Summer Breeze

Summer beeeze was like home from home, we settled in like it was ours, amazing welcome basket, lovely little treats on the bedroom pillows, everything you need in a holiday home

3rd time I have stayed here and I have already booked same property for next year.

Property was spotless on arrival and clean throughout. Well equipped property and an ideal location for a peaceful holiday. Good to see the fence and bench replaced that were broken last year and garden was well maintained. The sensor light in the hallway was a nice touch. It did go flat whilst we were there but I plugged it into the phone charger to charge up and it was ok after that. The microwave could do with replacing as it is rusty inside. I put the rubbish out as requested but the bins were not emptied. Apart from this a very enjoyable stay despite the bad weather and I am looking forward to next year.

We stay here every year, and each stay is as good as the previous one. Fantastic property, with everything you need. Each stay feels like home. Highly recommended property for anyone wanting an amazing holiday. THANK YOU for a lovely holiday :-)

May be an outside recycling area rather than moving car to get to garage.

We have just come back from being down at summer breeze.

Overall was a great stay just a few things that need to be addressed. The shop on site is permanently closed and has been for a while. which isn’t helpful as it said in the description there was a shop. Broken fence panel and a broken bench in garden and the seating in the garden wasn’t ideally so we couldn’t seat in the garden. The middle step is loose on the way to the front door and the family bathroom toilet is so noisy it wasn’t great overnight. But location was great and made a great base for the week

Spacious and comfortable.

We stayed at this property last year and although there is a big improvement on the garden it was sadly let down by the broken fence and bench in the back garden. Apart from this it was perfect for us to enjoy a relaxed 2 weeks stay.

Really pleased with our stay, other reviews stated about the lack of of a shower in main bathroom and a dishwasher, yes they would be a good addition to the property but we got on fine, just a matter of timing for the 5 of us.

Property is situated on a lovely peaceful site, and within easy reach of many beaches and towns. Was just a bit confused with the refuse collection, there was a full bin when we arrived, and we also filled the second bin by the time we left, put both bins out on Wednesday Evening, but no collection, should we have put all black sacks out in the road?

Had a lovely week's stay in Summer Breeze, very clean internally, homely decorated with some nice touches such as tea, coffee and biscuits supplied for arrival and the darts board set up in the garage.

The only negative comment I can supply is the garden was a bit of a mess with broken fencing stacked against the dividing hedge and a collapsed bench which would have been a bit of a safety hazard for children playing there. Oh! and the seagulls which pepper the property and the windows with excrement on a daily basis scavenging for rubbish, not that anyone can do much about that.

very nice holiday would book again if we didn't have a pet, the cottage was very clean and homely, you need to get rid of that wine cooler and replace with dishwasher we washed the dishes when we moved in just to be safe and the wine cooler was dirty big fridge ample room for wine apart from that we loved the place w wish you good luck Mr R Heath.

Fantastic property.

We stayed here a couple of years ago, and we had a lovely stay then too. Perfect family home, in a perfect location. Hopefully we are able to book again for next year. Thank you for a beautiful holiday x The Cooksons

Third time staying here and will not be the last.

Great bungalow with everything we require. The location is very good for visiting local beaches or only 10 minutes from Padstow.

Lovely place.

Very spacious, well spec'd and immaculately clean and all at a good price. We'd stay there again.

Lovely little house in a pleasant area of Cornwall.

We were 5 mature adults , which were the max this house could take. However it only had 4 dining chairs , so we couldn’t sit and eat breakfast or dinner together, which was a bit upsetting. The kitchen was well equipped , but we felt it lacked a dishwasher , it had a wine chiller where the dishwasher could have been installed instead. Lovely new carpets and nice decor.

Only minor niggles such as needs a dropped kerb at front to make parking easier, and fan, it was very warm even with all windows open.

Had a lovely stay had everything we needed the garden was looking a little neglected but we still sat out in the evening with a drink.

tge shower also kept cutting out 1 day but then was fine the rest of the time we had a lovely stay great accommodation and location woukd recommended

Very well equipped holiday home everything you would need is supplied.

Excellent condition you can tell as soon as you walk in the property has had new carpets and flooring fitted and has had a lot time and money spent to bring it to the standard it is now. Excellent location for exploring Cornwall. The only thing that let this property down was the garden areas being overgrown. Not a deal breaker for me though and I have already booked this property for 2 weeks next year. Enjoyed our stay

A large, comfortable bungalow with no parking issues.

Disappointed that the patio furniture was not as photo. Had to contact the owner re bathroom lighting fault. Great location for driving, or cycling, to several beaches.

My family and I had a very pleasant holiday at Summer Breeze.

The chalet was extremely well equipped, had plenty of furniture and a very well appointed kitchen. However, I would highly recommend you have a serious chat with the cleaning company. There are very dirty areas in the chalet. Kitchen floor was filthy, carpets throughout dirty and stained, ensuite shower filthy and mouldy and the skirting boards are disgraceful. Looking at guest comments and reviews, this has been mentioned before. Why, then, is the cleanliness still a serious problem? I noticed grained in dirt around the basin plug hole in the ensuite so took a scouring sponge to it. It was gleaming in under a minute. It's not acceptable and I'm sure the owners should know. If not, please alert them.

