Chantry Lodge

The lodge was on a corner so very windy and not very private for the hot tub.

The cleanliness of the oven which was a gas range oven and hob was not acceptable and was not able to use it. It was tired and well used. I would prefer an electric oven and hob.

Had a lovely relaxing time.

Plenty of things on site for people with children. Pool was good, you had to book if it was busy. The restaurant/bar had a good choice of food and drinks. Our cabin had everything we needed nice quiet area and relaxing hot tub and lovely views over the fields

Really loved the lodge with everything you could need, the hot tub was a big bonus as we as the location.

Beautiful and homely Lodge in a well-kept and very clean condition.

We had the pleasure of briefly meeting the owners once during their daily check of the hot tub chemicals, and they were very polite and lovely to meet. The hot tub was great too. Would definitely be happy to book again.

Chantry lodge was a stunning little getaway to celebrate our anniversary.

It’s situated in the perfect location near to beautiful Perrenporth beach and Fistral beach in Newquay, where we had a lovely walk along the beach. All in all we had a relaxing time away. Would definitely visit again in the future

Dust was everywhere!

! Blinds where disgusting. Needs replacing!!. Food left from other people still in cupboards. Dishwasher was very annoying had to wash up by hand. (not what I want to do on my hoilday). Think fuses need looking at. Hottub was only checked ONCE . Used twice out of 4 nights. Very disappointed in that !!

Absolutely perfect, a wonderful holiday.

If you are looking for a quieter holiday park, but not a far drive from a busier town, this is ideal. The lodge caravan was prefect. My boys enjoyed a relax in the hot tub. On a clear day you can see the sea from the decking. Would recommend to all my friends.

Lovely property like a home away from home.

Great facilities with lovely little touches, quiet and perfect for exploring Cornwall. Luckily the weather was beautiful so we made full use of the hot tub and decking area. Would definitely recommend Chantry lodge

We had a lovely time at Chantry Lodge.

Very comfortable,and dog safe. The hot tub was amazing. Was a nice place to return to when we had been out all day. Great facilities. Just steps into hot tub would have been useful. Would recommend to friends and family. Thanks again for a great Holiday.

Beautiful 14 night stay in the Lodge, with amazing sea and sunset views Ample space, main bedroom & bathroom bigger than expected ,ensuite and 2nd bedroom size ok Kitchen, clean tidy plenty of kitchen pots pans, cutlery etc the range cooker a nice bonus Plenty of space in living room nice big TV, sofa comfy.

The decking outdoor well maintained, outside furniture very comfortable. Hot tub, we used 90% of our holiday Lodge location in quite part of the site, close to the dog field. The amenities on site were very clean, tidy, the grounds very well maintained Just one or two negative was there was no steps / mat to get in and out of the hot tub plus you had to lift the lid on and off the hot tub everytime to use,which was heavy and awkward to do. The carpet grip between ensuite n main bedroom, screw not completely screwed in ,so painful if you stood on it. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely few days in the lodge it was as described and very comfortable.

It would have been nice to have instructions for the heating and the hot tub as we couldn't get the lodge warm when we first arrived and the weather was very wet and cold. Luckily the sun came out and that was no longer an issue, and the hot tub we were concerned that it kept turning on even when we thought we had switched it off. Everything else was lovely and we really enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful homely property, well maintained with everything we needed and so welcoming.

Perfect location on the edge of the site with no obstructions to the fields beyond. Very peaceful site with a few good amenities, swimming pool, park, amusements, laundrette and bar with pool table and dart board and serving really lovely food (and I’m fussy!). Great base for exploring Cornwall.

Lovely property in a great quiet location.

Property was very cosy and well equipped. We would definitely return.

We were disappointed as no real sea view as expected.

Hot tub not really suitable for 4 adults. Badly needs a new rug in sitting room. Would benefit from water absorbent mat at the entrance from the hot tub to save the carpet, we had to use a mat from the bathroom.

We had a fantastic stay at Chantry Lodge.

A lovely spacious lodge with hot tub and everything we needed. The dog walking area was opposite and ideal to let our dog have a run around. The hot tub was maintained each day. The only issue I found was I couldn't see that there was a washing line outside so couldn't use the washing machine.

We had the most amazing week at Chantry lodge and would highly recommend staying here.

It is a very good size for a family of 4 and a dog. It was clean and very comfortable with amble storage and all the utensils needed for self catering. The hot tub was an added bonus and the views were amazing. It is situated in a quiet area of the park right next to the dog walking field which was perfect for us. The pool was clean and never too busy although only open 10-4pm. The park is close to a number of beautiful beaches and only 10 mins into Perranporth. We are already looking to book again for next year!!

The property was lovely, clean, large size and had everything we needed.

