Lodge 74 is a well-appointed, single-storey lodge set in a laid-back coastal spot just outside the picturesque fishing town of Brixham. Ideal for couples, families and friends, this welcoming retreat offers a comfortable base for exploring South Devon’s coastline, with off-road parking adding everyday convenience.
Guests have access to on-site facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool (open 1 May to 20 September 2026, weather permitting), a bar and café serving a range of light bites and a fitness room where you can work out during your stay.
Inside, the lodge is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with contemporary interiors and all the mod cons you’d expect for a relaxed break. The open-plan living space is designed for sociable stays, bringing together the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, while an electric fire and central heating creates a warm, inviting feel during winter escapes. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to evening meals, and there’s plenty of space to sit back and unwind with the TV after a day outdoors. The lodge was beautiful and the views are a huge wow factor.
Was very impressed with the amout of storage in all rooms. The Lodge is finished to a high standard and very modern. There are a few stains on the living room carpet but ok. The small toiletries provided was a lovey touch and they smelt amazing. A few things I would point out is only one bin bag was provided in the kitchen, one loo roll in the bathrooms and 1 dishwasher table so had to go a buy supplies which isnt a big deal. Would happily go back.
Could have given us at least 2 dish washer tablets and more than just one bin liner.
With a family of 4 and 2 kids, 1 dish washer tablet and 1 bin liner doesn’t cut it.
