Pennylands Willow Lodge

A lovely property in a lovely location.

Owners were very welcoming and friendly. Offered help and support as my husband is disabled Comfortable and cosy with great views and wildlife to enjoy.

The lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 4 adults and our dog.

It was immaculately presented and superbly well stocked with all necessary equipment and all the extras were very generous. We all felt extremely relaxed in the spacious accommodation and the outlook from the light flooded lounge totally enhanced our stay. Lovely en suite bedrooms with exceptionally comfortable beds further enhanced our stay. The welcome from the owners was first class and we always felt that if we needed any assistance during the week that they would not hesitate to help us. We recommend the lodge, and its position in relation to Broadway, without any reservations whatsoever! Many thanks indeed! Ian

Lovely home from home lodge within easy walking distance to Broadway.

Ideal location to explore the Cotswolds. Lodge had everything you could need, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Superb views and lovely grounds. Host Judi was welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

An excellent stay , superb accommodation , host were really helpful in all ways , 10 out of 10 , would highly recommend, we are looking to revisit next year .

The Lodge had everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. In a perfect place for visiting all the lovely villages near by.

The accommodation was lovely.

It was really clean and very well appointed. The owners were super helpful. The views were lovely too so sitting out on the verander in the mornings was a pleasure. It's also in easy distance of the village too. The only slight problem we had was finding the place. The sat nav takes you to the road the other side of the property where there is no entrance. Use the instructions from the site about counting 8 houses down from the rounderbout!

A lovely place to spend your holiday, close to the most charming village in the Cotswolds (Broadway).

Great contact with our hosts and a lovely holiday home with endless views and lots of privacy. Everything was fine! Maybe one point of attention: we would have liked it if the TV had been SMART.

Could not fault our lodge, lovely hosts and very comfortable with everything you need at hand, amazing views across the countryside and just a short 10 minutes walk into the pretty town of Broadway, will definitely be going back.

Our hosts had great knowledge of the area with some lovely suggested walks, this gave our break that special personal touch.

Owners very friendly and welcoming. Lodge really clean and very well equipped. It’s in lovely surroundings, views are stunning.

This property in a peaceful setting has everything you could possibly need, including welcome biscuits after our long journey and one for the dog.

Even spare poop bags. Such well stocked kitchen cupboards full of crockery for every eventuality -having guests for afternoon tea or cooking a casserole for dinner. A comfortable lounge/dining are with windows looking right across to the hills. A great open space for our dog to run and sniff out rabbits if she wished. Large bathroom and very comfortable bed. So convenient for Broadway itself. Walkable and great location for exploring further afield. We hope to return.

We had a fabulous week in Willow Lodge.

Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome on arrival, exceptional cleanliness of the accommodation, everything we could possibly need was there, and the views across the countryside were amazing. We will definitely return, it's a credit to the property owners who were helpful but not intrusive - thank you for a lovely week.

A wonderful 6 night stay at Pennylands Willow Lodge.

The idyllic Lodge is perfect for relaxation and is as excellent as it appears in the photos - Light, spacious, immaculately clean and with those wonderful views. Communication with wonderful hosts Judi and Glenn was brilliant, including being warmly greeted on arrival. Comfortable beds, and so handy sensor night lights in the impressive en-suites. Great to stroll in the grounds, which were also ideal for family visiting with their dog. Easy walk to Broadway, with the historic steam railway station on route. We so loved our stay and so hope to return. Thank you so much again.

A great holiday inspite of the not so good weather.

We have holidayed in log cabins in most parts of the country and this is by far the best. Lots of places if for 4 people have 4 pots 4 plates etc,not this one was by far the best with everything and more . than you could possibly need With a large grassed area the dog was delighted

Facilities were excellent, even had an LED movement sensor strip that came on in the loo at nightfall.

The only issue we had was the oven door, which didn't shut properly but the owner is aware and it will be sorted very soon.

Superb property everything you could wish for a great area , very friendly owners who also took the time to not only welcome us but also ensured they said goodbye.

Judi and Glen were very friendly and kind. Parking was good. We had all the equipment needed for an enjoyable holiday with special touches as it was our golden anniversary! Would definitely go back.

A perfect lodge to unwind and relax in the Cotswolds countryside.

The lodge was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the hosts prior to arrival was excellent. They met us on arrival and were very friendly throughout our stay. We loved the view from the veranda and were very grateful to be able to use the grounds for walking our dog. We loved our stay at Pennylands Willow Lodge and we would definitely like to stay there again.

What an amazing find.

