Our second visit to Kingfisher cabin.

Loved it as much as the first time. Peaceful beautiful surroundings. Private from the cabin opposite (but the willow will need cutting back as it does block some light from the cabin.)Saw lots of wildlife. Some kindling for the hot tub would be good as we found the wooden lighters dropped through the grate. If you want a place to totally recharge your batteries then this is the place.

Truely perfect and 100% return

This was a little oasis of luxury.

Everything you need is there, maybe a clothes airer could be added for when you need to dry swimsuits form the hot tub but we weren’t really lacking for anything!

The perfect spot for total rest and relaxation.

Loved every thing about it, from the view over the lake, the wildlife, the cabin and the hot tub. Would definitely recommend, and hope to return.

Wonderful retreat!

Beautifully location! Just lovely!!! My partner myself & our puppy dog stayed for a week …… coffee in the morning while watching the ducks float by was an absolute pleasure!!!!! The ONLY not 100% not perfect issue we had was the hot water for the shower - though the pressure is fantastic & the temperature is fab it only lasts for a very short time & if your not repaired for it you could easily end up covered in shampoo with no hot water left (like I did) & then there is a 1/2 hr wait for the water to re-heat ….. alternatively…. Just get in the hot tub!!!!!!

Lovely relaxing break in a good quiet location.

The setting was beautiful. We saw so much wildlife! Warm, cosy cabin with a great hot tub. We had a great stay.

Absolutely stunning location for some compleat rest.

So peaceful. Wonderful communication with owners who went above and beyond to meet my needs for a surprise 50th birthday. Worthy note for visitors, it is in the middle of nowhere. A good 20 minutes drive for a big shop. Local places nearer for essentials. Having said that, it's also convenient for day trips out as it is very central. We visited Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle. My only advice to owner which would have improved our stay, better lighting for the hot tub/BBQ area. BUT we did stay early November. Other than that one of the best holidays we have had. A perfect couples get away. Definitely making plans already to come back.

We've now stayed at all three cabins and all have their pros and cons.

Kingfisher, we thought would be the best but the proximity of a new unit (a caravan?) is a concern. The cabins are absolutely wonderful, the position on a lake is just magical and they are perfectly equipped for two people. Given the cost of the cabins (they are not cheap), asking for additional money for additional logs is unreasonable. If you use the hot tub more than once and it's cold, you will need extra logs. The bathroom does need a better clean, as do the sofas, but everything else seemed clean enough. There are some lovely walks from the cabin and it's easy to get to rugby and Warwick.

Absolutely beautiful scenery.

The environment was so peaceful and relaxing. So lovely to hear all the animals and seeing them too. It is a perfect getaway from busy lifestyles. It really is a fantastic cabin. The added details to match the theme of the cabin were a nice touch. I highly recommend to others. Perfect for nature lovers.

What a lovely peaceful location and a perfect well presented cabin.

My wife and I had a very well needed restful weekend staying in Kingfisher lodge. we both enjoyed some very good fishing catching mainly Rudd and small Carp. I did see a very large Carp swim by my bait but unfortunately it kept swimming. The hot tub very was very good but could do with a handrail as my wife was unable to get in. A suggestion that may be worth thinking about is to add a fishing platform in front of the lodge which from experience can also get used as a roost for water fowl. The Cider and honey supplied on arrival were very nice also. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Fabulous cabin in a beautiful location.

Lots of lovely walks all around. A real little gem in a the heart of the countryside. We would really recommend Kingfisher as a fantastic place to get away from it all.

Found the steps to hot tub too high and no handrail .

Probably people much younger than our own middle 60s bracket wouldn't have an issue with. But a lovely facility to have and lovely private setting non theless.

Absolutely beautiful place.

The cabin was amazing bed so comfy. Definitely a 5 Star. Such a peaceful and relaxing place would definitely go again. Our only gripe was my husband loves fishing and the lake was covered in oxygenating weed, but they did leave note explaining that they had Canadian Geese nesting. Other that we loved it.

Lovely setting and facilities.

Would highly recommend to anyone. Only thing I would say to improve would be for there to be some kindling to make the fires easier to light.

We had a lovely break.

