Two Hoots

From the moment I met Carol and she showed me around , I knew I was in for a fantastic holiday.

Two Hoots is very comfortable with excellent facilities. It is set in its own little private area with its twin pod Ewe Two, with gorgeous views down to the River Dee. I spent every day exploring the beautiful area and then rushing back to relax and chill in the hot tub and listening to the countryside. Thank you for a lovely holiday , can't wait to return xxxx

I had a fantastic stay at Two Hoots.

It was the perfect getaway from everything. Nothing but the sound of sheep and the crackle from the fire in the hot tub. The selection of books in the storage shed was a great plus and gave me a book to enjoy while I wiled away my long weekend on the deck. The accommodation was exactly as described and the bwd really comfortable it was such a nice place to be I didnt venture off of the site.... so I will "unfortunately" have to rebook anf come again.

We had a lovely stay in the Two Hoots with many day trips to the sorrounding areas.

The pod is very nice, clean and well equipped. The hot tub is a joy but be aware that you have to bring your own logs. It's been a pleasure overall.

The hosts Carol and her husband Peter were very friendly making us feel like family/old friends.

Two Hoots was very clean and accommodating; going as far to provide tea/coffee etc. incl milk for a 3night stay that we had. We would certainly recommend and if visiting North Wales again will no doubt look to stay again!!

Myself and my partner stayed here whilst working at Theatre Clywd, we had everything we needed, it was peaceful and relaxing to come back to after a long day at work!

I would highly recommend as a holiday location as well as work accommodation. Genuinely nothing bad to say at all

Nice ,warm and cosy in a very windy December. Carols lovely greeting made us feel right at home. Also gave us lots of pointers ie: shops etc to make our stay more pleasant. Would definitely love to visit again. Thankyou

Everything was well thought out and spot on.

The effort and extra touches did not go unnoticed. We had a lovely time and would definitely return. I was worried about the "farm track" up to the property, but this was fine too. If I had to give one piece of constructive criticism (and this is the only thing which wasn't perfect) is that we paid £20 for the hot tub to be warm on arrival but it was so hot we couldn't get in it, even after turning the fire off straight away. I suppose it takes a bit of getting used to but it was disappointing nonetheless as I had been looking forward to getting straight in with a G&T after the drive down.

Really enjoyed our stay just what me and my husband needed , very peaceful place to stay and loverly view from the pod which was also equipped with everything you need and very clean and homely, loved the hot tub used it everyday we was also met by Carol the owner who made us feel right at home so many thanks again from Juliet and Brian xx

Lovely accommodation with great views and welcoming hosts

Overall everything was great.

Very clean pod, hot tub was ready for us. Owner welcomed us and explained everything. The only issue we had… it supposed to be adults only (this is what has been advertised and this is what we expected) but we found out there was a kid in the next pod. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable and disappointed. We have kids but we specifically chose weekend away from to dont be around them.

We had the pleasure of staying at two hoots last week we had such a lovely time relaxing and enjoying the surroundings felt a million miles from home.

The wood fired hot tub was ready when we got there thanks to the host carol who had thought of everything, can’t wait to return.

A beautiful stay in a rural setting but within close easy reach of many sights and villages.

The property was very clean and Carol was so helpful and friendly. Hot tub was lovely, with gorgeous view across the fields to the estuary to relax and watch the sunset. A very useful shed of goodies provided to make the stay even better such as a BBQ, umbrellas, books and iron. A great place to visit the north Wales coast- lots of CADW castles which accept English heritage passes, look up Angel bay to see the seals and pretty waterfalls to see.

The standard and service we received from the host was second to none.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a week at Two Hoots and it was truly an unforgettable experience.

The surrounding Welsh countryside was perfect, offering blend of comfort and adventure. The pod is spacious, impeccably clean, and elegantly designed with a modern touch. The hot tub was also perfect after a busy day and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after days filled with activities. Not to mention we felt very welcomed by the owner Carol making us feel at home and could always answer any questions you may have. Two Hoots is a true gem that offers a perfect escape. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, adventure, or a bit of both, this place has something to offer. I left feeling rejuvenated and would highly recommended.

This is one of the best holidays me and my partner have had.

It's in such a beautiful place, the view from the the cabin is so beautiful to look out onto and watch the sunset and the owner is ever so friendly and helpful. We had trouble lighting the fire for the hot tub so we asked for help and the owner came straight out, made the fire for us and shown us how to make it too! The kitchen has everything you could need from a kettle to a frying pan! There is also an outside house that is filled with DVD'S, books and leaflets of whats in the area! They really have thought of everything Their are plenty of walks in the area and a lovely chippy that also sells Gluten Free food! Plenty of shops for anything you may need too

Stopping in at the Two Hoots Pod in Flintshire was an absolute delight!

