Lovely little pod comfy and cozy, has everything needed for a short stay.

Underfloor heating made tge pod very toasty. Was looking for a pod with electric hot tub as wood fired take time and effort. The fact that the owners light this for you was what made us decide to stay, was a great added bonus. Being picky a few cobwebs above bed but was easy sorted and bathroom has a little damp. Great midway location for Gloucester and Bristol. Pod is about 1/4mile down Riddle street for those coming in the dark can be a little hard you find at first

The pod was comfortable and clean- the bathroom was clean but the shower cubicle a little worn.

Compact kitchen area with everything needed and a BBQ outside. The wood fired hot tub was lovely and ready for use each evening and the setting was very quiet and peaceful.

Lovely hot tub and cozy modern cabin, the owners went out their way to keep the hot tub filled up with logs whilst we were away during the days.

Our stay at Halmore Pod was simply amazing.

It felt like a mini home away from home but with a little added luxury with the hot tub and the quiet countryside. The pod itself was a perfect size and had so much to it - it was almost like stepping into the Tardis! It was very welcoming, tidy and clean when we first arrive. The outside area was also a wonderful size and had so much option to sit and relax or to have a dip in the hot tub. The location was lovely for a getaway from the craziness of life. We found it quite easily, even in the darkness. There was this beautiful peacefulness every day - it was bliss. The owners are also very lovely and great with communication. It was pleasant talking to them before and after the stay - thankfully we didn’t need anything during the stay as everything was perfect and the hot tub was lit every day at 4PM without fail. I would definitely recommend this. We look forward to coming back during summer time to enjoy the pod even more (without the stormy weather)! :)

Lovely stay, bit difficult to find in the dark and could probably do with a few little things ie hand soap, washing up liquid, scissors etc, but would recommend and would definitely stay again the hot tub is amazing

It is a really nice glamping pod with a barbecue and hot tub.

We enjoyed the stay very much and my kids loved the place. It would be good if you can update the exact location in the map as we struggled to find the place as we reached bit late there. The marked location in the map is bit far from the exact location. But the host was really kind and picked up the phone in late night to help us to find the place.

We really enjoyed staying here and even looked at booking extra however was already fully booked.

It’s very peaceful and remote and family friendly. The only thing we’d suggest is maybe adding a lamp inside the pod so it’s not either big light or no light, and maybe add a few extra lights around the garden as it was pitch black on the night so you couldn’t see anything you were doing. We also assumed the hot tub was of use all day however it was lit at 4pm, but when we asked they did come and light it earlier for us which we really appreciate. We will be coming back here

Our stay in Halmore Pod was really nice, surrounded by lovely countryside.

There are so many days out nearby, and beautiful walks in nature that we weren’t sure 5 days was going to be enough to see it all. The wood burning hot tub was a nice little novelty to add to our evenings, and watching the birds come in and out of the trees above was quite nice. The only downside was the WiFi connection was low, we had to make sure to use one device at a time and turn off any background apps, just to attempt to load the weather on google, and signal for both my partner and I was also awkward. Also there seemed to be forever growing spiderwebs but when you’re in an outdoorsy pod under a tree it’s to be expected.

We very much enjoyed our stay at halmore pod, the area was lovely and clean, bbq, hot tub lit for us every night.

The only bit of feedback i would give is a bigger bin however other than that I definitely recommend anyone to stay at halmore pod! Thanks for a lovely stay x

Traffic.

Started at 5.37am up to 11pm No meet & greet No instructions. TV, combi/oven, BBQ No local info - eateries, supermarkets, days out/things to do etc Noise - Kids nearby, houses, dogs, traffic Hot tub too hot for us. Wi-fi dropped a lot TV too small Couldn't open windows or doors - smoke smell, roaming cat & a rat too! Clean & tidy pod Mattress & pillows comfy Enclosed with a nice garden

I booked this for my partner's birthday as a surprise and we both loved it!

Lots to do in the surrounding area if you don't mind a drive, a lot better views than where we're from! The owner was really nice and responsive to anything we asked, would absolutely book again.

We had such a great stay, everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Hot tub was lit every day and the owners even went above and beyond to put extra logs to make it warmer. Only thing i would mention is there was no hot water the whole time we was there, but this wasnt a big minus for us.

We had a nice stay but the bed was uncomfortable and the shower was broken so it was hot or hotter.

We loved the underfloor heating though and although it was a very cold week, we weren't cold in the pod at all. Location was good, it was quiet and the hot tub was heated every day for us. Could do with supplying a frying pan and bread knife

Nice and clean when we arrived, the hot tub was lit for us every evening.

