Cove Lodge

This was the second year in a row we stayed in Cove Lodge.

It is a beautiful spot with beautiful sunset views. Everything you need is within a few minutes drive. Perfectly situated between Ilfracombe and the gorgeous beach at Woolacombe. We will definitely be back again!

Superb property with everything we could have needed.

Very clean on arrival, with good quality bed linen and towels. Beautiful location off the beaten track but down narrow lanes so not for nervous drivers who cannot reverse!! Good outdoor space for children to play We would definitely consider returning to this property in the future.

Our first impressions on entering Cove Lodge were very good.

Well presented, clean and comfortable. The weather was very hot and the lack of any shade was uncomfortable as the lodge became.e dangerously overheated. Maybe a parasol would have helped. Anti slip mats in the shower and bath would be safer. We went out and bought our own. A hook on the back of the bathroom doors would be helpful. Our experience was very good but a few tweeks would be good.

Lovely lodge.

Clean and conveniently located. Staying during warmer weather, it would have been useful to be able to open the sky lights, and a broken patio door which didn't open was inconvenient. Also, at this price point, and bearing in mind this was a relatively new build, we'd expect aircon (although the lack of this was clear in the advertisement). Overall, a great stay. Thank you.

We noted a couple of things we had difficulty with and hope the owners have reacted to these . Excellent property in quiet surroundings .

Lovely lodge, comfy and great location.

However, rather difficult to find. BEWARE of the massive “tractors” and trailers working from a development at the bay. On the very narrow lanes, they are real hazard.

Our stay at Cove Lodge was fine,Nice and comfy and peaceful.

Weather is the only item you can't control.So you enjoy whatever you can do in Devon.

Very lovely property with everything you need.

Beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious, lounge/kitchen very clean and spacious. Difficult to find even with a small map, would have been nice if someone came over to show us round! I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would return for another holiday.

loved location (field on a farm throgh cattle grid and way off the beaten track) not a noise from traffic or people , loved it but need a car to go anywhere as much further than 1.

3 miles stated . would go back in an instant now i know where everywhere is . could not fault the lodge had everything you could ask for.

This lodge meets all our requirements .

It is very well appointed , modern and in lovely surroundings. We have already booked to come back next year ….. in the Spring.

Cove Lodge was a great place to stay.

Everything there that we needed. Really comfortable and spotlessly clean. In a beautiful position too. So peaceful with lovely views. Would recommend to everyone. We will definitely book again.

Loved our stay in Cove Lodge.

A great location, ideal for getting to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. Fantastic outdoor space for the kids and they loved seeing the sheep in the fields! Relaxing and peaceful in the evenings. The Lodge was modern and extremely clean. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

A perfect location!

So close to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. We really enjoyed our stay and can not fault Cove Lodge! It really was a home from home except with additional beautiful sunsets! 10/10 I would definitely stay again!

Perfect base for visiting woolacombe and croyde beaches.

We also visited Combe Martin dinosaur park and watermouth castle with the kids. Looked forward to going back to the comfort and quietness of the lodge after a busy day. The lodge has everything you need and was as advertised. Thanks for a great mini break and we look forward to visiting in the future.

Excellent location, wonderful views so very peaceful and quiet, bed very comfortable very nice bathrooms, kitchen very clean and well set-out no complaints from us.

Living area very comfortable, possibly some hooks on backs of doors and maybe a parasol for outside decking, we would love to return sometime .Chris & Heidi.

Great shower in en-suite, everything clean and modern. Beds very comfortable. A little gem.

Beautiful lodge excellently decorated to a very hi standard, the town was a bit of a walk away and not doable in the dark because of the dark lanes, but we had a car and mainly used the lodge as a base to explore, it was surrounded by countryside which was lovely, very quiet which was also amazing, I would definitely recommend this place, and would certainly stay here again if I was coming back to this area, a credit to the owners

Pretty much brand new, tastefully and thoughtfully appointed with highest quality furniture and facilities.

Comfortable and convenient and in a pretty, quiet, secluded venue, the whole package encouraged peaceful relaxation but surrounded by country walks. Within easy driving reach of Ilfracombe.

We picked a great week dry weather.

Lodge is exceptionally . Would like to stay again. Great walks around from here.

Cove lodge is set in beautiful surroundings .

We had such a relaxing stay . The property is outstanding . Spacious and comfortable . The large windows in the lounge allow the outside to come in . Just out of Ilfracombe and very close to Woolacombe . Various walks locally as well . Would definitely return .

Carefully thought out layout fitted to a high standard. We loved our stay and enjoyed views from the huge decking area.
