The property

187 Atlantic Bays sits on the Atlantic Bays Holiday Park in Padstow, Cornwall, offering a single storey retreat close to the sweeping drama of the Trevose Head Heritage Coast and providing an inviting base for families and friends.

On arrival, you can leave the car, step out into the calm of this Cornish setting and feel the open skies and gentle coastal breeze ease you into holiday mode before you reach the door.

Inside, the open plan layout draws you through each space at a relaxed pace, beginning in the kitchen where you can put the kettle on and settle into the rhythm of self catering life, moving on to the dining area for simple shared meals and onward to the sitting area where you can unwind after time spent exploring the coast.

As you make your way to the bedrooms, it is easy to picture children choosing their bunks while the double room offers a peaceful place to retreat, and the bathroom invites you to enjoy a warm soak after days out in the salt air or refresh in the overhead shower before heading back out.

Stepping outside again, the holiday park offers room to wander before you venture further, with a friendly pub within a comfortable reach and a local shop sitting a straightforward journey away for essentials.

When you’re ready to venture out, Padstow lends itself effortlessly to unhurried days of discovery.

The harbour draws you in first, with working boats rising and falling on the tide and the aroma of freshly landed seafood drifting along the waterfront.

Exploring the town’s winding streets uncovers a mix of independent galleries, boutiques and cafés set within characterful old buildings, each encouraging you to take things slowly.

From here, the landscape stretches out towards the Trevose Head Heritage Coast, where bold cliffs meet expansive skies and coastal paths follow a shoreline that shifts with the light.

Whether you’re lingering over a harbour-side meal, pausing to watch the water or heading out on a revitalising coastal walk, Padstow brings together atmosphere, flavour and scenery in easy reach.

With its simple comfort and well-placed location for discovering the Cornish coast and nearby towns, 187 Atlantic Bays offers a relaxed base for time spent together.
