Pendragon Pod

The pod or as we called it 'the Hobbit House', is a delightful place to stay.

It has all you need for a peaceful relaxing get away. The pod was really clean and the garden was well cared for, with wild flowers and pots of cultivated flowers out the front of the pod. The view from the pod is superb! There are many good walks direct from the pod, through semi natural countryside and farm land. Owners Malcolm & Sarah are friendly and helpful; whilst they live close by, we were very much left to enjoy the peace and tranquility - the wildlife is amazing; we saw deer,a fox, lots of birds (some of which we didn't recognise so may be quite scarce), a plethora of various butterflies and a snow storm of different moth species! Overall the pod and surrounding areas are quite magical - we will definitely return; the sooner the better! Highly recommended!!

Great place .

...it was fare to warm when we went...June 2026 30c the pod gets warm and stays warm ....walks ok u need to be 20 to 40 and fit....drive from main road to pod about 7 min in car around single track lane....u need a small car....if u were writing a novel Great...view amazing in to valley.....

The accomodation is situated in a really peaceful setting and is perfect for a quiet relaxing break.

It is very well equipped, and we didn't require any thing else during our visit. I would very much like to stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone else.

Great base for exploring the local area. Short drive to the coast. Various walking routes which start right from the pod - maps and directions are provided in the info pack for these which I thought was a nice touch. 9/10

Located in a beautiful part of the country, I found Pendragon to be a handy base for exploring the West Country and South Coast.

It's a comfortable haven - a really good place to unwind. I found peace and quiet and I slept well throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

This was our first experience at Glamping.

As someone that has Agoraphobia, it was especially important for me to find somewhere calming and peaceful and it was exactly that. It is so beautiful to just sit and listen to the birds, the breeze in the trees and occasionally see a fox! Very thoughtful and welcoming Hosts that literally have thought of everything and was lovely to tuck into some yummy biscuits on arrival. Very much enjoyed our stay :)

We really loved our stay at Pendragon.

It was just what we needed for our break to regenerate, relaxing, peaceful, surrounded by countryside with beautiful views. It was also well equipped and clean, with thoughtful extras such as essentials like milk, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Couldn't fault it. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay!

The Pendragon pod is set in a very quite picturesque Position, the Pod is exceptionally well furnished, and we enjoyed our stay.

Our 14th wedding anniversary holiday in Pedragon pod was the best.

From cleanliness, comfort and the cosy atmosphere. The owners are discreet but available whenever needed. We loved the wood burner and the open fire where we barbecued on the sunny days we were there. The surroundings and the views are just perfect. The cute guest book and folder with all instructions very informative. We highly recommend and we plan on coming back again.

Such a beautiful and spacious property.

So many thoughtful touches like cleaning products, tea towels, shower gel, tea bags, coffee and sugar etc. Then on top of that there was a welcome pack of goodies including treats for our dog! ♥️ I loved watching the birds at the feeders every morning. We even had a visit of a fox one day. Owners are nearby and easy to contact if needed (we didn't need to but so nice to know they were nearby) The pod itself felt very spacious and the log fire was such a bonus on the chilly nights. Some lovely walks around nearby as well. The only minor thing was the bed was a bit soft for me but I do have quite a firm mattress at home so don't think that will be an issue for most people. Thank you for a lovely stay

This is a really amazing property for a country retreat.

I am a solo traveller with my dog, and it had absolutely everything I needed, very comfortable, clean and beautiful views. There are lovely walks straight from the door. It even has a car charge point, which is a bonus for me! My only issue was the water pressure, it was poor all week, but on the morning of day 6 was non existent. There was a leak, obviously out of the owners control and they said they would get straight on to it. I decided to leave at that point, a day early, so not sure of the outcome. I would definitely recommend this property.

What an absolute little gem of a place!

Comfortable with everything you need for the perfect get away - we enjoyed it so much we have booked to come back next year.

Pendragon Pod was an amazing place to stay, the views were to die for from the pod with lovely walks for us and our dog.

Great welcome pack provided which was most welcome after a long journey. Lovely cosy place to stay well worth our 5 star rating.

Second time here & we enjoyed just as much!

First time was a very hot week in June, this time in September was a lot cooler & meant a cosy indoor fire instead of sitting outside. Absolutely love the quiet surroundings, some beautiful walks & a short drive to the sea. Pod has everything you can think of & more, and is very clean & well maintained. Perfect place to stop & switch off for a while (also there is great wifi!) Thank you

Comfortable, peaceful, wildlife in abundance, everything you need for a relaxing stay in the countryside. Beach's galore a short drive away. Host's on call at anytime if you have any questions and very helpful when needed. Will definitely be going back.
