What guests are saying
A hole in window pain no heating on arrival smoke alarm covered cobwebs in both window pains not enough cutlery or crockery for 2 ppl no cooking utensils no towels and no Wi-Fi internet or television channels for the duration of stay although on arrival we did ask for this to be sorted and were assured that it would be the barmaid phoned the owner but we never seen or heard from him will not be recommending these premises to anyone especially as we were charged £383 for what can only be explained as a miserable stay and falsely advertised to what is included in the price
The attention to detail in the decor was outstanding, whilst still maintaining comfort and cleanliness.
Also, the jar of dog treats was a very nice touch. Very friendly and helpful owners. I think I may have been the first to stay in this room, as appliances like the fridge and air dryer were brand new. This could account for the few oversights and 'teething problems'. The main one of these was that my TV wasn't working; so the owner, Sean, offered me use of the large room next door to me, also brilliantly decorated! Unfortunately, being technically useless, I couldn't get any apps/channels on it. An issue with WiFi was quickly fixed when I ran out of free data on my phone, which I was watching in place of TV. One little oversight was the lack of plates, cutlery, etc - it wasn't really a big problem for me, as I wasn't doing much cooking and I did eventually track some down in the other room. Aside from these minor issues, I had a very nice stay here. It was low season, so obviously pretty quiet, and that's exactly what I was after. But it would be a fantastic place for a group of friends to 'book out', especially with the Blazing Saddles (a class wee pub!) only steps away; I imagine that would be great craic, especially in high season. I will definitely be revisiting N.I's Wild West again!
