“Squirrel’s Nest was a true delight!”

!! Everything about the lodge was cosy, comforting and perfectly idyllic. We stayed for 2 nights as a “mini-moon” a couple of days after our wedding, we booked very last minute but everything was accepted smoothly. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working, but we’ve been compensated for this. There’s plenty to do around the area but you can also stay in the lodge and create your own entertainment! I have been raving about our stay to family and friends since as we really loved ...

I have been raving about our stay to family and friends since as we really loved our stay! But if there is anything that I would like to improve upon it would be firstly to have some form of welcome pack in the lodge, with info on what’s going on, where we can eat, things to do etc. and also to secure the gardens more, this would make it even more dog friendly!!! It would have been lovely to let our pup off his lead so he could be free to run about, but the gardens aren’t fully secure so we had to keep him on a lead at all times. It’s not a huge problem but a secure garden would make this even better than it already is! Regardless, we will be coming back for sure!!!!!
