We absolutely adored staying here.
It was so cosy and had everything you needed, including the Tavern right next door for dinner or a quick drink. As we don't drive we largely rely on the train for holidays, so it can be hard to find nice places to visit and stay without breaking the bank. So we were just blown away by how lovely this was. Already planning my next visit and recommended it to everyone I know.

Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, this charming Shepherds Hut had everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its picture-postcard setting—rolling hills, honey-stone houses, and winding country lanes right on the doorstep. The hut itself was beautifully maintained, combining character with modern comforts. The sunsets made evenings especially relaxing. What really sets this place apart is the location. It’s tucked away enough to feel peaceful and secluded, yet close to a lovely village pub and scenic walking trails. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a quiet retreat to recharge, this Shepherd's Hut is a true gem. We’ll definitely be returning—and recommending it to everyone we know.
