Set across the ground floor, the accommodation has an open plan living area featuring a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen area, plus a comfy sitting area with double doors opening out to a small enclosed terrace.
The comfortable bedroom contains a king-size bed and boasts a fully-tiled, en-suite shower room.
This delightful lodge is located between the southern end of the Cotswolds and the northern edge of the Vale of Pewsey, a short distance from the historic market town of Royal Wootton Bassett, and is an ideal base for exploring the area on foot, by bicycle or car.
A charming holiday base for exploring the Wessex countryside; with easy access to many delightful towns and villages, this is the perfect place for couples planning to explore the area.

It was very overpriced for the size of the property.
The owners were pleasant but it was very small and awkward eg bedroom door could not be fully opened, and manoeuvring round bedroom a tight fit, had to store holdall in lounge as no room in bedroom, barely any worktop space in kitchen to do anything. Lounge area, though, was reasonable, but a narrow bijou patio area. Also disappointing that a few basics were lacking, which are generally supplied when we hire a cottage - usually there will be liquid soap in kitchen + bathroom, 1 kitchen roll, some alum.foil and cling film. Only a small amount of washing up liquid provided. Would have preferred some practical items to the "goodies" which were left. I noticed that a week later for same day of arrival and departure, the cost was over £100 cheaper, but a more realistic price for this chalet.
Just back from a wonderful stay at The Nook in Wiltshire with my dogs.
A good base to visit places of interest nearby. Comfortable, quiet, chickens and ponies close by. Great facilities at the Nook. Great sunsets. I'll be back
This is our second stay here, we stayed this time last year, the owners have made changes like airfryer, sofa and decking area attached to the cabin that are a great addition.
The bed is comfortable, bedding clean and fresh, bathroom very clean, you are given towels to use but if like me you like a bath sheet don’t forget to bring one each. The land the cabin in on is very well kept and clean, the driveway is a good size to turn and park a large family car. There is a field over the road to walk the dogs. We enjoyed our stay in the nook and to return again next year