We took extra things with us that we didn’t need such as, tea towel, condiments coffee, tea and sugar which were already there. The only negative we had was the site itself, no shop onsite it was pretty basic. But if you are happy to drive out every day the beaches are close by and Newquay town.

Absolutely lovely stay!

Wish we could have stayed longer ! The most perfect location and so peaceful! Love the dog fields , very well thought out with the pathways . Hot tub fantastic. Two things you could have done was maybe cut the hedge from our view and ordered more sunshine and less rain !!! Will definitely be returning.

This is a really lovely holiday lodge, it was really clean and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

There is lots of storage space in each bedrooms and the lodge feels really big. The showers are both the best ones I’ve ever used away from home. The pressure is really strong and great for long thick hair like mine. The shower in the main bathroom is really spacious. For those with Tweens or teens; the WiFi works well and there’s a good choice of TV channels (for the rainy or rest days!)

Absolutely fantastic lodge to stay in with everything you need.

Lovely location with stunning views and walks on your doorstep if you have dogs or even if you don’t! Midway between Perrenporth and Newquay so ideal location for the beaches and water. The site was quite as we were there just before May half term which was ideal but I don’t think it would be a rowdy site anyway. A perfect,, rejuvenating, peaceful week away that we would highly recommend and would have no hesitation in returning to. We didn’t want to leave.

The lodge was beautifully presented, very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

It was in a lovely quiet part of the site and we would not hesitate in coming back! We didn’t get the sea view we were expecting which is a shame, but we still had great views from the hot tub! Lots to explore close by and we really enjoyed our time there.

Perfect little lodge for me and my little family.

It has a great amount of space for the kids and the dog. 10 mins away from Perranporth and Newquay so perfect for days out. The shower is unbelievable it might be a little thing but it is better than the one I have at home. I would definitely recommend this lodge and if we hadn't already booked another in April we would definitely be coming back.

Lovely property set in a quiet part of the park.

Property was very clean and tidy with everything you need. There is a folder with a guide of places to visit .Met the owner there was most helpful with information would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Lovely stay very peaceful and relaxing.

Bedding and towels need an upgrade they feel rather worn and past their best. Hot tub well maintained and very clean thank you would return again.

Chantry Lodge was a real home from home for our week in Cornwall.

Beautifully clean, comfortable, well equipped and a great location.

Caravan and facilities within are amazing.

Lovely and clean on arrival and everything worked. Site lovely and quiet and easy to get to places around. The caravan itself is of a really high standard. The hot tub was simply wonderful on an evening. Only criticism would be that the pool on the site only opens from 10-4 each day so we could never use it as this was when we were out and about - however not the owners fault or any retraction from the caravan itself, which was amazing.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Chantry Lodge.

We had a fabulous time and even the weather was kind to us. We cannot recommend Chantry Lodge highly enough. From the lovely welcome gifts on arrival (including a bottle of wine, local fudge, fresh milk, tea, coffee and sugar) to dressing gowns in the wardrobe, our every need was catered for. Chantry Lodge was exceptionally clean, the beds were really comfy, the showers powerful and large, Netflix was available on all 3 TVs and the view from the hot tub was amazing. The site was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, the dog walking field 15 seconds away and space for 2 cars on the driveway, there was nothing more we could have asked for (except to stay longer). Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Chantry Lodge.

The site was quiet and well positioned to visit Perranporth and Holywell and the lodges location on the site was quiet. Everything was clean and well maintained and everyone loved the hot tub. Having utilities like a washing machine and dishwasher make holiday life so much easier as well. Would definitely stay again.

First holiday where I did not get problems from the bed.

Showers are so spacious and powerful making them a joy to use. High quality equipment throughout. Great view, very quiet site and dog exercise field is handy to the lodge. All in all a very comfy place to stay which will be hard to equal and we will return very soon.

Stunning property with every amenity you could want.

Views were amazing , didn't want to leave ! Site itself is excellent , within easy reach of St Ives , Newquay and Mevagissey (30mins max). Local dog friendly pub welcoming with good food and drinks. Top Tip - take the bus into Perranporth and Newquay! Far easier and cheaper option. Looking to book again next year

Gorgeous lodge in a nice, quiet location.

Really clean and the owner was really friendly and helpful. Hot tub was great for on an evening and then had Netflix in both the lounge and bedroom for when we wanted to settle down. Only downsides are the mattresses were quite uncomfortable and the loud on-site entertainment meant we couldn’t enjoy our last evening chilled out in the hot tub.

Lodge was lovely ,everything you could want .

Really clean absolutely faultless .Shame we couldint say the same about the weather ,but had a nice relaxing week .

Very comfortable, clean and had all our needs for the three days. Enjoyed the hot tub and scenery with a glass of red. Will definitely go back.