Could do with some more lighting round by the hot tub area for this time of year as it was a bit dark. I would definitely book again and recommend to family and friends.

Lovely little pod, very peaceful and private.

Hot tub was lit on arrival and was lit for us each day we was there. Wood used to fuel the hot tub included in the price. Would recommend taking a frying pan as only saucepan’s available at the pod. Ladies don’t take to long washing your hair in the shower as youl leave the rest of the family with no hot water

We had a nice stay in Halmore Pod, however just a couple of things to point out.

From our point of view the shower room needs some attention as there is a terrible smell of dampness. The bed is no good for anyone of limited ability as you can't access it easily. The tv is badly placed for viewing. However it is a nice quiet location and Bath and Gloucester are within easy reach by car, as well as some lovely places in the Cotswolds. The hot tub was a great facility to relax in after a day out.

We had a lovely time, it was so peaceful and out of the way of everyone.

Loved having the fire pit and hot tub which we used daily. Would definitely recommend people to book here.

Amazing weekend stay at this beautiful pod in a stunning location.

Completely private with lovely garden and patio area and fantastic wood fired hot tub. Owners incredibly helpful and friendly. A real find will definitely be booking again.

The pod was lovely.

Just a few things that could be done. The hot tub is only lit once a day but could really be done twice to keep it warm. Maybe put a sweeping brush in the pod so you don’t have to get on hands and knees to sweep the floor. Also the hot water ran out mid way through shower so only the first person in the shower would have a warm shower.

Lovely place to stay, really enjoyed our weekend away, lovely pubs nearby and walks to do.

Was lovely to come back in the afternoon/evening to the hot tub lit for us which was nice. However little problem with a neighbouring cat, was a lovely friendly cat however likes to jump through the window behind the bed at night time. Would suggest maybe mentioning on the website just in case people are allergic to cats. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 5 days and we loved coming back to the pod to relax.

It’s a short drive to Bristol and Gloucester and the hot tub is heated for you every night of your stay which was a huge plus. Clean, elegant and just what we needed to get out into the countryside away from busy lives! Would definitely recommend.

Very enjoyable stay , hot tub was lovely and warm , pod was adequate for our needs .

Ticked 4 stars for comfort as the heating was at quite a high temperature during early hours , otherwise would recommend and would return .

Would highly recommend staying here and look forward to booking again for the summer.

Only comments to make would be that it would of been nice to have a lamp there for the evening instead of having the main lights on constantly. Think a dimmer like would make it more comfortable.

Fantastic weekend away, pod is compact but not too small or cramped as you might suspect, very comfortable and cosy, bed was nice and soft allowing a good night's sleep, there's under floor heating which was a great touch, and just about everything you'll need for cooking etc.

The shower was a tight fit but gets the job done, and of course the hot tub was the highlight, pre-heated for us every day while we were out ready for when we returned, we loved it, HIGHLY recommended! Many thanks to the owners.

The pod was amazingly beautiful and private great place for me and my family.

had such a great time so relaxing and peaceful hot tub and night-time fire to relax under the stars. the owner is polight and he comes out at 4pm to set up the hot tub so you don't have to its very kind of them. Plenty of things to do and see such a beautiful place would definitely stay again.

We loved the cosines of the pod. The hot tub was lit for us every night which was lovely to come back to after a day’s cycling in the Forest of Dean. The komado out door oven was brilliant cooking outside with the scenery we had was unreal. It was quiet every night for us to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful time away from our busy working lives. The surrounding area was beautiful. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend friends to book this pod.

Beautiful pod in a beautiful place.

Lovely and clean and had everything you need. Hot tub was heated each day for us which was a lovely touch. The bed was firm which isn't to my taste but you're never going to please everyone with one mattress type and honestly it wouldn't stop me from booking there again as everything else was so lovely.

Absolutely amazing accommodation, if it’s peace and tranquillity you’re looking for this is the place.

But saying that you’re only a car drive away from the local town where you can find everything you need. The Wi-Fi on site is very minimal so we did struggle to obtain any internet access. There’s a lovely wood burner hot tub (on a couple of occasions was too hot to use). On site barbecue is a nice touch (would recommend Cam family butcher for your bbq supplies, only 4 miles away. Lovely bbq pack for £10). Also would recommend a visit to the ships graveyard in Purton which is only a couple of miles away.

