Fantastic accommodation, very clean and modern and much larger than expected, from looking at the photos.
The kitchen is very well equipped, bathrooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The decked area is brilliant with far reaching views. Great location, only 10 minutes from Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. Overall I would definitely recommend The Bay.
We had a lovely week in Ilfracombe Devon, exploring the local area and beyond by car.
The local beaches were great for surfing and the wonderful coastal path was a joy to walk. The lodge was okay, it was spacious and comfortable and we were able to cook different meals with the facilities provided. We found the intermittent WiFi frustrating and were particularly disappointed there was no recycling facilities, especially when the farm and lodges down the lane provide it. The television was unwatchable as the signal was poor. Overall we had a lovely stay but can only give 4 out of 5 stars for the reasons mentioned.
An excellent lodge in a lovely location.
Nice to find a pet free property, there are not enough of them. We loved the peace and quiet and the view and the lodge was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
