“A serene dream to be seen.”

Such an amazing place to just unwind and switch off. The whole site is made to be peaceful and enchanting. The cabin was in a perfect area for being quiet and had all the amenities you would want without having to go anywhere. The rooms were cleand and comfy, however, the outdoor furniture was not at the same standard which made it awkward to sit outside for long periods. A shame as this was something we were looking forward to. Inside was just beautiful and the log fire really adds that bit ...

Inside was just beautiful and the log fire really adds that bit of special to your stay, as does the hot tub which is well maintained and the perfect temperature to make you feel special too. Having Wi-Fi helped to keep our son happy and he enjoyed the time being switched off too. This was our second time here and we can't wait to come again, and would highly recommend booking . The team behind the scenes were amazing too and kept us informed and made sure we had all we needed for our stay. A little bit of luxury for all.

The lodge sits within a generous plot, offering a reassuring sense of seclusion.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the surrounding trees and draw natural light into the open-plan living space, while doors open directly onto a private deck with outdoor furniture and a sunken hot tub, ideal for relaxed mornings, alfresco dining or winding down beneath clear night skies.

Inside, the living area feels bright and welcoming, with comfortable seating, a large TV and a wood burner that makes it especially appealing for cooler seasons.

The well-equipped kitchen is designed for easy self-catering, whether that’s a simple breakfast before heading out or a family meal enjoyed together around the dining table.

When it’s time to rest, the master bedroom offers a king-size bed, Freeview TV and a modern en-suite shower room, while the twin bedroom is perfect for children or additional guests.

A contemporary family bathroom with bath and overhead shower completes the layout, providing flexibility for longer or multi-generational stays.

About the location

LANREATH

Pelynt 2 miles; Looe 5 miles; Polperro 6 miles.

Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop and Post Office as well as a parish church. There are a number of ghost stories associated with Lanreath. The best-known features a ghost in black driving a coach pulled by a headless horse. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. Polperro is a little further away and is a historic fishing village nestling at the head of a long valley leading down to the sea. With plenty of areas to visit, Lanreath is a quiet, pleasant place offering easy access to the coast, the moors, National Trust properties and Cornwall's famous gardens.
