What guests are saying
Location of the cottage is great and they are private.
Facilities are good but upstairs bathroom door stiff and creaky, as is the landing - difficult to sleep undisturbed. Bathroom lighting is also poor (dead battery-powered mirror lights without easy access) but kitchen is well equipped. The interior was generally very clean but the entrance outside was covered in cobwebs when we arrived, and there were spiders in the upstairs 2nd bedroom. Outdoor seating areas were good, as was the parking, which accommodated our 3 vehicles.
The property was exactly as described in the online booking.
We enjoyed our stay and our host Julie was attentive when we had a problem with a shire which was resolved quickly. Would definitely visit again
Lovely quiet location, beds comfortable however sofa well used and uncomfortable.
Nice lodge but in need of tlc and updating. Windows very dirty and patio in need of weeding. Wet room water doesn't drain fully. Biggest disappointment was the decking, too treacherous for elderly guests to enjoy, sticking up, unstable everywhere.
