Booster's Lodge

We would highly recommend this lodge, the owner had thought of everything, even down to brand new toothbrushes In the cupboard.

It was lovely and clean and we couldn't fault anything. Will definitely be back.

A lovely place to stay, right on the river.

very well equipped even down to the washing up liquid. I do however have a couple of things to say about the cleanliness of the place, on the surface clean, but the ledges in the on suite had not been cleaned for months covered in grey skin dust, also the back plinth on the lights in the bedroom, all the windows were filthy again months worth of spiders webs and rain spatter - how long is it since we had rain. The electrics also need sorting as we didn't dare use the dimmer switch for the lounge, as it didn't connect properly, and a warning note on the wall not to use the kettle and the toaster together as it would blow the electrics.

Such a lovely place.

Lovely location with uninterrupted views of the river and no other lodges in front. Paul could not have been more helpful and had thought of everything. Lively comfy beds, two really good bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, even down to bowls and towels for any pampered pooches you might bring. We shall return soon.

Lovely well equipped lodge, set in beautiful location overlooking the River Avon.

There are 5 steep steps into the lodge which my parents did struggle with. A very quiet site, nearest shop half a mile away for necessities. Nice big field for dogs to be exercised. TV was intermittent due to WiFi but still had a lovely time there.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we love it the surroundings are beautiful a very friendly swan came to see us every morning and evening and even brought her babies to visit us the lodge is very clean and comfort we would highly recommend staying here and there are lovely places to visit our and about

The decking was filthy and the wood was chipped needs replacing ,also the microwave was rusty inside needs a new one ,the kettle and taps also needed a good clean,only 3 chairs on the balcony, the owner laughed at my wife when she phoned him on our arrival, tried to contact him again after leaving early, but he would not talk and just hung up disgusting£900 what a rip off

Lovely clean accommodation with plenty of room.

Great location, we could have walked in to town but chose to drive. Seeing the wildlife was wonderful. Would come again.

We had a very enjoyable week.

The lodge was very clean. Although you are advised the Wi-fi is intermittent it could do with sorting. It is no use having smart televisions if the wi-fi is poor or non existent, however the location is perfect overlooking the river and within easy reach of Stratford.

Very comfortable property in a peaceful location.

Easy access to Stratford and lots of NT properties nearby. Our second visit and we will be back - highly recommended.

This property was pleasant and spacious, clean and well maintained- a little dated and tired but perfectly acceptable.

The only reason I found it uncomfortable was because we stayed during a mini heatwave and the temperature inside the property was intolerable for me and my dog. I cut my holiday short due to this. I took my own fan in preparation but only air-conditioning would have made it tolerable. I would recommend this property but not during periods of high temperatures.

We had a fantastic stay at Boosters Lodge - brilliant location and fabulous lodge - really appreciated the welcome pack, the strawberries were delicious.

Lovely location however the lack of Wifi was a massive issue especially with both parents working from home and having teenagers, TV was glitching constantly and unable to access emails which was a real must, furniture was tired needing attention, issue with heating but this was sorted quickly by Paul.

Nothing major and with slight tweaks this could be a 5* accommodation but would need sorting first.

We found the lodge to be clean and comfortable, and provided everything you need.

In a lovely position by the river and location to Stratford upon Avon was great. Thought the furniture was a bit uncomfortable. The bed linen although clean was old and tired looking and we kept losing the Internet which was a pain when watching TV. . We had problems with the Internet connection throughout our stay.

Lovely lodge, ideally situated.

Well equipped with all we needed. The steps into the lodge & the decking do need some attention. The bifold doors onto the deck, we found to be quite dangerous when closing as you need to hold the latch at the top before closing & fingers could get caught. Hose standby tap at bottom of entrance steps is leaking. We had a lovely stay & sat watching rowers, paddleboarders & the river taxi going back & forth..all very relaxing! The small river taxi is lovely with the captain giving us info about some of the properties along the route. Stratford itself is lovely..would definitely visit again.

A lovely lodge in a great location.

Excellent owners who were really helpful. Well equipped kitchen, very spacious lounge and a great outlook, overlooking the river Avon. Only a short walk to local pubs and restaurants one way and Stratford the other way. If I wanted to be picky and the only reason it's not all 5 stars are in places it's starting to look a little tired, the sofa facing the tv is well used so a little uncomfortable and the carpet could do with a refresh. That said, would I return yes, would I recommend again yes.

We had a lovely stay at Boosters - the swans were disconcertingly friendly!

