What guests are saying
Overall a great stay and good location.
A few minor points (low level maintenance and up keep) but did not affect our stay at all. Would 100% recommend to family and friends.
Certainly doesn’t match the pictures given.
The bathroom was filthy. The plug hole had clumps of hair from previous residents. There was half a toilet roll that was used before that was left there so clearly not checked. The sofa bed was unbelievably filthy There was cob webs everywhere and I found nail clippings on the floor The patio garden was tired, worn, it had a broken gate that has yet to be fixed so clearly wasn’t safe for my 20 month old son. The weather couldn’t have been helped with how warm it was but the fan provided was so filthy, I had to clean it myself to make it work. I just think this was carelessly left unclean and undesirable. I certainly wouldn’t want to come back to this lodge again.
We didn’t actually stay at the property as long Jen we arrived the lodge hadn’t been cleaned, bedding hadn’t been changed and we ended up packing up and leaving a 2am as there was nobody on site to clean the room or change the bedding and it wasn’t hygienic to sleep in used sheets covered in hair and dirt.
