We really enjoyed our stay staff were amazing can’t complain about anything about our stay.

Have stayed in this lodge before and was fine but this time cleanliness and hot tub maintenance not good .

Needs a bit more attention to spruce it up . Toilet seats did not fit toilet properly . Cupboards full of too much crockery glasses mugs (16) plates ect so not much room for food we took with us . Would not stay in this lodge again although the surroundings beautiful .

Spotless accommodation, lovely views, could not ask for more.

Once again fantastic stay, Quiet, relaxing,clean ,great place.

Wow what a fabulous holiday lodge - so peaceful with the most amazing views - everything catered for - dog friendly too.

Only a short drive away from many lovely places; Looe, Golitha Falls, Siblyback Lake for nice 5K dog walk with great cafe, The Jamaica Inn worth a visit too - great Sunday Roast and dog friendly. Loved it here will definitely come again.

Couldn't ask for anything better.

Lovely site and very friendly and helpful staff.

always ready to help with any small problem. Beatiful views and watching the moorhens on the pond was a delight. Lots of thing to see and do nearby and even a short ride away. Must try and get back for a summer visit. Thank you everyone at Southern Halt for our short break.

THE LODGE IS IN A PERFECT POSITION OVERLOOKING A SMALL LAKE, IT'S EXTREMELY QUITE AND PEACEFUL.

THE LODGE ITSELF WAS VERY CLEAN AND TIDY WITH LOT'S OF LIGHT COMING IN THROUGH PATIO DOORS AND WINDOWS. THE HOT-TUB WAS A JOY AS WELL.

Wonderful stay, exceeded our expectations.

Fabulous, clean accommodation with a stunning view and a well equipped kitchen with all that you could wish for. To have the hot tub at the end of a days walking was delightful. Well maintained complex within easy reach of key attractions and sights. Lovely to have the phone call from Charteroak reception on the first day to make sure everything was ok and we had no issues. Would highly recommend the accommodation and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

. and the view stunning over the lake Hot tub , star gazing and sunset gorgeous So many places to visit Polperro and Looe shirt drive away with loads of lovely beaches Can’t wait to come back , really did not want to leave Can’t recommend enough

Absolutely wonderful lodge which was spotlessly clean & had everything you could ever need provided.

The views across the lake & fields were lovely when the sun came up in the mornings and we were visited regularly by the ducks! Good communication/customer service from reception on site. Really enjoyed our stay, we will definitely return.

Lovely property, couldn't ask for more very comfy bed and great fixtures and fittings throughout, could potentially provide a windbreaker for hottuub (very minor) also shame that there was no walks straight from site apart from that its bloody awesome place.

Highly recommend. The grounds man was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about local area 10/10

This lodge was perfect for us.

Clean, spacious and had everything we could wish for. It is a good base to travel around the different areas of Cornwall, we spent lots of hours walking so enjoyed a soak in the hot tub each evening.

This has been a brilliant week with everything we could have wished for The lovely quiet atmosphere and views was better than we had hoped for let alone the luxury of a hot tub We are about to book another week which says it all Thanks

We stayed in a different lodge last year and had a wonderful break - didn't think it could be bettered, but the views from this lodge were exceptional, particularly with the pond right in front. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you

This is such a lovely little lodge on a private site from the moment we got there to when we left we was hoping to win big on the lottery to buy one, it was so quite and peaceful fantastic place just to relax and just right for the days out to the little fishing villages we are looking forward to next year already Jason Lisa and Bella the

Lovely lodge with everything we needed.

Mattress was not the most comfortable but you can't cater for everyone's preference. Would have been good to have some instructions for the washer / dryer as we were there for 2 weeks and could not work out how to use the dry only function. Instructions in pack were for the wrong machine!

One of the nicest lodges we have ever rented.

The view of the little lake and country side are beautiful. The lodge facilities are everything and more then expected. Hot tub wonderful. We will definitely be back with our little dog.

We were really impressed with the property.

It had everything we needed and more. A lovely area and plenty of information leaflets left for us too to help us get to know the area. The only negative was the hot tub. The first day we used it, it was piping hot and the next the settings had been changed. We went to use it in the evening and the temperature had been turned all the way down so was cold when we got in. If we had previously known we would have put it on to heat before getting in.

Lovely lodge couldn’t ask for more.

I visited here the last week of March with my boyfriend and little dog.

The property is amazing! There were reviews that the bed was uncomfortable however, I found it to be lovely amd comfy with soft sheets and luxurious cushions and throw. 12 Faraway fields was everything we could have hoped for. The hot tub was perfectly clean and just perfect for a dip every evening after long walks. The view is just wonderful of the beautiful Country side! We did not want to leave! The property has everything you want and need for a fabulous base or to just stay and relax. We loved it and will return! Annie South Wales x