The lounge is really lovely and bright overlooking the river so you can watch the comings and goings on the river all day long. Given we went in November during the stormy season it was important that the accommodation was warm - it was toasty. We had a bit of a problem with the keys but this was sorted out by Paul very quickly. All in all a great stay. Do take basics (tea coffee and milk with you as these were not provided). Stratford is very nice and you can walk there at a good pace in half an hour.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable, lovely location with river view and an easy walk into Stratford.

It is a lovely property, beautiful views from the decking .

Only slight problem was that the lights on the decking, one of the under cabinet lights and one of the wall lights didn't work , which was reported. The TV in the living area initially could not pick up all channels but this was quickly remedied, unfortunately then the TV in the double bedroom then did not work. Despite the small problems above we had a lovely time, very relaxing. Property is very clean, very well equipped with everything you could need. The park is very dog friendly , with a lovely walking field not far from the property. I would definitely recommend Booster Lodge and hope to come back again .

The lodge was even better than expected.

Nice & clean & comfortable, very spacious, with all facilities & a fully equipped kitchen. It's in a beautiful location, right next to the river with great views; very peaceful complete with a small balcony / patio area, overlooking the river. Dog friendly. We had another brilliant week in this lovely comfortable holiday home from home with the fabulous vista out to the river and the geese with their goslings that are reliably present at this time of year.

My husband and I visit with my father and enjoy every minute of the holiday in the light and bright space of the lodge with all the facilities you need. Yet again we have booked for next May and look forward to visiting. Thank you to the owners for the opportunity and for all the reinvestments in facilities year on year. Thank you Susan

Great stay at Boosters Lodge in March.

Loads of room for 3 of us and our two small dogs. Everything you need is there. The weather was bad so we were happy the lodge had heating through out.I am sure we will be back soon.

The only thing stopping a full 10 out of 10 I'm being really picky is I didn't find the sofa closest to the TV very comfortable, so if that was the only niggle it can't be bad. Would go back

The lodge was very comfortable and in a picturesque place.

Nicely set out and well equipped, lovely for the dog with a large grassed area and the riverbank nearby. Warm and cosy too.

Boosters Lodge looked excellent on paper but in reality it was far nicer, everything required was there , spotlessly clean and in a fantastic position by the river Avon .

Had a fabulous week and the weather was amazing, loved every minute of our stay. The owners have obviously worked hard to make the lodge into a super holiday home and have definitely succeeded , in future if we visit Stratford upon Avon , this will be our only choice. Thank you for an amazing week. five * s all round.

I felt that the place was a little tired.

It could of been cleaner, bags in the bathroom bins, the sofa had seen better days and that rug needs to go. In the kitchen the washing machine door was missing. The towels and bedding could be a higher standard. We where unable to get Netflick, Internet was very hit and miss. The views where outstanding and it was lovely to walk to Stratford-upon-Avon.

This is a fabulous lodge; well maintained and with good facilities, it is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the glorious town of Stratford on Avon and the surrounding countryside.

From here, you can quickly get to Warwick, the Cotswolds and the south of Birmingham. The lodge is well positioned, right on the river bank, with lovely, calm and peaceful views across the water and fields. It was a proper little home-from-home. Thank you, Paul.

The lodge was lovely and the view over the river lovely.

The steps were a bit hard going for us being disabled, so will not return on that basis but the owner was very friendly and helpful on our arrival as the weather was fowl and the check in a bit tricky for us. Hence the 4 stars as the check in is a bit of a struggle, plus although the Canadian Geese are lovely and keep the grass short, there needs to be a method of cleaning up the guano because walking and getting it on shoes and belongings isn't nice, especially for children and the elderly. The Riverside Venue was ok but a bit overpriced, but the location was excellent for the town, and the local village. So would recommend it overall. The balcony/terrace overlooking the river made the week.

We loved staying at Boosters Lodge-really spacious and in a beautiful position near to the river.

Paul, the owner was in the car park waiting when we arrived to show us about getting into the property, and popped in during our stay to check if all was okay. The beds were really comfortable, which is always a plus! The only thing I would mention is that we couldn't find any bath mats for the floors, so has to use a towel.

Lodge excellent location overlooking Avon .

Clean. Well equipped..Stratford easy to reach on foot or ferry. Would have no problem recommending.

The lodge was spotless and had a great location next to the river Avon, perfect for exploring Stratford and the surrounding area.

The park also had plenty of grass for the kids to play on, along with a play area and pub/restaurant. We didn't meet the owner, however he called prior to our arrival and was on hand to help when we had a minor issue with the WiFi. Very friendly and helpful service, we would definitely recommend!

My father, husband and I enjoyed another superb break in this beautifully appointed and homely lodge.