Nestled in a serene countryside setting, this charming pod offers a perfect retreat. The cosy interior was immaculate and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. Carol the hosts were incredibly warm and hospitable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hot Tub was hot and ready to use on arrival. The surrounding trails on the farm were picturesque and ideal for peaceful walks. Overall, our experience at Two Hoots Pod was nothing short of wonderful, and we can't wait to return for another relaxing getaway!

Location is perfect for a weekend getaway.

The hot tub works a treat. Everything extra you need is accessible from a wooden building nearby, eg bbq. The hot tub was ready for action on our arrival. The key code system is a great idea for us, being a late arrival. They have thought of everything. Robes & towels too. In close proximity to coastal towns but peace & tranquility with the sheep who say 'hi' on the farm track leading up to it. Deffo recommend & will return.

Such a lovely owners.

Place is better then on pictures, we felt welcomed, comfortable and did not want to leave. It is clean, cozy little home (that is how I called it) with beautiful view. In the morning you waking up with sheeps and also can tell them good morning they will deffo Baa-aaa you back. In the night the hot tub with the lights it is romantic and so relaxing. Location is close to shops even by walk. There are couple footpaths through the fields what I've seen and took one. Definitely recommend and I am sure we will be back.

Brilliant place and views

Pods are fab, nice and clean, hot tub was great, had a lovely stay, great facilities, Carol was wonderful, would love to return in the future.

This holiday pod is a gem.

Carol was so very helpful and made us feel at home. The pod is an ideal size for a couple and the hot tub was great. It was an ideal base to explore North Wales. I would definitely recommend staying here, make sure you have plenty of wood for the hot tub. We will be back.

Lovely little pod.

It had everything you'd need for a comfortable stay, and the hot tub was very enjoyable once we got the hang of using the log burner to get the water to the right temperature, although Carol was on hand to provide advice! We had a very nice stay.

What an amazing place!

Beautiful pod set in a very quiet , scenic area of Flint. Everything you could possibly need is there , down to the dressing gowns for the hot tub. Lovely tray of goodies greeted us on arrival, but best of all Carol had fired up the hot tub ready for us to use , after an 8 hour shift and a 4 hour drive this was pure bliss. Would definitely book again !!

Fabulous break, owners extremely helpful.

Everything was of good quality, full instructions also provided. The owner also provided lots of information including contact details for things to do, places to eat, shops, doctors etc. Will definitely rebook and go back, as it was so peaceful

This pod is excellent for a romantic get away.

It's clean and has everything you would need for a short stay. The owner met us on arrival and showed us the important things like the hot tub. She was very helpful and gave us some great advice, as did the information pack provided. We would definitely stay again. It is definitely a home away from home, full heating and powerful shower. The location is great enough to save lots of travelling but away so you can enjoy the clear night sky, relaxing in the hot tub. Additional items like Dvds, bbq and garden furniture can be used if needed, available from a communal shed. All in all an amazing experience.

We had a great time staying in two hoots, the accommodation was exactly what we expected from the description, was nice and clean, was nice and relaxing, we really enjoyed it, carol was brilliant, she was there to welcome us and talk us through everything and if we needed anything we could get in contact easily, after welcoming us, we were just left too it, 10/10 would definitely recommend and would definitely return in the future, had a great time.

Where do I start?

Two Hoots is a hidden gem. Literally tucked away and perfect for rest and recuperation. The views are spectacular! We were met by Carol who welcomed us so warmly, she showed us how the hot tub worked and gave us some recommendations for places to eat, places to see etc. After that, she was only a text away if we needed anything but left us to enjoy our stay. You can buy extra logs and kindling for the tub from the hosts if you run out or from local shops. Great informative folder in the pod with all the information you need and even a picture step-by-step guide on how to work the hot tub and appliances. The pod was immaculate - everything you need is here. Bed linen and towels were provided for us. My only suggestion to guests (and this is in no way a criticism!) would be to take an extra beach/bath towel each for the hot tub or shower as we clearly didn’t want to put the heated towel rail on during August but found the towels we used for the tub were still more than a little damp when we came to shower. We ate breakfast at Waterworld in near Neston on the Wirral, about 15 minute drive away. What a recommendation this was from Carol! Hands down the best breakfast we have ever eaten! So good we went back on our way home. Our stay was wonderful - we watched Netflix on the TV from the hot tub and relaxed, which was exactly what we came to do. We loved our stay and will 100% be back.

Two hoots pod is the best glamping pod I have ever been too!

