Lodge 22, Bodmin Holiday Park, Cornwall

An ideal base for visiting this area of Cornwall, and travelling further afield via the A30, which is just a 2-minute drive away.

The accommodation was very comfortable, and had everything we needed, including tea, coffee, milk & biscuits! Some of the information suggests that the Wi-fi isn't great, but we found it perfectly fine for watching videos, so don't be put off by this. There are now recycling areas on the park where you can recycle pretty much everything, just take something to put it in during your stay. There were just two of us, so the lodge was very spacious, with lots of little tables, and areas to store things.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge in Bodmin.

The area was very quiet and clean as was the lodge. We had all the facilities we needed, and the place was spotless. We were also a short 20 minute drive from Watergate bay, and the coastal paths which i was pretty happy about. I would definitely book again!

This was a gorgeous cottage, a lovely clean home from home, 2 bathrooms were such an added bonus for the 7 of us!

The restaurant was fabulous! The pool was great and all the staff on site were lovely, such a beautiful setting. Would come back again!!

The Lodge (22) is lovely and ideal for my family.

Very clean and all rooms were furnished beautifully with the bathroom facilities feeling high end. We were also blown away by how much equipment (whether dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen utensil, hand gel in the bathrooms and extra bedding etc) was available for us on arrival. Whilst there is space for 2 cars in front of the lodge if someone parks in the opposite lodge’s parking space it can be difficult to manoeuvre out, so on occasions for a second car we used one of the site car parks for ease which are only a 2 minute walk away The Lodge is ideally situated on a holiday park. There is lots of space between each accommodation and the site has a bar/restaurant, small shop for essentials, gym, swimming pool, escape room and football golf. We found all the people to be very friendly and helpful. The nearest village Lanivet, is a short drive away, which is beautiful and has a small shop, pub, restaurant and play area and of course Bodmin is also on your door step (Sainsburys, places of interest and to eat/drink). We felt centrally based in Cornwall, to be able to visit so many wonderful sites. On the whole we would all say Lodge 22 and Cornwall don’t disappoint, we had an amazing holiday and would recommend the Lodge as a great location to stay.

Omg this lodge was beautiful.

Everything you needed was there. The sofas as well as the bed were so comfortable after a day of walking. The space inside was amazing. I called it our Tardis for the week. The park it's located on is a quiet park and in a fantastic location to get anywhere. Michael the host was fabulous and very informative on how hot the lodge got upstairs and how to deal with it. He also sent a check-in message throughout our stay just to see how everything was. We will definitely come back to lodge 22.

As usual the cottage was clean and comfortable.

We were fortunate to have good weather but on the Friday it poured down and the balcony flooded. I would definitely book again as it is so well situated.

Excellent accommodation within beautiful surroundings.

Lodge 22 is homely, everything is very well maintained. The owners have thought of everything to offer a very comfortable stay. In my opinion there are no negatives, The Bodmin Holiday Park is also currently undertaking renovations of the swimming pool, fitness centre, restaurant, reception area, the lake, grounds and gardens. I would definitely revisit.

We were very comfortable and everything we could need was in the property, plenty of china (rare) so we could use dishwasher most economically.

Unfortunately the site had no recycling that we could find , but that seemed the same around the area we stayed , ended up taking home big bag to recycle at home .

We loved the lodge, it was spacious, the location was great, the lodge itself has been really well maintained and there were lots of bits included in the lodge that made the stay even more comfortable (smart TV, games, DVD player, beach equipment to name a few) The only issue we had was the hot water, in the morning when showering it was extremely hot, however when we came to bath our girls between 6pm and 7pm the water was lukewarm at best, we had to add kettle water a couple of times.

This was regardless of if we had showered in the morning, as we made a point of not doing so on one day to try and preserve the hot water but this made no difference. All in all though, a lovely lodge and we really enjoyed our time here! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a very nice stay at lodge 22.

