Located within Manleigh Park in the coastal village of Combe Martin, Devon, 14 Manleigh Park is a welcoming, dog-friendly lodge ideally positioned for exploring North Devon.

Set on the edge of Exmoor National Park, the property enjoys a tranquil setting with views across the valley towards the village, coastline and surrounding woodland.

Within easy walking distance of Combe Martin’s sandy, dog-friendly beach, perfect for rock pooling, paddling and coastal outings, this charming retreat is well suited to small families, couples and groups travelling with up to two dogs.

Nearby destinations such as Ilfracombe, Croyde and Woolacombe Bay are also within easy reach, making it a great base for a classic seaside break. Step inside to discover a bright open-plan living space designed for relaxing after days spent exploring.

The sitting area, complete with a sofa and armchair, provides a comfortable place to unwind, while the fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed for preparing home-cooked meals.

Gather at the dining table for shared dinners or, when the weather allows, step outside onto the private decking to enjoy meals in the fresh air.

As the evening draws in, freshen up in the family bathroom, which features both a bath and shower to suit your routine, before settling down for the night in either the double or twin bedroom.

Guests can take advantage of the park’s facilities, including a seasonal dog-friendly bar serving chilled bottled beers and a popular pasty-and-a-pint option, alongside a children’s play area.

Those travelling with dogs will appreciate the dedicated exercise field, while dog towels are provided to help keep muddy paws in check after long walks.

From the doorstep, walkers can access the South West Coast Path and take in the dramatic scenery of nearby Hangman Cliffs, England’s highest sea cliffs.

Ilfracombe 5 miles; Woolacombe 12 miles; Barnstaple 13 miles.

At the point where the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty meet, is where you'll find Combe Martin. This small seaside resort, with all of the necessary amenities, is a great attraction to locals and visitors alike. Combe Martin has a very popular beach; the sheltered cove is perfect for rock-pooling and it is a popular paddle boarding bay. The village also boasts its own Wildlife and Dinosaur Park! Combe Martin is home to the historic Earl of Rone festival held in May each year and has an annual carnival in August. This is an ideal base for touring, and discovering the delights of North Devon, with Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple all within easy reach. There are also numerous National Trust properties and gardens waiting to be enjoyed. Surfing at Woolacombe is among the best in the South West, while the South West coastal path passes within a mile.
