Had a wonderful stay.

The property was clean, tidy, and had stunning views. Everything was well looked after and made for a very relaxing holiday. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

We absolutely loved our short break staying in Leaden View Oak.

The ‘lodge’ was perfect for 2 old friends meeting up to chatter 4 days away over wine and dinner. The accommodation was small, but perfect for 2. Our only observation was that hooks on the back of doors for coats/towels etc would have been brilliant, as would somewhere to put wet walking boots etc. Also a slimline dishwasher would have saved washing-up (which is a personal gripe). A salad bowl and potato peeler were, for us, the only things missing. However, we had such a lovely time and really felt we were on holiday. The views and beautiful horses were stunning in equal measure.

A very relaxing stay accommodation was very cosy with everything you need.

The location is beautiful with views across open fields. Such lovely weather so we enjoyed sitting on the patio admiring the views. Thank you for a lovely stay we will certainly return again in the future.

A lovely short break.

The accommodation had everything we needed. The clear night skies were a bonus. The views from the patio and the peaceful surroundings were amazing. We will definitely return. Completely dog friendly. Christine, granddaughter Sienna and cockapoo Brody.

Situated in a beautiful, peaceful setting with superb views. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and fresh and very comfortable. From booking until leaving we couldn’t fault the service. We hope to be back in the area in the future and would definitely book again. We are already recommending it to friends and family!

We had a great stay at Leadon View Oak for a quiet getaway in the countryside.

The biggest feature is the quiet location, with a great view (particularly of the horses in the nearby field). We observed that this would be dog-friendly with lots of facilities and a great space for well-behaved pets. The owner was very responsive to any queries we had before and during our stay.

Nice and cozy. It was nice amd safe for the children. They had a box of outdoor toys for the kids to play. The couple were really welcoming. They left us nice lot of biscuits,tea , milk and hotchocolate.

We chose Leadon View because it fitted our three must-haves …single storey, walk in shower and two bedrooms.

The lodge is obviously very new and all fixtures and fittings of the highest quality. The beds are very comfortable and the heating/hot water excellent. Laura was very helpful and communicated very well. We can recommend the two nearby garden centres for lunchtime food. The setting is beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing the horses in the adjoining fields. If we holiday in Gloucestershire again we would definitely stay at Leadon View again. Thanks Laura for the welcome pack and the carton of milk.

It was truly amazing.

...a beautiful lodge with the most stunning view....everything was kept immaculate...watching the horses was lovely....only thing we missed was a microwave....but as we took a bbq we didn't use oven once....absolutely loved our week there....owners always there to help.......

Our pod Oak, was beautiful, just right for 2 girl friends to spend a couple of days away from it all.

Fabulous views, peaceful, everything we needed including a little welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, jam, and milk. The pod was lovely and clean and lovely size bedrooms and bathroom. I would visit again, so many things to see a short drive away.

The little welcome pack and milk were really appreciate and was a lovely touch. The place was done to a really high spec and we felt very comfortable throughout the stay. We’d 100% recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future

Excellent outlook and a very clean modern accommodation i would highly recommend for two / three people but tight for 4 an additional armchair would be perfect it was really enjoyable stay here

This short break was perfect for us, just what was needed.

We have just had a 4 night stay at Leadon View Oak and it was lovely and we would highly recommend it.

Beautiful peaceful location with amazing views. The Lodge has everything you could need during your stay. We stayed with our dog, who also loved it! A secure field and dog bin makes dog care easy. Bed very comfy. Much more space inside than we'd imagined from the photos. We have had a great time and would love to come back again to explore more of the area (we unfortunately stayed during the heatwave with a dog so limited on exploring, but what we saw we'd like to come back for more). 10/10. The only thing we would have liked (maybe we are just nosey!) but a visitor book to see other people's recommendations for the area so help us.

Stunning pod in a tranquil location with uninterrupted views of hills and horses.

Things which could be improved: signposting and directions are from Gloucester direction only, so we drove right past it, coming from the North! There is a toaster hidden in a cupboard, but as it's not listed, we didn't bring anything to toast :-) In direct sun and gets very hot - it was 35 degrees inside on arrival; owner could keep curtains closed and maybe provide a fan.

This was an amazing holiday home.

There was a welcoming message from the owners with a goodie tray and a pint of milk left in the fridge. The place was spotless, extremely comfortable and the views and location stunning. We had a problem that was attended to immediately and made us feel valued as customers. Will certainly be going again - in fact booked in for October 2026!!!!!

Modern and spacious lodge set in a beautiful rural location.

Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Location is also only a short drive from the Forest of Dean, Malvern Hills, Wye Valley and Gloucester, making it perfect for exploring these areas. We would certainly recommend.

We had a wonderful week staying at this beautiful property which is in a beautiful location.

The property was more spacious than I was expecting and the photos online did not do it justice. The views are beautiful and my daughter loved the horses in the neighbouring fields. Our dog loved his stay too! He even had a welcome pack of chews on arrival. The property was clean and of a high spec. The owners were lovely. Lots to do locally. The locals are friendly, chatty and the pace of life is much slower than home, so our batteries feel fully recharged. We are looking at possible dates to book again.

Superb setting, very quiet and secluded but close to local amenities.
