What guests are saying
This was our second stay in four months.
Had an extremely relaxing lovely break. The lodges are beautiful and well maintained. The only thing was no instructions for the oven but looked it up and all was fine. No dvds as listed and found a manual for a Bluetooth speaker that wasn't there. Overall that's nothing though compared to the view the name Horizon View is definitely not wrong! The hot tub was very well maintained and it was wonderful to sit in and look out across the fields. Secluded, quiet and beautiful place. Still within travelling distance of some great places to go.
Excellent accommodation with beautiful view from the patio.
The staff were amazing especially when I lost a ring and they searched high and low, they checked the hot tub filters and couldn’t have done more. Sadly didn’t find my ring.
We booked Horizon View as we wanted a simple holiday e.
g. just drive up and relax. The accommodation was exactly as described, and the view was very scenic. The placement of the lodges meant you had ample space to relax. The hot tub was another great addition and something we used more than we thought we would (June heatwave). Being centrally located meant a lot of attractions were within easy reach. We visited both Cotehele House and Llanhydrock House. Other places included Looe and Fowey, the short trip on the car ferry only adding to the fun.

Please note that the ponds and surrounding reed beds form an important natural habitat for local wildlife. During the bird nesting season, typically between March and September, the reeds may appear more established than shown in some website photographs. In line with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, vegetation management may be restricted during this period to help protect nesting birds and other wildlife. We appreciate your understanding as we work to preserve the natural environment and biodiversity of the site for both wildlife and guests to enjoy.
