Description

Lamorna is a beautifully crafted, single-storey lodge set within a peaceful park in the coastal village of Sennen.

Designed with style in mind, this wooden-clad retreat offers a warm and authentic feel throughout, making it a wonderful choice for families or friends seeking a chilled break in Cornwall.

Step inside to discover a thoughtfully laid-out open-plan living space, where natural textures and soft lighting create a welcoming atmosphere.

The sitting area is furnished with a selection of inviting armchairs, almost asking you to unwind beside the gentle glow of the mock wood-burning electric fire.

A Smart TV provides entertainment for quiet evenings in, while the dining table offers the perfect spot to gather for meals, games or planning the day’s adventures.

The kitchen is well-equipped with sleek appliances, including an air fryer and washing machine, ensuring all your self-catering needs are met with ease.

Outside, the enclosed decking area is a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink, with outdoor furniture provided for alfresco dining when the sun is beaming down.

After settling in, take a refreshing dip in the shared on-site swimming pool or let little ones burn off some energy at the children’s play area.

When it is time to get your head down, two tasteful bedrooms provide a peaceful end to each day, comprising a double with a private en-suite shower room, and a twin ideal for children or friends.

A separate family bathroom with a bath and handheld shower offers a space to refresh and recharge in the mornings ahead of another day of holiday adventure.

Discover the beauty of Cornwall with adventures across Land’s End, Porthcurno and Penzance.

Wander the amazing clifftop trails at Land’s End, where the Atlantic stretches endlessly beyond the rugged coastline, visit the iconic Landmark attraction, and watch the sun set in a blaze of colour over the sea.

In nearby Porthcurno, spend the day on its powdery white sands, take in a performance at the world-famous Minack Theatre carved into the cliffs, or explore the fascinating Telegraph Museum that tells the story of global communication.

A short journey away, Penzance awaits with the elegant Penlee House Gallery & Museum, the subtropical Morrab Gardens, and the enchanting tidal causeway leading to St Michael’s Mount, a sight that captures the very essence of Cornwall’s coastal charm.

Whether you’re looking to explore the coast or spend quality time with loved ones whilst exploring the heart of Cornwall, book Lamorna now.

We had a wonderful time staying at Lamorna.

The location was excellent, the children aged 15 and 11, enjoyed the facilities at the site. The lodge was well kept and thoughtful decorated. Super facilities in the kitchen. We would certainly book again in the future.

.

To be fair and transparent I want to start with the plus points. Fabulous location ( walking distance to lands end and Sennen beach) on a very small quiet park which I prefer. The kids play area was new. Cute little bar and cafe onsite. A mini pool which was great for family fun. The property also appears to have recently been partially renovated/ redecorated. Great new wardrobe space. 2 bathrooms which is great when you have kids. Air fryer in kitchen was a great kitchen addition. However there were a few issues that I think the property could improve.. the lounge has old wicker conservatory sofas which was not comfortable if you want to chill in the evening. The WIFI was terrible ( not great if you have kids who want to stay connected) and we struggled to get normal TV without connecting to our mobile data. When I raised this with the owner they were dismissive of the issue. I was advised to switch on and off which did not work. The lodge is also very close to the site bins which are not enclosed. We had a lot of flys when the windows were open which was essential due to the hot weather. This was also the experience of the caravan close to us. The beds in the second bedroom need replacing. Very old sunken mattresses. Overall had a lovely time. Just a few things to consider before booking.