Broadway village is on the same road as Pennylands and is literally a mile away which is perfect if you like a tipple or two. Judi and Glen were perfect hosts and have equipped the lodge’s with everything you need. We had a fully English breakfast several days and I made us dinner one evening too. The open plan living made it a joy for me to cook whilst looking at the stunning views. The beds were so comfortable and each bed had firm and soft pillows. There are two fantastic en-suite bathrooms which was brilliant as we were a party of two couples. We had the twin room which made a nice change as my other half fidgets. There were complimentary sachets of hot chocolate and a selection of biscuits waiting for us along with milk, tea, coffee, sugar and several cleaning and bathing products which was very welcomed. In our opinion the lodges are first class and the location is perfect. We ate at the Swan which was delicious. We also tried a chippy tea take away from Russell’s Fish & Chips which was so reasonably priced and actually cheaper than where we live in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield. We would recommend a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton in the Marsh. All in all, a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay with amazing hosts that are on hand and really helpful.

Willow Lodge lodge was all supplied with the facilities needed, the cleanliness was first class. Also very good was the various wellcome packs supplied by Judi, thank you. The large field was a bonus which Sadie the dog enjoyed. All in all Willow Lodge was a terrific stay which we really enjoyed and we would certainly recommend to others. Thank you all once again. We stayed in this beautiful lodge for the August Bank Holiday weekend.

2 couples & a small dog. This place is just gorgeous. We were met by the owners, a lovely couple who were very friendly & welcoming. A lovely touch by the owners of some milk, tea, sugar , coffee & an assortment of biscuits on arrival. The lodge was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfy & the kitchen was well stocked of crockery, saucepans, cutlery etc. The TV as a built-in Dvd & there was plenty of dvds to choose from & books if you fancied a read. Everything was thought of! It was roughly a ten minute walk into the village of Broadway, a beautiful place with shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. We did the walk along the cotswold way upto Broadway Tower where the views are absolutely amazing! This property is wonderful, definitely recommend to our friends & would definitely return in the future.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pennylands Willow lodge.

Judi and Glen warmly welcomed us and gave lots of information about the nearby pubs and eateries. The lodge was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. A plus for our dog was the large area in front that he could run around to his hearts content! The cake, biscuits,sweets and milk were a very nice touch. Highly recommended and situated in a fantastic, quiet spot which was very close to many attractions and well known areas. We will definitely return!

This was our second visit to this lovely lodge.

Owners friendly and close by if required. Facilities and cleanliness in the lodge are excellent. There's a huge garden outside the lodge which was great for exercising our dog. Broadway is about a mile away and easy to walk to with plenty of places to eat and shop for groceries and gifts. Recommend this property and hope to go back again in the future.

Excellent wooden building.

Well fitted out with furniture and kitchen facilities. lovely views with good dog exercise facilities. The owner made us feel very welcome soon after arrival. Difficult to find any negative comments.

An excellent venue for a holiday.

We were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort and also the quiet countryside views from the property, Friendly hosts. We will consider a future visit.

Pennylands Willow Lodge was absolutely lovely.

Very warm welcome from Judi and Glen. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable and there were some nice little touches such as a welcome cake, milk and tea (very useful after our journey) and the dog blanket and towel. Had all the facilities and kitchen utensils needed (although please sharpen the knives!) Grounds were great for the dog although mine was rather inquisitive and a bit of a wanderer so would have liked a more secure gate from the driveway onto the main road, he was trying to venture up the driveway. Would be very happy to stay here again and would highly recommend. Lovely, lovely place.

A little gem in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Exactly as described it was perfectly situated on the edge of Broadway with easy driving to other towns and attractions. The setting is superb and the hosts were most welcoming and helpful. The lodge was perfect for 2 couples with en suites to both rooms, exceptionally clean and well-maintained and fitted out with everything you could possibly need to self cater. Thank you

We had a lovely break at Willow Lodge.

Accommodation is very clean,comfortable, good size for a family of 3 or 4 and has all the expected facilities. Owners friendly and met us when we arrived and checked all was okay during our stay. Property is dog friendly too with huge area of grass right outside the front doors to exercise. The owners had left a dog bowl, towel and some treats too for our four legged friend! Broadway is very picturesque and only 15 mins walk away. Plenty of shops and places to eat and drink and take-aways if required. Some good walks and other sites to visit in the area without having to travel far. Highly recommended and would go back if we get the chance again.

What a find!

!!!…. Have just had the best week in Broadway and the Cotswolds. The lodge is perfect, so nice, clean & very comfy. The hosts are lovely, & really take care of the little things…. Like cakes on arrival, milk in the fridge & teas/coffees supplied for a cuppa, toiletries in the bathroom, tablets & powder for dishwasher & washing machine. The list goes on….. And even supplies for the doggy guests too!!! The garden is amazing, and dog can be off the lead to go exploring. Location perfect too… Short walk to village, and short drives to surrounding villages for days out. All in all a very enjoyable holiday. Thank you

We were welcomed by Judi and Glen who helped with our cases etc.

