Pams Place

The caravan was lovely, very clean and had most things you need.

However, our stay there was totally spoiled by the very uncomfortable mattress, it was very lumpy, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. There was no remote for the bedroom tv but this didn't bother as we couldn't relax in that bed anyway. The bottom sheet had a couple of spots on it, fortunately we took our own mattress cover, duvet set and pillows. Also there was no toilet roll in the en suite. It was such a shame, if the cheap mattress was changed this could have been perfect. Accommodation providers everywhere should by now know the importance of providing a good mattress. For this reason I could not recommend Pam's Place and will not return.

Lovely stay at Pams Place, everything we needed was there, couldn't have asked for better weather, patio doors open and a lovely table & chairs to sit and have a drink.

This was our 1st ever stactic caravan break and the location was brilliant and not too far from many places of interest too visit like we did and the beaches are close aswell and also takeaway deliveries know trevella park so there wasn't an issue finding us highly rate the Chinese we had

We have stayed in a lot of places in Cornwall for many many years.

Pam’s Place is up there with, in our opinion, some of the best. The property was very clean when we arrived and the lovely welcome gift was kind. There is nothing that we needed which wasn’t already thought of in the caravan. Trevella is a beautiful caravan park (we have stayed there before) but having Pam’s Place tucked away was an additional bonus. Perfectly situated with 5 minutes drive into Newquay and a 10 minute drive into Perranporth (which we love) was ideal. The beautiful Gannel walk was a first and it did not disappoint. Crantock, whilst very small and quiet, is beautifully picturesque and worth the walk into with one of the best beaches in Cornwall to offer. Thank you Pam’s Place for being the perfect spot to explore and chill out in too (or hide from the rain). We will definitely be back again - perhaps with out dog next time who would love the walks that there are to offer near by. Booking and contact before holiday was just perfect, not too much and kept informed along the way. Thank you.

Overall the property was good and well maintained with great TVs and kitchen.

The fenced area was great for the dogs to be outside as needed and the provision of throws for covering the furniture was a great addition. The large sofa is actually a sofa bed, so not great comfort for any lengthy seating. Unfortunately, the biggest area that needs addressing is the toilet area. The radiator being next to the toilet was covered in urine stains along with a couple of the kitchen pots that still had burnt food inside, hence the low cleanliness score.

The accommodation matched everything on the Sykes holiday let description.Very comfortable,well maintained property , situated in a very quiet area.Very peaceful and relaxing stay.Thankyou for the welcoming treats, very much appreciated.Very good communication with the property owner regarding updates on arrival times. Had absolutely no issues with Wi-Fi or using any of the appliances,all very straight forward.Would easily give it a 5 star rating.Enjoyed so much have book again for September Thank you Paul

We have had a lovely time at Pams Place, the caravan was beautiful and offered everything you'd need on holiday.

The little touches and little welcome gift was lovely. It was easy to book and communication leading up to going on holiday was brilliant. We had a little issue with the boiler going off a few times, but each time the issue was dealt with swiftly within minutes. Would highly recommend Pams Place and Sykes Cottages to book through. Loved our time at Pams place and will definetley be back again. Thank you for the lovely accomodation, it was very luxurious and a lovely home from home.

Lovely place to stay well kept grounds The linen in the bedrooms wasn’t ironed,mud in the little boot room.

also the Hoover was full up.

Lovely property in a nice position on the site!

The welcome pack was a really nice touch and much appreciated! The lodge was spotless, well maintained and of a high standard. We had a wonderful week especially the coastal walk to Crantock and joining up with other walks. The only slight criticism is that the property needs an information booklet eg: use of the appliances, WiFi password, recycling waste etc,plus information about the Trevella site itself! Trevella is a well established site and very well maintained although this was our first stay here we were very impressed! Our holidays tend to be out of season to avoid the crowds and school terms so our experience is of a quiet time. We would highly recommend Pam’s Place for a couple or small family and the lodge itself is a credit to the owner!
