Park View Lodge

Our break was truly a pleasure.

The area is beautiful and the cabin has everything you could really need. We were lucky with the weather all week but it would have been great anyway. George (owner) was happy and helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation is great. Estate agents could describe it as ‘compact’ but it’s definitely big enough for a short break. Lots of nice touches like milk in the fridge and treats on the table. Apart from the Sat Nav postcode sending us up the wrong drive everything was perfect. If you are looking in or around the area don’t miss out - genuinely superb.

The accommodation was excellent.

Very clean and comfortable. Everything you needed was supplied, from washing up liquid to doggy poo bags and even a welcome basket. The owner was very friendly and informative, helping us with places to visit. Would highly recommend this property.

This is my family's happy place.

Upon arrival you enter the most beautiful scenery and cosy cabin. There is a wonderful welcome package containing bread & milk, jams, crisps and chocolate bars alongside a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. Everything is so clean and modern. The huge land for the dog to roam free with secure fencing is amazing. The kids can play games and have adventures for hours. You have everything you could possibly need and more with local shops and amenities avaliable less than 5 minutes away. And of course you have the hot tub to relax in and melt away your troubles. It's so good that during our second time staying we booked to come back again!

Thanks for a fab stay, everything you needed, gorgeous land at the front of the property for the dog to run, all kept lovely, we had a fab time thank you, and a mention to Mark who looked after us during our stay, he’s a credit to the team , owners where contactable also , lovely surrounding areas to have a look at, definitely would come again, thank you

Beautiful lodge in beautiful surroundings!

The lodge is very well equipped with everything you and your pooch need for a few days away! Lovely welcome pack too! Hot tub is amazing! Will definitely recommend!

Such a lovely place.

Lovely and clean great hot tub.when we arrived there was a loaf of bread and milk which was really kind and a basket with treats. The hole place was of high quality which was great.we would recommend it for a great stay away.would definitely like to go back

Park View Lodge is a fabulous property in a perfect location in the Peak District.

We had a lovely weekend there with our children. The property is clean, comfortable and modern. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus touch. The location was lovely, close to a field with sheep roaming around. It's within walking distance of the pleasant town on Melbourne, as well as Staunton Harold Reservoir. We therefore didn't need to use our car across the weekend. We would love to return and highly recommend Park View Lodge.

What an absolute gem of a hideaway to stay in .

... Great views hot tub was ready and immaculate on arrival..... Beds and linen top notch .... Views and privacy fantastic...... Shower was amazing .... Walked to Staunton reservoir and the pool at Melbourne..... Owners are very curious,helpful and friendly.... I would definitely stay again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very well equipped, comfortable and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Everything was so well thought out, including the finishing touches of beautiful fresh flowers on the table. The hot tub was great! Would certainly like to visit again and would recommend.

What an amazing place, beautifully presented and everything you could want and need has clearly been carefully considered.

The lodge offers complete privacy overlooking the countryside, really well though put layout, comfy bed and all expected amenities and more! The host provided basic provisions including bread and milk, wine and fresh flowers for our arrival which was a lovely touch and made our arrival very comfortable, thank you to the hosts, we will defined visit again

A very well done and thoughtfully designed lodge.

It felt totally secluded despite being next to the owners property, not overlooked at all with a great view, with private access and parking. It's cosy, and has everything you need. Plus it's a short walk into the town which had lots of places to eat and drink. Great walks straight from the door too.

Booked this lodge for valentines, and it was a perfect getaway with beautiful views, excellent location.

The lodge itself had every thing needed with lovely decor and furniture. We loved how welcoming it was for our dog with all the little extras such as dog bowls and blankets. All around an amazing place we will definitely be staying again and highly recommend to others. :)

An absolutely stunning place to stay.

The most beautiful views with all the privacy in the world. Perfect for a dog, being able to wake up in the morning and walk on your doorstep and let them run free whilst drinking your cuppa. Situated on the edge of the high street with access to all the lovely shops. A great selection of take out restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. A luxurious hot tub to sit back and relax into and it’s sheltered so it doesn’t matter what time of the year or weather! The cabin itself is modern and chic and simply gorgeous. It contains all the necessary items you’ll need for your stay and more. It’s been designed so well and you will be sad when check out day comes. We have already recommended this amazing place to multiple friends and family and are already looking at booking to return again. Thank you for the best experience.