Peaceful and relaxed. Lots of wildlife to see on the lake. The reeds and vegetation have grown a lot so the lake is not visible from the veranda which was a shame. Most things we needed in the cabin. (Hairdryer would be a good addition). Hot tub was wonderful. We would definitely like to return again and maybe try one of the other cabins.

My husband and I stayed at Kingfisher Lodge for our anniversary and we were not disappointed.

The Lodge is located on a working farm with 2 other lodges around the lake but was peaceful. The owners were lovely and really helpful. We took a walk to Dobbies nursery which had lots of variety and the on to the Friendly Inn. The food, staff and locals were all very friendly also. The Lodge was clean, and comfy and very private. The hot tub was clean and easy to heat up, the only thing I would say is that Willow Lodge across the lake had a clear view and would have been nice if there was a privacy screen or something. There is a fantastic patio section which is under cover and we were able to sit out there on the first evening while it was raining and not get wet at all. We highly recommend this place and we will be definitely returning next year.

We had a lovely stay at the Kingfisher cabin, it was very tranquil and cosy.

The owners were easy to contact if we required any help during our stay. The only small additions we could think of were a peeler/masher for the kitchen and advisement on what the owners would like us to do with the recycling/bins. I have already recommended Manor Farm cabins to friends and family as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Best cabin break I have been on.

Peaceful, remote yet easy to get to places, clean and super helpful friendly hosts. The cabin itself is cozy with a fireplace and a lovely view of the lake. I’ll definitely be back soon

Excellent Sherherd hut nice size we loved the property, everything you could need is there and comfortable.

You do need transport lots of walking available but the nearest pub is 5mile round walk to Frankton which is along the cycle track, so a fair walk.

Beautiful cabin and scenery, we had a fantastic stay and had everything we needed.

Will definitely be recommending to friends and family! Improvements? some outdoor lighting by the hot tub would be great especially during the winter months since it gets so dark so quickly. And potentially trimming down some of the reeds so the lake can be seen when sitting down outside... however none of this is needed just me and my partner being picky

Brilliant little getaway - Kingfisher is so secluded and peaceful.

The cabin itself is modern but also very cosy and well equipped! The hosts respect your privacy but are also there at the drop of a text if you require anything. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Kingfisher cabin!

Set in a peaceful area and beautiful surroundings, we really enjoyed taking in all nature had to offer. Kingfisher itself was modern, spacious and clean. Every effort had made to ensure our stay would be comfortable and welcoming. The hot tub was amazing to sit in and watch the sun go down. The hosts are fantastic, letting you enjoy your stay but still available if you have any queries! I was lucky enough to chat with Elinor about the local area and conservation of the land. Anything I would change? Maybe a more robust bin in the kitchen as the flies definitely like to come in from outside. But honestly, that’s just a minor point. We loved our stay and we will come back!

This is an ideal place for a couples break.

I booked it for our anniversary. The property overlooks the pond in which you can observe ducks, swan's and various other birds. Set in a very peaceful, beautiful and tranquil surroundings. The property was clean and tidy with all of the kitchen facilities included. The owners left free range eggs and their own honey made on the farm. A lovely extra touch.

We had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. Such a relaxing experience, but also plenty of days out nearby if you wish. We have already recommended Kingfisher to friends and family and we would definitely go again. Thank you!

The Kingfisher was in a great location by the lake with a lovely view through the French doors.

We used the hot tub which was a lovely touch. Our plan was to use Kingfisher as a base to do plenty of walking. It was great for that as we didn’t use the car all week With various walks of interest.

Just an idea a visitor book this would allow people to write down there experiences and ideas of what to do.

We absolutely loved staying here, it was so quiet and right in the middle of nature.

There were coots, moorhens, swans and geese all wandering/swimming past with their chicks, and bluetits in and out of their nest on the veranda. I even opened the curtains one morning to a green woodpecker pecking around on the grass. Nel and Will were also fantastic and very helpful hosts. The cabin was pretty well equipped with the only improvement we woud recommend being somewhere to hang towels next to the hot tub.

Lovely little place the owners have clearly put a lot of effort into creating these peaceful getaways.
