Chapel Pod is extremely comfortable .

It is quiet and feels secluded. It has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Jean is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful break in a beautiful area.

The host and her family are lovely and the pod itself is beautiful and so peaceful.

Being on a working farm you can hear the livestock sometimes but we enjoyed out nightly serenade from the cows! The area around the pod is beautiful and I would highly recommend a wander down the road opposite the pod in the evening. I honestly couldn't recommend this place enough. Daily visits from Kim the farm dog were an undeniable highlight.

Friendly dog visits were a huge bonus, the underfloor heating is amazing, and the location was perfect. Will definitely be back at some point!

The best equipped pod I've ever had the pleasure to stay in ,would definitely recommend it .

An excellent stay as usual.

My only niggle was that the kitchen blind was damaged and needed to be rolled by hand rather than pulling on the cord. It didn't bother me but others might consider it more of an issue. Everything else was spot on and the addition of the air fryer since my last visit makes meal choices much more varied. Cosy place to stay and many, many places to visit.

Lovely pod owner Jean was helpful and always on hand if we needed anything the farm dog Kim was lovely came to say hello even before bed time we would recommend this place but you do need a car to travel around but we had great week thanks Jean and to Sykes

We had a really good time and Chapel Pod was perfect for our needs.

The pod was very well appointed and had everything that a visitor could possibly need but still felt spacious!

Very comfortable with a great shower and oceans of hot water. Very clean with a great little plug in hob, toaster, microwave and kettle of course made it easy to whip up a breakfast (or something more substantial if you’re not as lazy as we were!) Wi-Fi was good and reliable and the little outside seating area with its pretty planting was a joy for your first and last cuppa of the day. Jean was helpful and friendly and close by if needed. The only problem we had was that we didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much - we will definitely be coming back

the pod was lovely clean and comfy but the best part of the pod is kim the family dog who lives on the property she comes by the pod for visits and a snack and really made our break away she is so gentle and lovely.

the night time outside the pod was lovely pitch black and peace and quiet. and in the day i hear the birds and farm animals it’s so relaxing and the owners are lovely welcoming helpful people will def recommend

It's a quiet, remote place in beautiful surroundings. Jean was very pleasant and helpful

In the information it clearly states in two places that the bed is a king size bed.

This is not the case. The base maybe but the mattress is definitely not. One of the things we look for is a kingsize bed, and we would not have booked here if we had known it was a double bed. You may feel this is petty however we all have a check list of things we want when booking somewhere and as I have said we would not have booked here if we had known and the info relating to the pod should be changed

For a self catering holiday let there was no cooker or grill.

We appreciate its a small property but the lack of this facility did impact on our stay. A small table top oven/ grill would make a big difference.

Rustige plek met mooi tuin.

Alles wat nodig is was aanwezig, beddengoed, handdoeken en zeep. Vriendelijke gastvrouw met een traktatie in de koelkast bij aankomst. De hond komt elke dag even gedag zeggen.

Very quiet and relaxing stay at "The Pod".

The accommodation is very clean and welcoming, with all the amenities you need for your stay. In the heart of the countryside, so if walking is 'your thing', then you will love the peace and quiet and the country lanes, with the River Tamar right on your doorstep.

Lovely stay, although the weather was not perfect we still had a brilliant time here.

Jean, the owner, was a really lovely lady and extremely welcoming, providing a beautiful cream tea for us when we arrived. The Pod was clean and functional with a lovely little patio area to sit in beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

The pod is very cosy, warm and spotless.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming and we had the best stay with our little puppy, whi also made friends with the family dog. The pod is a fantastic getaway if you're looking for peace, quiet and stunning views. We highly recommend :)

Had a wonderful few days staying at Chapel Pod, it was so comfortable and quiet and a chance to switch off.

The Pod was immaculate and equipped with everything you could need. We found it to be an excellent base for visiting surrounding towns and villages, would highly recommend!

The pod was clean and tidy and had what we needed for our week’s stay. It was set in a lovely quiet garden. There was a lot of information on places to visit in the pod which we found useful. We would certainly stay again if we revisit the area.

