The cottage is beautifully situated, with lovely views.
It’s clean, and it’s great that there’s a canopy so you can still sit outside even if it rains (if the temperature’s right). Although there are four beds, it’s not really suitable for four people to stay there – it’s far too small for that. Because it’s so small, there isn’t a proper dining table either, so eating is a bit of a faff. The kitchen is OK, but the crockery is a bit of a mixed bag and there aren’t enough of everything. The bed isn’t very comfortable; it’s definitely in need of replacing. The information on how to get there and key collection was clear and straightforward. There is information about the local area available in the cottage.
We had a great time, lovely location.
Beds really comfortable, wi-fi, shower were great and owner a friendly, nice chap. The only baffling aspect was kitchen equipment - cooking items fine but crockery, cutlery, glassware were a weird random assortment and odd numbers, some items insufficient for the bookable guest numbers. That part felt neglected. Is it because others break bowls or lose spoons? For example, 6 matching latte tall cups but only 3 mismatched mugs. Cutlery that looked like it came from different sets. That's the only area I would suggest needs thought because it forms part of first impressions - If the owner has to charge returnable breakages deposit up front to cover replacements, that I would understand. I hope this helps.
Great stay , nice and clean , nice and quiet, we enjoyed our stay here