We had been for my best friends 21st and it was the perfect get away. Carol was a fantastic host who couldn’t do enough for us! I will 100% coming back here, the place, pod and surroundings are beautiful. Thankyou so much for giving me and my best friend the best experience for 4 days.

Beautiful place with views towards the Dee Estuary and the Wirral.

Quiet and peaceful location that is perfect if you want to unwind and relax. Carol and Peter were excellent hosts who were there to explain the wood burner for the hot tub and then just left us to our holiday, but were only a phone call away if needed. First time here and worth going again.

Very easy to find and everything provided. Small private parking for the pods with hard standing. We took a few bits just in case, but needed nothing. Virtually everything to cook a meal is provided. Plenty of shops or places to eat in Flint that's about 10 minutes drive or easy walking distance. Prestatyn about 30 minutes away and a great clean beach with Rhyl 10 minutes further. Hot tub does get VERY hot so be warned if you think its taking too long to heat up and keep feeding the fire. About 2 hours for first night and less than 30 minutes for second night as it was still warm. Great views over the estuary and very quiet. Very useful guide book created by the owners of where to eat, suggestions where to go, full instructions on how everything works and wi-fi password. Plenty of sockets to plug phones or anything else in. A hidden gem is Rhaeadr Dyserth Waterfall we found by accident driving the back roads to Rhyl with a great little cafe. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than planned but do ask first and check with owners. You're left to do your own thing after the owners show you around and explain how the hot tub works but a quick text will get you help or more wood if you need it. Definitely one to book again

Fantastic beautiful place to stay we took everything with us ie cleaning stuff toilet rolls t towel bin bags ect but it was all there didn't need a thing I would recommend this to anyone, Carol & Peter are so lovely always at the end of the line if needed just a Fantastic break for us and we're going back in October can't wait

This place is just… wow Such a perfect getaway.

The pod exceeded our expectations. It was clean, equipped and very spacious. The bed was comfy and all the facilities available were ideal, they had everything you needed. The view from the pod is amazing with a beautiful sunrise and sunset. The hot tub is fantastic. We are very grateful for the hosts Carol and Peter who leave you to enjoy your stay but are there if you need anything. They came out of their way to provide us with extra wood for the hot tub and some paracetamol which we forgot to back! There is lots to do in the area walks/hikes etc.. we wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly be back. We would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will also remember it forever as we got engaged whilst there!

Just perfect place, very quiet

Incredible place to stay and relax.

Carol and Peter were amazing, very helpful with the hot tub, both lovely and kind.

The information booklet came in much use, we both enjoyed a week of peace and quiet which was much needed and really enjoyed it, clean and tidy and with everything we could need from towels, tin foil, bin bags, kindling and wood for hot tub to salt and pepper. All the little things I usually forget to pack. The views are beautiful, espwescially watching the stars at night while in the hot tub, would recommend to everyone.

Had the most perfect stay over new year at Two Hoots.

We had everything we needed and the pod was spotless. The hot tub was brilliant, and it was clearly explained by the owner how to use it. I would definitely recommend staying here.

. £5 for extra logs is a bargain! Owners are extremely accommodating we have told every one we have met!! And hope to be back again in the future.

Carol greeted us almost as soon as we arrived to welcome us and show us how to use the hot tub.

The pod was a perfect base for the surrounding area. The facilities were spotless and more than adequate for cooking breakfast and the odd evening meal, Carol and Pete were the perfect host's, will definitely be back to stay again.

The lodge was beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

The hot tub was lovely and we were provided with a starting bag of wood, kindling and fire starters. We quickly went through the first lot of wood and kindling, however there is extra available to buy there. The log burner uses more wood than we expected, we went through 3 bags in 3 uses of the tub, and 2 bags of kindling. The view was beautiful, the lodge felt secluded, and we enjoyed waking up to sheep in the field. On a clear night we were able to see the stars. We have enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to stay there again!

The accommodation was absolutely perfect, the hot tub was an excellent addition, and everything we needed was there. The whole set up was ideal and well thought through. The location was great with plenty to do nearby for everyone. The hosts were excellent too, so friendly and helpful if we needed anything at all. Two Hoots cabin was above and beyond what i expected!

Our stay was memorable and just what we needed to relax for the weekend.. We were greeted on arrival and talked through how to heat the wood fired hot tub, after which we were left to settle in. Along with the cabin is access to additional firewood at a cost (extremely good value, better than local shops), books and dvds, a bbq, chairs, umbrellas and cleaning stuff to use as we wished. The cabin itself was amazingly warm, comfortable and soundproof; we had a fridge-freezer, a sink and a combi-convection oven. The cabinets were gentle closing and we were provided with plates, glasses, pots and cooking utensils. The shower was large, clean and delightful, and the provided towels were soft and clean. Every detail was thought of and wonderfully executed. Thank you very much to Carol for a wonderful stay, definitely a must-do for a couple wanting a little getaway.