This is our second holiday at Willow Lodge. It is in such a lovely location with plenty of wildlife in front of the lodge. The lodge is very comfortable and everything has been thought of . We appreciated the cake and fresh flowers….a lovely touch.

There were great views with plenty of wildlife to watch. The owners were very thoughtful providing many little extras that were useful and enhanced our stay.

We were celebrating our Golden Wedding We were met by the hosts who helped us carry our baggage down to the cottage.

My sister in law who had travelled with us has recently had a spinal operation, and was finding walking a challenge. She was assisted down to the cottage. It was December 15th When I walked in the door of the chalet there was a fully decorated Christmas tree and on the dining room table a vase with an arrangement of yellow roses and a card wishing us all the best for the occasion. We had a wonderful stay. The chalet met all our needs. It was clean light warm and convenient. During the week we were able to meet with some of our friends on different days. They had both attended our wedding in Nairobi. One was a bridesmaid. Our son and his family farm nearby and were also able to visit on different occasions. The chalet had double doors that opened out on a veranda. This enabled us to keep to the then restrictions of being able to meet six people outside. We were most impressed by the thought and care that had obviously gone into the arrangement of the chalets. I was able to work on my son's farm during the week. When I returned it was getting dark and the security lights came on and the path down to the chalet door was lit by fairy lights. It was details like this that impressed us. My wife, 2 children and dog spent a lovely weekend at Pennylands - Willow Lodge.

We will be looking to stay here again. The facilities at the lodge and the proximity to the town centre were ideal.

The property was in a beautiful location, very comfortable and well equipped.

Despite the poor weather we were able to relax and enjoyed spending time indoors. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

A fantastic Lodge with everything you could think of inside.

Good location to the Broadway probably a 15 minute walk. Property was so clean. Judi and glen the owner's were fantastic couldn't have been more helpful. There was a pint of milk and a cake waiting for us upon arrival which went a long way. Would definitely go back. Had a great time.

Willow Lodge was perfect for a short break with my 88 year old mother, particularly as it had 2 ensuite bathrooms.

Our lovely hosts were there to greet us and ensure we had everything we needed. The lodge was exceptionally well equipped and very comfortable. I have never stayed anywhere with so many electric sockets and well placed mirrors!

We had a fabulous holiday in the Cotswolds and our accommodation was so comfortable and spacious.

After initially being a little cold (but our stay was in January), the lodge was extremely comfortable, exceptionally clean and the extra touches from the owners made our stay more special.

My time at Pennylands Willow lodge was perfect, exactly what I was hoping for.

A lovely setting, only a ten minute walk into Broadway, a cosy and comfortable cottage, and perfect hosts who were around if I needed them but did not intrude on my peaceful solitude in any way!

Great holiday location.

Fabulous wooden lodge set in large, well kept paddock. The lodge was clean and tidy and the hosts Judi and Glen were there to meet and welcome us warmly. There was cake, tea and milk inside the lodge which was lovely after a long drive. The location is great being only 10 mins walk from the gorgeous village of Broadway. Fully recommend this holiday location.

Absolutely amazing

The lodge is brilliant, has everything you need.

Owners are friendly and happy to help if you need it. If you are taking a dog there is a huge field for them to use, our dog Harvey loved it and was out there every day. Would highly recommend the lodge.

Lots of attention to detail. Good location and nice large lawn & views. Polite, friendly owners. Minor disappointment was the shower that lacked force.

Exceptional property, I thought it was brand new due to how immaculate it was.

Very well supplied with equipment, even had a lunch box for my picnics. I will be returning again. Thank you.

A wonderful chalet within walking distance of Broadway “ The Jewel of the Cotswolds “.

A very comfortable cabin, accomodating two couples and our small dog.

The owner was very welcoming. With Broadway a half hour stroll away, shopping and cafes/restaurants were nicely situated. Broadway itself is a good base to visit many of the Cotswold attractions.

Pennylands Lodge was a fantastic lodge .

It had every facility you needed and more. The couple Glen and Judi were very kind and very pleasant people and could not do enough for you. Our holiday there was very relaxing and a wonderful stay.

The owners were there to welcome us to the site.

In the lodge we found everything you would like after a road trip, including tea and coffee makings a litre of milk and a welcome cake, most welcome after such a hot journey. The view from the deck was looking out across country side views.

Location of the log cabin is superb and is very suitable for dogs which are made very welcome. We cannot fault it in anyway.

The Lodge was very clean with everything you need, it was so cosy and warm to return to after a day out. It has a lovely view with lots of wildlife to watch and the field ideal for our dog. The Lodge is ideally situated just outside Broadway which has a very good supermarket and range of eating places, perfectly positioned for visiting the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. We had a lovely time and highly recommend Pennylands, Willow Lodge.