The facilities, outlook and location are all superb with the added bonus of wonderful wildlife and riverside tranquility which was an absolute delight. We all left feeling uplifted and it motivated us to book another week in the spring next year. Thank you for this lovely opportunity to enjoy Stratford and the surrounding area. Staying at the Lodge has been an absolute pleasure.

We really enjoyed our stay at Boosters Lodge.

The view of the river was picturesque as the boats,ferry, and paddle boarders past. The lodge was immaculate and well equipped. The heating system was easy to use which we turned off when we went out and at night. They supplied cleaning materials, toilet rolls, refuse sacks, coffee, tea and sugar although we did use our own coffee and tea. This site was nice and quiet and the Riverside restaurant was good. We could not use the ferry as my husband has a disability but a very useful means of getting into Stratford. It is also walkable. The steps to the lodge are quite steep and my husband just managed them and we knew there were steps when we booked. We would really recommend this lodge as it is well furnished, comfortable and good value for money.

We stayed at Boosters lodge for a long weekend, it was very clean and comfortable especially the beds the kitchen had everything you needed, we had our elderly parents with us, the positioning of the lodge is stunning right next to the river Avon so they loved watching the boats go up and down, we even managed to get Dad on the river taxi, and after a day in Stratford we had a steady walk back, we shall definitely be back, the only downfall was we should have booked a week Boosters lodge thank you

Great stay as always Paul is always available if needed which is highly unlikely as thing are always perfect.

Would recommend staying at Boosters to anyone,we would find it hard to find anywhere better so will be back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Booster Lodge.

It was clean, warm, comfortable and spacious. The view of the River Avon through the patio doors was very special. We (and our two dogs) enjoyed watching the swans, Canada Geese, the birds on the bird feeder and a very cheeky squirrel. We would not hesitate to recommend Booster Lodge and hope to return next year.

We arrived early so decided to park up and take a sneaky look at the location,fortunately for us we met the owner Paul who turned out to be a very kind and helpful person.

The location is perfect,we arrived early/pre season so not many other people on site but Boosters is right on the edge facing the river. We had the pleasure of ducks,swans and squirrels feeding right next to us at no extra cost. The lodge is large and spacious so plenty of room to relax if you have children,it also has a fair size deck area facing the river. Would definitely stay again.

I would like to say thank you for making it Christmassy for us, it was a lovely thought.

We had a lovely time, really enjoyed watching the geese out the front, our dogs were fascinated by the 10 squirrels , also the bluetits on the bird feeder. The lodge is very comfortable with everything you need for a great holiday. The torches came in very handy. Thank you once again.

Great location on the river side, we were lucky enough to stay during a particularly hot spell of weather.

Our only problem was that we were unable to sit outside on the deck area due to lack of shade. A large parasol would have been fantastic. Overall a fantastic place for both a family holiday or just for couples.

It was extremely comfortable and very clean. It was very quiet. Fabulous door opens from lounge to balcony. Watching the 'river traffic'. 2 families of swans came out of the water directly opposite us & came to preen themselves below the balcony. It was wonderul to watch. Everything is as it is described.Parking spot outside the lodge. Dogs welcomed. Overall a great week.

Lovely clean lodge in a beautiful setting with everything we needed. Nice walk to Stratford on Avon and if we were to tired to walk back it was nice to return by river taxi which dropped us of right outside the lodge at a very reasonable price. We will be certain to book again.

We had a wonderful stay a Booster’s Lodge.

In a fantastic setting with a lovely view of the river, the lodge was a real home from home; fully equipped, really clean and extremely comfortable. Very helpful owner and thoughtful touches too - thank you for the milk, cupboard essentials and the Easter Eggs! Located a stone’s throw from Stratford centre so in an excellent location too. We agreed this was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Lovely welcoming from Paul when we got the time wrong but he was great and let us come in and unpack.

Despite us being an hour early the lodge was very clean, with anti bac wash in every room. The beds had good quality linen however, it was a hard mattress (suited me not hubby!) The lodge had everything you needed in the kitchen. We chose to cook every night and it was like using a home kitchen everything to hand. There are loads of things to do even on a wet day in March. I would recommend the 1940s tea room, the scones are to die for. Tip: if you want to go to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre book in advance so you wont be disappointed. We enjoyed our holiday. Booster's Lodge was wonderful and I can not praise it high enough!

Brilliant, comfortable properly in immaculate condition.

Best lodge I have ever stayed in. Only criticism is that the cooking pans require replacement and a few glass Pyrex type dishes and bowls would be useful.

Boosters Lodge was very spacious, clean and the owner has made sure they have fully equipped the lodge with everything you would need for your stay, so much thought has been given to make the lodge as comfortable as could be, I felt very home from home here.

