“A fishing cabin that has no fish!”
Owner advised us we were wasting our time fishing it as there’s nothing in it! The only fish we found was a large dead one rotting in the water, we removed it. The farms Facebook page shows photos of the owners themselves with fish, all photos are the same fish, same scale pattern and same wound. When my partner mentioned this in a comment on their Facebook page he got instantly blocked from the page. Cabin itself looked ok at first but on closer inspection it’s in quite poor condition ...

Ceilings covered in cobwebs, roof leaks when it rains, shower leaks, bathroom walls very damp. Tv wouldn’t come on for 2 days, we changed batteries in the remote but still not working, owner came up and said it’s temperamental, probably because it’s held together with tape! Bathroom floor tiles were loose. The hot tub wasn’t working properly either, only 2 jets worked. It wasn’t the cleanest. We didn’t stay the full week it’s that bad we came home after 3 nights! So no I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. We paid nearly £1200 for a fishing cabin for the week and that has no fish! Shocking really.
I don’t normally respond to the feed back as most reviews speak for themselves. As usually positive and accurate.
But in this case I think I ought to .
For contact numbers in all cabins the numbers are in the first page of of info book

As you arrived three hours early and went straight in , you should have had time to find this .
So when you relayed a problem with the t. V . Remote, I came down within 5 minutes. To be told “ It’s fine “ .
The roof is definitely not leaking . We did have a leak 2 years ago but rectified.
You are right about the shower, it was weeping in corner. Now I know about it , I have rectified this (2 minute job) thanks for letting me know.
The bathroom tiles are not loose. They are stuck down and sound .
As cleanliness goes , all cabins and hot tubs are done properly and done with pride of job by Laura who is taken aback by this comment.
Unfortunately spiders do live here as well, as fast as we de web they put them back with impressive speed.
Now being a cabin on water’s edge, I’m afraid Rats , mice , voles , moles , ducks, geese and all manner of wild life also enjoy the area. But I assure you they are not in the cabin with you .
Regulated baiting stations are in position.
Fishing . In recent weeks many guests have had productive and enjoyable time, with p bs being beaten ( up to 33 lbs recently! )
Sometimes fish do not play the game !
As anyone can see on our Facebook page there are many different people catching and holding fish of late . ( They are not us !)
We have a picture of us releasing some in March. So to say that there are no fish here is incorrect and damaging to our business which we have restocked/ Otter fenced etc . Too much investment.

Maybe our cabins aren’t for you and we’ll just leave this here .
