Wander up the staircase which is paired with some magnificent wooden beams and reach the first floor of The Turnip Barn.
Up here you will discover three superbly finished bedrooms, all are finished to a perfect standard and come with their own luxury en-suite facilities so you can get ready for your day in peace and style.
The supremacy of this County Durham cottage flows to its exterior, a pristine lawned garden provides a serene spot to sit with a drink.
The centre of Witton Gilbert is easily reached from here, the village offers two friendly pubs, one of which serves delicious food, there is also a convenience store.
There are also a number of beautiful footpaths and cycle paths on The Turnip Barn's doorstep, perfect for exploring with your family and your dog.
The remarkable city of Durham is very close by, a place line with idyllic architecture hosting the highest quality amenities and attractions to make the most of.Durham can be easily reached from the property, with the park and ride being only 2 miles from the property.
A few miles west brings you to the breath-taking North Pennines AONB, whilst a trip north leads you towards the bustling shopping city of Newcastle.

Very centrally located. Close to the city of Durham, we used the park and ride. Short drive to the coast.
The Turnip Barn was a wonderful stay.
It's just a few miles from Durham and is well located to explore the surrounding area. The accommodation was spacious and well-appointed, with ample parking and a private garden to the rear. Check in/ out was straightforward. We particularly liked the forest walk in the dene just across the road from the property - handy if you are travelling with a dog!
