Hideaway Lodge

We all had a really enjoyable week staying in this clean comfortable and well appointed lodge in an ideal quiet location with extensive views of the surrounding countryside.

We were pleased to meet David, the owner of the lodge during our stay when he came to upgrade the outdoor furniture and also to provide a fan because of the extremely hot weather we were enjoying at the time. The holiday park is a pleasure to visit with its well kept grounds and litter free environment and we would be happy to stay again.

We were aware of the access to the property but the steps to property were steeper than anticipated, there is an initial flight of steps as seen in photo followed by a further 4 steep and uneven steps up to access deck at rear of property for front door.

Property itself was well appointed and comfortable, but a little tired in places. Kitchen cleaning could have done with a little more attention as some utensils and crockery needed a re-wash and the hob/oven was not cleaned to the standard I would expect.

a lovely relaxing place to stop, very well equipped, clean and spacious, would recommend it.

Wonderfully comfortable and clean lodge, in a beautiful location.

Short walk to Tintagel town and only minutes away from the stunning coastal path. The lodge is really spacious and has everything you need. The only thing that could have improved our experience would be a working hot tub! We hope to be back again soon!

Our 5th time in Hideaway Lodge and probably not the last.

All very clean and well kept. Idyllic spot at the bottom of the site, couldnt ask for more.

Second week in Hideaway this year, having had a week in May.

Sadly the Microwave was not working which although a pain was not too bad to accomodate. Odd the table cloth was not around this time either. All being said, we really love the peacefulness of Hideaway and are due back in May again (booked before this trip) Lovely place

Lovely lodge and we had a really enjoyable few days, so thankyou, but outside could have been a little better - the decking to the front door and ballustrades surrounding the lodge could have been swept down, this would have improved it's first impression.

The key safe, while understandably well hidden, could be in a position which is a little easier to access. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a couple of useful items - a collendar and wooden/silicon spoons so as not to scratch the cooking pots.

Enjoyed our stay, lovely cabin with scenic view over fields.

Excellent stay

After a long journey from West Yorkshire we found the Lodge to be absolutely perfect.

Well equipped with everything you could need. Clean and with outstanding views over the countryside. Your website should have the views during the summer. Nights were really peaceful for sleeping too. Would recommend this as 10 out of 10.

The lodge was beautiful lovely and clean, the hot tub was amazing a guy came round everyday to clean it, the site was spotless I cannot fault anything about our break, I would definitely book again.

The best UK stay we’ve ever had.

So private, in the beautiful countryside yet a stone throw away from the beach. Immaculately clean! So comfortable and had everything we needed. There’s so much to do in the area, We’ve already booked to come back :)

A wonderful, restful place for a break.

The lodge is beautiful, immaculately clean and everything you need is provided. The hot tub is a massive bonus and was very much appreciated after a long walk each day. Will definitely book again.

The Lodge was lovely inside and out!

The position was excellent, the Sun shone through the living doors every morning. The inside was spacious, very clean, excellent decor and had a nice finish to everything. Excellent location near Tintagel and very helpful staff and owners.

Wonderful location for walking out and within easy reach of interesting places to visit.
