What guests are saying
Unfortunately we were disappointed with our stay.
We went to the restaurant on arrival and did not get a welcome from the man with a ponytail wrapping up knives and forks, my partner said “ Good morning how are you today?” to which the response was “ Can I help you?” not very friendly at all while we were being served lunch. We was unable to go to the shops because there was a weather warning for high sided vehicles (we had our motorhome with us) so we asked reception for some sugar, we were made to feel like we should not be asking but quite frankly sugar and tea should be supplied. We did not get our cushions for the outside chairs until the day we departed. The lodge is in need of maintenance with broken ropes etc. The grounds are beautiful but sadly we will not recommend this to our friends or consider returning.