The property was nice and bright and clean with lovely decor all round. The second bathroom downstairs is a bonus as the children had their own space. We had a little welcome pack with Cornish biscuits and some other bits like tea, coffee and hot chocolate which was nice. Kitchen was well equiped with with all the essentials and more for self catering. The location was perfect for seeing/ travelling to places in Cornwall. We didn't use the park facilities as went out every day but the site looked nice and well maintained. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you

Everything that you need. Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting. Lodges well spaced apart. ideal location for exploring Cornwall.

one of the best self catering lodges I have stayed in, pity it is so far away from the nearest town, one would be lost with out a car

The lodge was absolutely stunning!

! We were lucky enough to get snow during our stay which made it even more beautiful as it felt like a proper winter getaway! It was clean and tidy and very well equipped with pretty much everything we could need. The owners were so helpful and friendly with any queries we had and got back to us very quickly. We loved the interior as well, particularly the living room area as it was so cosy and well decorated! It was brilliant that the TV had free access to all the main streaming services as well, which was amazing for a movie night in! One of our favourite things about the lodge was the jacuzzi bath, which added a lovely touch of luxury to our stay! It was all perfect and we'll more than likely be back again one day and have already recommended it to friends and family! Thank you so so much for our beautiful holiday!!

Lodge 22 had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The holiday park was pretty and peaceful too.

Very comfortable at 22 Waterside.

Suited us very well. We both enjoyed our stay very much and our accommodation was really nice. Very central to anywhere in Cornwall we wanted to travel to. Shame all facilities on the site not yet open but, hopefully, soon will be.

We had a very enjoyable week here.

The cottage is in a good location if you have a car and it is easy to visit National Trust houses, gardens and the Eden Project from here. It is clean, comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Unfortunately the restaurant, swimming pool and other central facilities were still closed due to change of ownership. We were very lucky with the weather and had a marvellous week.

Excellent location for covering most of Cornwall within 1hr.

20mins to a beach in both north and south directions. Quiet site, once the onsite pool an restuarant is reopen this location will be excellent. Waterside No 22 has everything you need for a comfortable family holiday, the place was clean and tidy. Really enjoyed this Holiday.

The property was clean and well equipped, the property could benefit with some comfy outdoor seating to relax in.

The rooms are warm and comfortable. We had a problem with the water supply, we rang the contact number in the lodge book, who immediately dealt with it and reported back that it was a site issue, and arrange for bottled water to be provided. Ideal for a couple, or family of four, plenty of places to visit nearby, suggestions are in the lodge book, we have added a few extra aimed at those looking for more history. Most site activities were closed on our visit in March, so worth checking that on-site facilities are open, we however managed without them.

Amazing property had lots of fun , the place is exactly as described, clean and comfy, Michael was a excellent host and made out holiday great.

We had the most fantastic stay at 22 Waterside.

The lodge was spotless, the location was perfect and Sykes and the property owners were very accommodating when we needed to change our date. It was the perfect half term and a great way for a busy family of 5 like ours to just switch off from every day life and enjoy the simpler things. Thank you for providing this wonderful cottage.

We were disappointed that the pool and gym were not available, but due to the present situation it couldn't be helped.

Also, one of the beds was very uncomfortable . The Lodge it's self was quite spacious and comfortable.

22 Waterside is the perfect getaway to a quiet but convenient place to access all of cornwall.

Located only 5 mins off the a30 meaning you can get to the rest of cornwall quickly but you wouldn't realise the a30 is so close, you literally can't hear a thing the site is so peaceful. We have stayed at the site before and the facilities are excellent with a spa bath and rain shower a super comfy kingside bed upstairs, if you had extra guests two extra beds downstairs with an excellent en suite and the kitchen and living room space you need, normally the site has a pool, gym, restaurant and shop but these were closed due to covid,but other activities on site such as fishing, footgolf, segway and more are still running. The property was spotless on arrival and cleaned to an excellent condition with all surfaces sanitized. Finally a welcome pack containing local treats such as local produced crisps, fudge, shortbread, chocolate and more was an excellent addition! Overall I would I highly recommend 22 waterside for a luxury lodge in a quiet location with easy access to both north and south cornwall, with all the facilities you need to have a cracking holiday exploring Cornwall or relaxing in the lodge