Had a lovely two weeks at Summer Breeze.

Accommodation spacious and very comfortable. Felt very much at home. Found the beds really comfortable and loved the en suite and walk in wardrobe. Wine chiller was a good idea but did miss a dishwasher. I was surprised at how heavily stained the carpet was throughout. Overall, I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

Absolutely superb bungalow, home from home so comfortable we were so so pleased with our stay in the perfect location.

We were even greeted with Milk Teabags and Shortbread (all Cornish) highly recommend and we will be back, we all said we would quite happily live there

We had a lovely week in Summer breeze.

It was cosy clean and well equipped. A couple of issues that were personal choice the beds were too soft and the pillows too hard but that would be ok for other guests . We were 2 couples late 60s early 70s who love walking but found the walk to the village too dangerous so had too drive. Ideal spot to visit the area. Garden needed some attention which we weeded as this is something we enjoy. It did take us a while to find the recycling bags in the garage and enjoyed the dart board once in. Overall a lovely place to stay but being early season the on site shop was hit and miss. A lovely time was had by all

Unfortunately this property requires a serious deep clean, when packing up to come home found last guests items is bedside cupboard (we left these on dining table as proof).

Also in same room bedside cupboard in wardrobe when moved it was filthy underneath in cupboard. Skirtboards all very dirty, on suite shower lip was dirty and had mould inside. On suite bedroom window incorrectly fitted, gardens not maintained. 20mph speed limit not adhered to by contractors.. not safe for children anywhere near roads. We enjoyed our stay just a shame on the above mentioned issues.

Lovely property, was perfect for our family stay, well equipped, comfortable and close for exploring the local areas.

Location and property was good , and well equipped, The only thing we found was mold in shower and around some windows and the dining room carpet was very stained.

which was a shame because it was a comfortable place.

We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back.

Just one thing a fence to secure part of the garden would have been brilliant so we could just open the back door and not have to worry about the dog getting out.

Beautiful property, steps outside weren’t great for my disabled mother in law.

A rail would be a great help. Also the beds inside were quite tired. The actual property was lovely though. The outside definitely needs updating as it’s falling apart and there were mice.

Very spacious and extremely well equipped lodge, let down by single room only having a thin blind (no curtains) and bring next to useless once it got light.

Same really with the curtains in the other bedrooms, far too thin for a proper night's sleep. Patio area totally overgrown with weeds.

The cottage was lovely Very well equipped A proper ‘home from home’ Ideally situated close to lots of lovely beaches so not long drives to new locations Nice touches like tea, milk and biscuits waiting for us on arrival plus having the beds made

Wonderful property , toilet in bathroom very noisy , sounds like a character from Star Wars movies , loved the dartboard in the garage , I replaced the stems on the darts as I managed to break them when playing .

We have stayed in several properties on St Merryn Holiday Park over the years and Summer Breeze is one of the best.

Very clean, warm and comfortable. We have already booked this property again to come down later in the year :-)

I loved this park home, it was spacious , clean and perfect position to explore .

It is well equipped, with a bed that was comfy . I had the worst of weathers but it was warm and cosy . I will be looking to return, hopefully when the weather is better .

The accommodation was lovely and tidy , had everything you might need.

Bed was very comfy . Place was warm and inviting.

Property seemed comfortable but dated.

On arrival, we were dismayed to find the outside grounds neglected and full of weeds . Further more, dogs were supposed to be welcome, but the garden was not secure so this was not the case . Internally, the fridge freezer was filthy on the top, the cooker hood was very We shall not book there again. greasy, the skirting boards ( as mentioned by a previous guest, ) still hadn't been cleaned, the inside of the pedal bin in the kitchen was very dirty - obvious once the liner was removed ! In this day of covid etc , it is SO important that everything should be spotless . In all honesty, we could never say that this was the case at Summer Breeze. Overall , we were very disappointed and amazed at the owner's instructions for us to keep clean. re: signs everywhere .We shall not be booking there again.

My wife and I also live in a residential park home very similar to "Summer Breeze" so it was like living home from home.

The property was very clean and also had ample facilities. Although the restaurant on site was closed, we found a very nice pub to eat in St Merryn called "The Farmers Arms". Padstow was only 2 miles away and other places of interest were only a short drive away. Port Issac is very pretty, but only for the "fit".I spoke to Scott the owner of Summer Breeze and he was most helpful to assist us when required. I would highly recommend this property.

Bed is to small in single room for adult

Had a lovely stay at summer breeze it was clean and comfortable I would stay there again it wasn’t the best I’ve stayed in and there is some room for improvement in a number or areas but saying that the park it’s sited on was exactly what I require clean and tidy and not full of the norm you get at some parks

some of the cooking pans could do with replacing getting very worn and the garden could do with weeding to make it look a lot tidier but on the whole the lodge itself was very comfortable and was in easy reach of many of the cornish attractions.

I would visit here again.
