Luxury Safari Lodge – Sleeps 4/6 – Deer Park – Dogs Ok is a distinctive safari-style lodge located in Zeal Monachorum, near Bow in Devon, set within a 15-acre park with views overlooking a deer enclosure.

Combining countryside surroundings with a range of indulgent touches, including private jacuzzi baths, a woodburner oven and access to a golf buggy, this lodge is well suited to families, friends or couples travelling together, accommodating up to six guests, with a maximum of four adults.

Step onto the spacious decking, where outdoor living takes centre stage.

Relax on the rattan seating with a morning drink, unwind in the hammocks, or gather around the picnic table while watching deer move across the landscape.

As evening approaches, make use of the two outdoor jacuzzi baths beneath the open sky before spending time around the shared firepit with the neighbouring lodge, creating a welcoming setting to end the day.

Inside, the open-plan living area forms a sociable hub, with two sofas offering a place to relax in front of the TV/DVD after exploring the grounds.

The kitchen is equipped with the essentials for self-catering, including a hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, while the dining table provides space to enjoy meals together.

The lodge offers two king-size bedrooms, each providing a restful place to unwind, alongside two cabin beds for additional guests.

A shower room with shower, basin and WC completes the layout.

With only two lodges on site, guests are able to fully enjoy a nature-focused stay, including the opportunity to watch the deer being fed by the herd manager and learn more about them.

Dogs are welcome and catered for with beds, bowls and other essentials, while a network of local footpaths begins from the park entrance, making it easy to head out on walks directly from the doorstep.

Local amenities such as pubs, shops and everyday facilities can be reached by car or a longer walk.

Nearby Bow offers The Waie Inn, known for its sports facilities, indoor play areas and dining options, while Taw Valley Brewery provides a chance to sample locally brewed drinks.

Okehampton offers access to Dartmoor National Park, with its tors, walking routes and horse riding opportunities, as well as independent shops and heritage attractions.