..very comfortable and clean. Lovely site too but unfortunately due to covid most of the facilities were closed so I'm unable to comment on these. A great location to explore beautiful Cornwall. Great communication from the property owner too

Lovely property in a convenient location, Very clean and everything you need for a self catering break.

Local site facilities are excellent and the only disappointment was that the main club house and pool were closed due to COVID regulations. We would not hesitate to book again in the future.

It could do with a better key safe located nearer the front door ,when I arrived it was raining and the wind was blowing by the time I entered the numbers and got to the front door I was very wet

Our accommodation - Lodge 22 Waterside, Lanivet - was perfect from the moment we stepped through the door.

Plenty of home comforts made the lodge feel cozy and welcoming. The resort has excellent facilities, ideal for families and groups of all ages - there really is something for everyone. The location, whilst secluded, is not far from main roads and convenient for many local attractions. Would definitely recommend.

The location was fantastic and it was fairly close to all the main attractions. Even when the weather was bad it was still lovely just to be there. I would highly recommend 22 Waterside, Cornwall.

Lovely accommodation, clean, comfortable and spacious.

Ideal location and accommodation to relax and unwind. Helpful and considerate owner with excellent communication. Swimming pool nice and warm kids loved it! Even managed a few trips to the sauna later in the day as you can use the day pass as many times as you want. Lovely places to eat locally. Will certainly book again.

Amazing time away with the family

The lodge is a perfect place to access many of Cornwall's best beaches.

Great on site facilities for children and good entertainment each evening. The lodge itself was spotless and in great condition with plenty of space to cater for yourselves. Blurb did say to bring spare cleaning things but would have expected some washing up liquid and bin bags to be provided. Welcome pack was a lovely addition. Would definitely return to this property.

Fantastic accommodation and facilities.

Brilliant home from home, very comfortable. There was 5 of us in the lodge, 2 adults 3 children and we had plenty of room. Lovely welcome pack when we arrived, everything was spotless. Bedrooms were very comfortable and bathrooms were spacious and the shower and jacuzzi bath are amazing. Food in the club house was good quality and value. Kids loved the evening entertainment with Steve. Cannot say a bad word about the lodge or the place. Central location with supermarkets, beachs and plenty of places to visit within a short drive. The chalet is well equipped and immaculately presented.

It is set in lovely countryside and easily accessible from the A30 through Cornwall. Its location makes it easy to explore both the north and south coasts of Cornwall.

This lodge was fantastic.

A great location with quick access to all of Cornwall. Smart, clean and well equiped. Great communication ahead of time too. Would happily recommend and may well repeat ourselves.

The A frame home was just perfect.

We were so surprised on entering the lodge, to see just how spacious and welcoming it is.

Comfortable sofas, beds and lovely bathrooms. The facilities were great for our self catering. Waterside staff were very friendly and helpful, the fishing on the Woodland Lake was great. A great base and location for touring both the north and south coasts, the highlights being Trevone, the Eden Project and most of all Screech Owl Sanctuary. We will be back next year with my folks.

Had a wonderful holiday in Cornwall.

The A Frame home was just perfect for our family of five. It was clean and well equipped and the big bathrooms were a great surprise. We had amazing weather so the outdoor space was great for the kids to play on. The Waterside complex was above our expectations - modern, friendly staff, good food, warm pool, lakeside terrace and great kids play area.

The lovely warm indoor pool was good bad weather activity. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Perfect.

The lodge was amazing, staff at the site in particular Amber were lovely and very helpful and the owners of the cottage were very helpful.
