxing time staying at ewe two!

It was just what we needed. We managed to wash away half a years work in two nights, and forget about the world which is just what you want from a holiday. We will definitely be visiting again. The owners were absolutely lovely, and helpful! Can’t recommend enough!

Fantastic spot for the pods.

Facilities are were spot on. Hot tub was very relaxing. Only problem was not much to do due to going un covid, no pubs open and nothing around the area.

Outstanding hidden gem, I booked a 3 night stay here for me and my wife's 8th Wedding Anniversary.

The owners are lovely people, who greeted us on arrival, adhering to Covid 19 guidelines. The pod, area surrounding the pod & quality of fixtures & fittings are way above par. Attention to detail has been implemented into the pod, and the whole experience left us with a feeling of euphoric calmness. We do intend to rebook this pod again, and have left feeling energised, and wanting more

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, it exceeded more than what we expected!

We loved how peaceful and relaxing it was. Just big enough for the two of us. Even though the town doesn’t have much to offer it’s so close to other amenities and towns within half an hour distant! Also the hospitality was amazing, they were so friendly and couldn’t of done enough for us. Great place, fab views, wonderful hospitality! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed this get away we were ment to fly to Mexico but it got cancelled so we booked this spare of the moment but it was fantastic every little thing thought about would highly recommend

The wood fired hot tub was a great bonus and the cleanliness of the pod was beyond excellent.

This little getaway was amazing!

During these times it is a bit worrying going somewhere new but it was clean and made me feel very safe. The amenities were more than I could have asked for and made the stay so easy. I would recommend this place to everyone as the setting and place is beautiful. Everything is all so private as well so you can keep yourself to yourself and enjoy the peace.

What a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful clean pods with everything you need. Your own wood burning hot tub which my Son loved to fire up. The Pods were in a lovely field with excellent views. The owners left you wine biscuits coffee tea and sugar which was very nice gesture. There are bbq, wind breakers and deckchairs all you needed to take was food. Bed was very comfortable. We had an accident whilst we were there in that my Son kicked ball through glass window of the shed but the owners were very understanding and we paid for damaged caused. I would definitely recommend staying here ! It was a much needed break away. Thank you .

We had an amazing couple of days away in the pod, perfect for a romantic get away but also with there being two pods we’ve looked at going with family.

I couldn’t recommend it enough, so much so that my aunty has booked for my uncles 70th. I’ve had loads of people message me in regards to the pictures I posted on my social media, many wanting the details, funny thing is the pictures don’t even do it justice. Small details such as wine on arrival, a folder with loads of information and firewood provided made such a difference. We will definitely be returning, Thanks for having us, Mark and Kate

Very remote and peaceful looking out on fields of sheep Would defiantly recommend to any couple looking for a relaxing break away!

Enjoyed chilling out in the hot tub. The glamping van was very good the only grip was the shower you were very limited to the hot water you had I felt this let the place down.

Glamping pod was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Only thing the shower was freezing cold. Hot tub was lovely but took 2 bags of logs to get to temperature. The whole stay we never saw anyone. Very peaceful

The pod is presented to a very high standard of cleanliness with every thought put into our needs in terms of kitchen utensils etc.

Equally the provision of a BBQ if you were to be a little more lucky with the weather than we were!!! Very peaceful few days and great trips out to Snowdonia and the Menai Straights. Chester is stunning; I was a little reluctant to do the tourist trip to The Cavern in Liverpool but glad we did.. what a buzz, what an atmosphere.
