14 Horizon View is a striking timber lodge set in a tranquil spot within Southern Halt Park, offering sweeping views over the rugged Bodmin Moor.

Located on the edge of Dobwalls in Cornwall, this lodge features a bright and spacious open-plan living area with floor-to-ceiling windows – an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring.

Inside, you’ll find a sleek kitchen, dining space, two generous sofas, and a TV with Freeview.

The accommodation includes a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and TV, as well as a twin room, making it perfect for families or friends.

Step out onto the wraparound terrace to enjoy an evening tipple or sink into your private hot tub, soaking up the peaceful surroundings.

The nearby village of Dobwalls offers a few local amenities for a gentle wander, or you can take a short drive to the Old Mill Bar and Restaurant at our sister site, Stonerush Lakes, for a meal out.

Ideally located for touring Cornwall, the lodge provides easy access to Bodmin Moor for scenic walks with your four-legged companion.

The popular coastal towns of Looe, Fowey, and Polperro are all within easy reach – perfect for sunny days out.

DOBWALLS

Liskeard 2.6 miles; Looe 8.4 miles.

The rural village of Dobwalls is surrounded by open fields and wooded countryside, and is close to the market town of Liskeard, the slopes of Bodmin Moor and the glorious north and south Cornish coastlines. This is a perfect base for exploring the many delights the region has to offer, with the picturesque fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey and Polperro within 15 miles to the south whilst Padstow and the surfing beach at Polzeath lie a comfortable drive away on the North Coast. Take a trip to Siblyback Lake and enjoy the wonderful sailing, fishing and watersports on offer, or travel a little further and take advantage of the superb walking on Bodmin Moor. The Eden project lies within 15 miles and Plymouth is just a 30 minute drive, or 25 minute train ride from nearby Liskeard station. With the Barbican harbour district, renowned aquarium, and good selection of shops, restaurants and theatres, this is a great holiday base.
