Description

Chantry Lodge is settled on Newperran Holiday Park in the Cornish village of Hendra Croft.

With a hot tub to admire the sea-views, a stylish open-plan living space and well-positioned for amenities, this two-bedroom lodge welcomes both families and friends.

This pet-friendly holiday home offers off-road parking for two cars and a large warp-around decking to dine alfresco on balmy evenings.

Enter the open-plan living space, where you can unwind on the corner sofa, enjoy mealtimes together at the dining table and catch-up on shows on the wall-mounted TV.

The contemporary, matte-black kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered stay, such as a range master cooker to prepare home-cooked meals.

Patio doors lead out to the decking; here you can melt your stresses away in the hot tub or savour a glass of wine on the furniture.

As the evening winds to an end, retire inside and choose between two light and airy bedrooms, a double with an en-suite and a twin bedroom, both with TVs.

Prepare for the day ahead in the shower room before sipping a morning coffee on the decking.

Opposite the property is a large field for the dogs to enjoy and let off some steam.

A short walk will lead you to your amenities with a restaurant for dining out, a pub for a refreshing pint and a supermarket for when you're running low on the essentials.

Also on site is a swimming pool to enjoy.

The lodge is close the beach and days out can be enjoyed at Holywell Bay.

Venture into Perranporth, a quaint coastal town that is home to some of the region's most beautiful beaches and stunning coastal scenery.

The town is a popular spot for surfing, swimming, and fishing, and is also known for its nightlife and lovely old-world charm.

The vibrant town of Newquay is also worth a trip, with Newquay Zoo, a great place to visit for animal lovers of all ages, and Porth Beach for a day of relaxing by the sea.

For those who enjoy exploring historic buildings, the National Trust - Trerice is must-see.

For a coastal break to Cornwall, choose Chantry Lodge.

From when we first arrived at Chantry Lodge, we felt at home.

The holiday park was lovely and peaceful, clean, and quiet. We enjoyed the onsite facilities as well as going out to visit the local beaches and towns. The Lodge was lovely. We had contact with the owners of the Lodge, and they were amazing during our stay. We definitely needed some time to chill and relax, and Chantry Lodge gave us that. I thoroughly recommend using here for your quiet getaway. Thank you

We had a lovely two weeks holiday here, the weather was wall to wall sunshine and the lodge is perfectly placed to enjoy it, the hot tub wasn’t used as much as we normally would due to it being too hot, could have been useful as a cold tub instead lol!

The lodge is a little dated and needs some TLC, we fixed the fridge back to the cupboard door in the first hour of us being there and unfortunately the kitchen sink had a huge leak, but the owners soon sourced a local plumber to arrive and it was quickly fixed. The uploaded photos are obviously when the lodge was new, it’s not quite like that now. The cleanliness wasn’t great and we vacuumed and cleaned the kitchen / bathrooms ourselves. The owner stated they were away and didn’t clean the lodge themselves for our stay, it was outsourced. There was no rotary airer as stated in the information and just seems to be a broken pole at the rear of the lodge, we popped to Argos and bought an airer for our stay to dry washing / towels. The ‘for sale’ sign in the window is a little off putting as people keep stopping to look, it impacts on privacy as you feel like you’re being looked at. Overall a nice lodge, in a lovely part of the park but needs a bit of attention.

This was our 2nd stay at Chantry Lodge.

And I have to say it's a credit to the owners. They really have thought of everything, it's so well equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hot tub is fantastic and if you pop in at the right time your gonna see the most amazing sunsets! The Lodge itself is perfectly situated to go off exploring the local beaches, towns and places to go for walks. The dog walking field is a bonus at well and our little pooches loved it. We didn't want to come home and had the best most relaxing week again. Massive thanks to the owners and all the best for the future