The best beds I have ever stayed on, and had a good nights sleep every night. The location was excellent, peaceful and the site is maintained to a lovely standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending this lodge and hoping to return in the summer months.

Really enjoyed our stay every thing was as expected received lovely gift of chocolates plenty of hand sanitizers around everything worked fine had no issues.

The scenery overlooking the river is a bonus & watching the rowers pass by this place would be super in the warmer days tried some fishing but a tad to cold walked into Stratford to the shops also had Sunday dinner at the local pub The Crown very dog friendly & cosy the spar shop next door had everything we needed & staff were very friendly

I could not rate this lodge enough, the owner has thought of everything.

The lodge is beautiful, spacious and the location on the river is stunning. The only wish list I would add and these are literally down to my own needs, the beds are very good quality but are very hard, as this lodge is all on one level making it very accessible but the steps, it would be nice to have a ramp to door as the lodge is perfect space wise if you need accessibility, but these are literally items that would accommodate my needs better and make it more than perfect. There are 4 steps up to foot with rail to one side. This being said would I return - DEFINITELY!

It had a great outlook and was very clean with lots of antibacterial wipes in every room. The owner was very helpful and answered any questions we had very quickly. A great 10 out of 10 for a holiday.

Bed and pillows very comfortable, almost home from home. you need a car if you have problems walking, no shops or restaurants or take aways, near to hand.a fair track on foot to Stratford. I have stayed twice here. And would love to return next year.

What a fantastic property in a fantastic location.

The lodge is very spacious, with everything you could need or want for your stay. And the location is beautiful. We chose this lodge for easy access to the Avon for paddleboarding, and it was perfect! The owner Paul was also very approachable and helpful. We will be booking again.

Paul the owner was most kind it is a lovely place to stay and we would return it was very hot at the time of the holiday so the decking in the evening was a lovely place to sit and relax and watch the wildlife.

The lodge was a little grubby, dead wasp and moldy bit of food under foot stool carpet very stained windows dirty.

The mattresses on twin beds were as hard as rock , not firm hard l had to buy a mattress cover but still to hard resulting on no real sleep for seven nights not what you want on holiday. After a year of shielding l was very much looking forward to my holiday but sorry to say a bit let down. The position of lodge is perfect but lacking in above mentioned

A very comfortable lodge in a beautiful position.

Just wonderful to sit on the veranda and watch the the river with wildlife and boaters. Rayford site is very well maintained. So close to Stratford upon Avon and not far to the Cotswolds. A wonderful holiday thank you.

Boosters lodge is a lovely lodge on a quiet site on the banks of the beautiful River Avon.

Plenty large enough for 4 adults. The lodge was very clean and well equipped. A double bedroom with en-suite and twin room with 2 full size single beds. Two very comfortable sofas in the lounge could have done with an extra coffee table. There is a decking area overlooking the river with table and 2 chairs. We took our own picnic chairs as there were 4 adults. As a previous reviewer said it’s not easy to find. There is a map of the site just after the entrance barrier. It only gives lodge numbers no names. Boosters Lodge in number 80. Drive straight down to the river, turn right and it’s the 7th lodge on the left. Key box is on the upright at the top of the steps opposite the door. It was better than expected and we hope to return.

Wonderful stay at Booster Lodge.

Location couldn't have been better on the park and very convenient to walk to local area.The lodge had everything and more that you would require for your stay, very spacious. Will definitely book again. Cant recommended this lodge enough.

We loved the lodge and location.

My only criticism is that the directions to find the lodge were not clear. We arrived in the dark and could not find the lodge, luckily another resident helped us to find it.

Really nice cabin, very comfortable with excellent location everything we expected but cleanliness could have been a little better especially during current times,but we had the most amazing week and would love to come back again

Lovely lodge nice and quiet I put in the guest book a couple of things needed to give it a extra special touch like extra coffee table bath mats and the fan in bathroom didn’t work.

The owner was wonderful when we were delayed upon arrival and the lodge was warm, comfortable, very clean and surprisingly very well stocked! To say it was dog friendly was an understatement. We had a marvellously relaxing holiday. I will recommend both Sykes & Booster’s Lodge

A warm, cosy and comfortable lodge on a very well kept park in an ideal location.

A few snagging issues were sorted immediately by the owners. The lodge is very peaceful but also near to main routes into other towns and there is plenty to see and do in the area.

Lovely relaxing holiday river taxis very good never had to use car very much enjoyed every minute need to get televisions in bedroom sorted

Due to me having breathing problems and my wife a broken foot they assisted without having to ask .the lodge was first class,the location outstanding you could want for nothing more. We will definitely be booking again without a doubt
