The lodge itself was ok but sofas weren’t the best for comfort and dining chairs are well and truly past their best.

There was no outside light for steps going in and out of the lodge in the dark. Obviously the view from the front windows was lovely but to the side of the lodge it overlooked looked big gas containers & hedgerow was overgrown & big gaps in the hedge, generally the ground at the side wasn’t kept very tidy. Kitchen not the best equipped either. Cushions for decking chairs were covered in creepy crawleys. We had to clean and wipe them before we could use them. Most of the windows didn’t lock properly. Swimming pool was nice but didn’t open till 10am which meant we couldn’t have an early morning swim before going out for the day, unless we never left till late morning. & definitely the walk/access from site to the beach St Marys bay isn’t really for anyone who isn’t super fit. We were there a week and struggled to put bin bags in wheelie bins as they didn’t appear to get emptied. Personally I think it’s over priced & feel I paid for a luxury lodge and didn’t feel I got that. I’ve been to much better lodges for less money.

The lodge was lovely very spacious and clean lovely views we had a lovely time.

Just a couple of points perhaps to consider maybe a outside light for night time and a few more pots and pans but overall excellent.
