We had a fabulous time, everything was perfect and made very welcome, and the goodies on arrival were delicious, five star accommodation and views

What a great lodge to stay in, Location great, views amazing over the countryside & so near Dartmouth.

Site clean & tidy. Lodge was spotless & fully equipped. Great having 2 ensuite King sized rooms for 2 couples. Central living area with Veranda & views were a treat. Owners & family were friendly, helpful & noting was too much trouble. Would come again Thank you for sharing your lodge with us

Excellent lodge, exactly as described and as you see.

Spacious, modern, comfortable and clean and well kept too. The location is perfect - panoramic views, easy to get to local sights and supermarket 3 minutes away. Yet you’d never know as it feels so quiet. Site is spacious and if you have a dog there’s an exercise field. Owners are friendly and very helpful. One of the best places we’ve stayed in a long while.

A very relaxing experience from the moment we arrived.

The lodge was very comfortable with lovely views and contained everything needed, including a little tea/coffee/sugar and milk for the all important first cup after the journey, before going shopping. The folder with emergency contact information/numbers was reassuring, and the inclusion of instruction booklets for the appliances very helpful. A collection of leaflets/booklets of things to do and places to visit was also helpful. The lovely welcome pack of cake, biscuits, jam and cream was a really lovely touch. We had a really enjoyable stay and would love to return. Highly recommended.

Everything about the property was lovely , from the comfortable furnishings to the well equipped kitchen where there was everything you need .

The beds were very comfortable , and there was plenty of wardrobe space . The bathroom was great with a shower that was spacious and worked brilliantly . The property was situated in a lovely position with wonderful views , very restful.

Lovely lush fully equipped lodge,better than expected owners Sue John Abi made us feel really welcomed it was a really nice touch with the welcome pack with the milk cake,scones jam and clotted cream etc etc nothing was a problem.

Lodge was close to supermarkets and Dartmouth harbour was up to 10 minutes away some car parking is card payment or phone app but the park and ride make sure you have £10 in £1 coins as the app took a while to load and you could miss the bus but Dartmouth buses were regular not like other areas well worth the visit and seeing the sunset as this lodge had a lovely scenery view and lovely quiet the caravans wasn’t a problem as they park them down the side further down from lodge.we look forward to coming again but maybe stay longer as we did a week and loved to explore further

Buttercup Lodge is a gem!

Comfortable, we'll equipped, gorgeous views and a lovely atmosphere about it. We watched the summer solstice sun set from the balcony, and would sit there in the evenings, there were hares running along the grass and the wildflower beds are beautiful, I would recommend Buttercup lodge 100%

We really enjoyed our stay at Buttercup lodge especially the beautiful views.

Our family Christmas get away was delightful, this lodge was exceptional.

It felt so inviting and was such a comfortable stay, so spacious inside and well equipped. Owners are very friendly, they make you feel very welcome with hamper on arrival and fresh flowers. The views are amazing just looking out at the countryside, all the space around the lodge is well thought out and really well kept. Also, providing you with an enclosed area for dogs to enjoy themselves is such a bonus. I can’t wait to return again in the summer to make use of the outside patio area. Don’t think anyone will be disappointed when booking this lodge highly recommend.

We loved it from the moment we arrived. It was in an amazing position and was lovely and clean. The site was really well looked after and also had a dog recreation area great for us. The welcome pack was great too and cream tea very welcome. The owners were so helpful. Great base for getting out and about in the area. Furniture and beds very comfortable too and views amazing.

What a super find, this modern well laid out lodge offers the perfect retreat for a South Devon experience.

Stayed at Buttercup Lodge for a week, the lodge is beautiful, lovely welcome pack on arrival.

This was a beautiful property set in idyllic countryside!

There was ample parking. The interior of the lodge was outstanding in cleanliness, and comfort. There is nothing negative to say about ‘Buttercup Lodge’. We will be back!!

Beautiful lodge set in Beautiful surroundings first impressions were how new clean and tidy everything was and the views are outstanding.

Also a lovely welcome a hamper with biscuits scones jam clotted cream and a bottle of wine a very nice touch. Lovely seeing the horses in the fields every morning I can only imagine how lovely it will be on a summers day. Bed was comfy shower hot and walk in wardrobe with full length mirror was great. Kitchen was well stock with pots and pans and every utensil you would need. Down side was no coasters to put cups or glasses on I felt bad putting them straight on the coffee table also maybe some cushions on the settee because this was a little uncomfortable on your back the seat area is so wide , but these are minor things. We all had a fantastic time staying at the lodge and would certainly visit again.