We visited for a short break for my partners 30th.

Brilliant accommodation, nice and clean hot tub was great once we got the hang of it. And the views just topped it off. Very affordable, would definitely recommend and would happily visit again.

Absolutely amazing.

My daughter went for her 21st birthday present and had nothing but marvellous things to say about the accommodation and holiday. I had spoken to the owner before hand who was extremely friendly and helpful. She greeted them on arrival and went through anything they needed to know. She put on the hot tub so it would be ready when they arrived and gave a birthday card and bottle of bubbly with balloons. How kind, and this made her birthday even more special. The area was amazing and quiet with sheep and walks, just what she wanted. The pod had everything they could need and was immaculate. They had use of garden chairs and a barbecue. My daughter and her boyfriend loved every minute. Thankyou Two Hoots for making memories.

The hut is amazing, the views are amazing. The hot tub is lovely and easy to use once get the hang of it. We will definitely be going back.

Everything was perfect!

Carol, the owner, was so kind and lovely to us and even lit the hot tub on our arrive! It was just overall the best little break away for a few days. Plenty of shops and stuff to do all nearby in the area, we enjoyed a nice walk around Flint castle and old docks as well. Would definitely book this pod again!

What a great place Two Hoots is.

Spotlessly clean, lovely and quiet and the hot tub is brilliant. My wife and I had a fabulous time just chilling out and admiring the fantastic views over the Dee estuary. Well recommended!

Absolutely wonderful seven night stay in Two Hoots holiday pod!

It was just the quiet break we needed after a stressful year. The pod has a gravel parking and pathway which leads to each pod so even in wet weather no wellies are required! The pod was spotless and had everything you need and more! Carol the owner has thought of everything and even provided wood for the hot tub and welcoming gifts on our arrival. She is a lovely host .The hot tub was amazing after days out sightseeing ! Will definitely stay here again!

Had wine and biscuits and tea and coffee provided amongst other things. Wood for the hot tub was provided. Also netflix and other streaming services on the tv. The place was spotless on arrival. Can not complain about a single thing.

We had a beautiful 3 night stay at two hoots, everything was just as expected and we loved it!

The pod was very clean with all essentials needed plus there was a couple of mini bottles of wine to greet us when we got there which was a lovely gesture. There is a shed full of everything you need, we had a bbq on our first night and there is extra wood for the hot tub. It took us a little while to get the hang of the hot tub but once we worked it out it was great to use and we loved being able to chill it in whilst watching a film on the TV! We would recommend this place to everyone and I think we will return sometime in the future

The pod was beautiful inside and out.

The views were wonderful and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake! Carol went above and beyond by heating up the hot tub both nights we were there. Strongly recommend, we will be back soon. Thank you Two Hoots!

Everything was lovely, and it felt so cosy!

Was really pleased with the pod and the cleanliness, also had all the cleaning bits we needed like washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels, kitchen roll and bin bags, Which was great. WiFi included even had Netflix! Was a lovely little stay and very privately fenced off from the other pod. Would defiantly return.

Hi stayed here for 3 nights with my Son and my friend and her Son stayed in Ewe Two.

The pods were very clean and perfect everything you needed. The wood burning hot tub was a must and my Son loved firing it up no need to worry about logs ! Two bags given and then you could purchase logs if more needed. The pods are in a lovely field with beautiful views and was extremely peaceful. Lovely field where boys played football. I would definitely recommend.

We had the best time staying here for the past 3 nights and we didn’t want to leave.

It was very clean and well equipped with everything you need even offering dvds which made it feel nice and homely, the bed was really comfy and we loved the hot tub we went in it every night. It is a short drive from a variety of supermarkets and there are things to do in the surrounding areas. It was such a nice break from everything that is going on at the moment and to have a little chill time. We will definitely be returning.

The owner was welcoming and had the wood fired hot tub fired up on the first day which was wonderful. We tried it again on our last day but it took hours and we gave up, but then the weather was really awful which didn't help! Overall a lovely holiday pod!

It was very peaceful and relaxing, very clean with everything you would get in a hotel, it took around 4 hours for the water to warm up in the hot tub but once warm stayed warm for hours, I would definitely go back.

Two hoots was a beautiful little lodge, where I stayed with my 3 year old little girl for a little break.

The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I was a bit nervous to stay with just a child, but I was made to feel so welcome and we just had the perfect time. Surrounded by sheep and cows, we were both in our element. The location was stunning, the lodge was beautiful and very clean and tidy.
