Description

Beech Cottages is a peaceful single-storey lodge set in the market town of Llanrwst, Conwy.

Offering couples a scenic retreat on the edge of Eryri National Park, boasting an open-plan layout, a shared hot tub and allows pets.

After arriving and settling into the nearby parking, or stepping off the train at Llanrwst station, you’ll step into a thoughtfully arranged lodge where wooden flooring and soft lighting create a sense of calm and flow.

The open-plan living space invites you to flick on a playlist through the Smart TV as you whip up a romantic meal in the well-equipped kitchen, with everything to hand for easy evenings in.

As the scent of dinner fills the air, dim the lights and gather around the dining table for a quiet supper or a celebratory toast to your time away.

The double bedroom is styled with deep tones and natural textures, offering a tranquil space to rest.

An en-suite shower room completes the layout, with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, a refreshing place to rinse off the day’s adventures before settling in for the evening.

As night falls, the shared hot tub offers a peaceful spot to soak beneath the stars, with mountain views rising in the distance and the quiet hum of nature all around.

Guests also benefit from access to a chargeable on-site launderette, ideal for longer stays.

Dogs are welcome too, with riverside paths and woodland trails nearby offering plenty of space to roam and explore together.

Beech Cottages is a tranquil and well-placed base for couples seeking fresh air, scenic views and time to reconnect in the heart of North Wales.

Mattress is absolutely horrendous.

You Can feel the springs the minute you sit down. Causing pain when sleeping. Not comfortable what so ever. Had to sleep on the sofa due to pain it was causing. Clearly an ongoing issue that hasn’t been addressed. Smell in the lodge was ridiculous. You don’t offer air fresheners so had to buy our own to mask the smell of the lodge. We had to leave the door open when we were in the lodge at all times due to how strong this smell was. It was there before we got there so clearly another on going issue which you decided to ignore. Utensils weren’t cleaned properly. Freezer was full of frost couldn’t even put anything in. Had to clean it myself. I didn’t realise we also had to clean up other people mess when arriving. The fact we paid £450+ for this and this is what we got in return is beyond a joke. I would be accepting some sort of refund for this Unacceptable

Would I Go back No, the furniture was broken the utensils were minimal, I.

e two knives and two forks and one spoon. We were put in a cottage with no secure garden, yet opposite people with no dogs had secure garden's. The WiFi was terrible and our bed mattress was covered in pee stains. Very annoyed because off the price we paid we would have expected better standards.

Not great when you arrive to your holiday 'luxury ' lodge accommodation to find it really isn't .

The photos are not clear and for two people you are in a semi detached lodge we could hear everything next door your doors adjacent less than a meter apart. It's not clear from any other the photos. We didn't appreciate one dirty hand towel between two people , we contacted Seren retreats and asked for two clean hand towels and another even more dirty one was hung on our door. So ended up with two dirty hand towels . Really need to buy some new ones I think . The furniture needs a good clean the sitting chair needs replacing. We gave up and used our beach towels as didn't use the hot tub that closes at 3 every day which wasn't clear on the booking sites . The location is pretty.