Ideal for older couples, no phone signal and Wi-Fi was non existent, internet tv but Facebook/Disney + would not load, kept saying connection errror, I run my own business so even when I’m away I can’t turn my phone off and having no signal/Wi-Fi was detrimental

We stayed at the pod for a week and it was lovely, the surrounding area is beautiful and the size of the garden for the pod is amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, the BBQ and the Pod. We would defiantly would book to stay there again!!

We had a lovely stay here it was quite relaxing and had everything we need.

There was a few cobwebs we seen and dust so I think the skirten board and ect needs to be cleaned better. I think they should have under its bed draws where you could store your clothes as space is tight in the pod. There was alot of garden space bbq hot tub and firepit. I don't think there was enough coal/wood for two nights thought and I think the garden needed some TLC maybe more flowers ect to brighten it up a little. But part from that it was a great stay definitely will be booking halmore pod again! Thank you so much *5

Overall pretty good, hot tub didn’t really feel like a hot tub to me and my partner due to it being wood fired so no jets that’s just our personal preference and we didn’t do our research before hand!

, out door lighting definitely could do with looking into due to what seemed the main light near the hot tub wasn’t working all through the stay, inside the pod couldn’t fault it, maybe add a standard electric kettle which would be easier. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would recommend.

Really clean, and loved the privacy! It had amazing facilities and really lovely extra touches, such as hot tub lit everyday at 4, and all the utensils and extras we needed were provided.

A quiet and relaxing retreat but plenty of local places to visit.

This pod has everything you need!

From the hot tub to the bbq, to the great sized fridge and hobs. It was clean and the wood fired hot tub had been set up for when we arrived. Sarah the host is so lovely and even went to light the hot tub whilst we were out. Easy to find and private for a great break away. Half an hour walk to a pub called the Salmon in which did lovely food and were super friendly.

Sarah is a brilliant host, 5 star!

! Nothing was too much trouble. She was so friendly from the first day, lighting the hot tub and telling us where to shop locally. The information in the pod about places to visit was really helpful, Berkeley Castle is a great place to visit. The pod itself is perfect for a mini-break. It is compact but has everything you need. This was our first stay in a pod and once we had climatised to the space and surroundings we really enjoyed it. I would recommend this holiday home to anyone!

Bought this for my sons 50th a few days away so he and my daughter in law could chill after work being hectic.

They were over the moon with it had a few days there and lived every minute. They even had a birthday treat from the owners waiting for them. Very clean comfortable hot tub fantastic. They are planning on going again soon.

Loved our weekend stay here, pod was comfortable, cosy and well equipped with everything you need.

Beautifully clean and tidy, we loved the peaceful surroundings and being able to eat outside on an evening. Friendly owners made us feel very welcome too!

The pod is located too close to other houses and right next to a road there is a camera pointing at you at all times the bed is that soft you feel the slats you can’t have a shower and heat the pod

Wonderful pod, private & clean & in a great location to explore the cotswolds.

Our host Sarah went above & beyond ensuring the hot tub was warmed up for us for our arrival & even went as far as to leave some Christmas gifts for my children which was a lovely touch. Facilities were great with a stocked kitchenette, shower room, WiFi & a TV with Netflix & prime video. The only thing I would recommend would be the inclusion of a toaster in the kitchenette.

More than what we were expecting, we had an absolutely lovely 3 night break and will definitely be coming back down soon!

This was my first time doing something like this and I absolutely loved it!

Sarah went above and beyond for myself and my partner and always kept us updated! We stayed for 2 nights and loved every minute of it! Will definitely be coming back to visit again!

Super cosy luxurious camping pod.

Set in a delightful rural location, yet handy for road links to the surrounding area. The pod is surprisingly spacious inside, extremely comfortable for 2 people to share. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an above average clamping experience.

My husband and I had a lovely We/end in Halford Pod, never been in one before so hence our interest, as a older generation of a couple in one , we found it comfortable and very clean but wouldn’t spend a week in one !

But found A few days is enough! The surroundings were so lovely and quiet and Tidy ! owners very welcoming Too ! Added all up ! Yes go for it if you can climb into Bed easy

The Pod was what we expected, with limited space, the facilities were good and the garden area was lovely, relaxed and secluded.

My one criticism was rubbish disposal. There was one bin and nowhere apart from an odd shelf to place recycling. This was a minor issue but perhaps a recycling bin could be obtained. All in all the holiday was great, the owner at hand and I have already recommended the pod to friends. A perfect getaway during the pandemic.