It was comfortable, clean and all the facilities were great. Jean the owner and her family were very friendly and had some great tips for places to visit. There is an AONB is every direction . We got to see all the farm animals which our baby loved . There was also two friendly and extremely well behaved dogs which was lovely. The privacy and peacefulness was just what we needed after a busy year. We would love to come back

We had a lovely 5 night stay at the chapel pod during early November.

We were worried we may be cold in a pod as we have stayed in others before however this was not the case here, the underfloor heating is perfect! The pod is well maintained and has everything you need! It is well situated to travel into Cornwall and Devon. The surrounding area was very peaceful and we enjoyed a few visits from the friendly sheepdogs, and enjoyed watching the pheasants across the fields. Thank you for a great stay!

It was a lovely break away for me and my wife we had a great time relaxing and just chilling out we will be back next year for another weekend thanks very much Nick and Ann

Quiet and fairly comfortable.

Jean is very friendly and helpful. Had a relexing week.

There was a damaged floor and one of the drawers fronts kept falling off.

Although this was explained to us, it was a bit disappointing considering the money we paid. However, I have to say, it was in a lovely location and not too far from other towns and villages. Jean was a lovely host who gave us a wave to see we were ok. The Pod was something different and we are glad we got to experience it.

Very quiet and comfortable. Had a cream tea left for our arrival which was delicious. Not the easiest property to find and had to ring for final directions to farm but apart from that our holiday was great. Will definately return.

This was a very nice break away my wife and I needed and this was exactly what we received.

We loved our mini break it was very needed!

! Location: The pod is located in a very quiet area. It is on a working farm but this was no issuse as we felt we were secluded and had all the privacy needed. A car is recommended to get around, car space is available just outside. One evening we walked to the local pub to have dinner and daily walk around the area down to the lake. Plenty of beaches within a 30 min drive, loads of national trust walks and sights around too. Pod: The pod has been finished to a high standard. There was Christmas lights decorated in the pod which made it feel magical. The pod had everything we needed, we cooked a few meals with the plug in hob with ease. The bed was super comfortable for a good night sleep. Their is a little garden space to sit outside if wanted. The pod was really clean and had everything we needed. Hosts: The hosts were just a text away if we needed anything. On our arrival she popped in to say hello and allowed us to ask questions about the local area. Super friendly and put us at ease. Hosts dogs were beautiful and super friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay it was much needed and the fact we could bring our dog on his first hoilday with ease made it even more special. Already recommended the pod to our family and friends and would happily stay again. Thank you :)

The pod is rural and so tranquil.

It had everything we needed and more. The owners are so friendly and helpful making the stay even better. The pod is set in a beautiful, very well maintained garden accessed by a few steps. Within a short walk you can visit Halton Quay and Cotehele House is a short drive away.

The Chapel pod was so gorgeous and cosy inside and the views of surrounding scenery so beautiful that it was a delight to come back to.

We had an amazing time in the pod, it was cosy and had everything we needed.

The hosts were lovely and we intend to come back later in the year!

Great place to stay.

Clean, warm and comfortable. Lots to do in the area. We did lots of really lovely walks. Bodmin moor and Dartmoor nor far. Hosts very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Cream Tea on arrival was a nice gesture too and Jean the Pod owner was very friendly and helpful.

Would be nice if the immediate area outside of the pod was fenced off for the dog staying.

We had the most enjoyable week in ChapelPod (which we renamed HobbitPod for our stay as it reminded us of the houses in the films).

Jean, Willis and their daughter were lovely and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The cream tea and the apple juice left for us was very kind of them and much appreciated. The Pod was warm and comfortable and very well equipped which helped make up for the wet weather we had for most of the week. We managed to visit all the local towns and had some enjoyable walks in between showers, with our dog Benny. We would definitely recommend a stay here as it was peaceful and the variety of birds we watched from the kitchen window was amazing. All in all a little gem of a place.

We found the accommodation really nice and warm, even though the weather conditions were poor during our stay.

For a short stay it was great and for our purpose it was ideal. The only negative was that the local power company turned the electricity off for almost a whole day (1 of our 2 days) which was inconvenient. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider booking again the next time we need to visit the area.

Brilliant holiday in beautiful setting and despite having terrible weather we were still able to get out and about or just relax in the comfort of the pod.
