What guests are saying
Absolutely wonderful stay, my only gripes were that the mattresses were not the most comfortable that I have slept on, there was an ugly stain on the main sofa which caught the eye and spoiled the look of the room and the electric charge point was out of action despite my enquiring prior to my stay as to its condition.
I had to liaise with the EV supplier as it is not run by the site itself, that was frustrating as it took two days, but eventually the site management found me one that I could use close to my lodge, that said it did not detract from a very nice stay. Meadow retreat stated a quiet relaxing stay and that is exactly what we got. We would definitely be going back.
Trees around balcony need cutting back stops light & sun Seating area inside not very comfortable 2 big stains on one of the setees
The listing wasn’t clear on whether there was a car charger or not.
We have an electric car and thought great there’s a charger in the photos, however on arrival it didn’t work so this would be a great thing to get fixed and make clear on the listings that there is one. Luckily the staff sent us to a lodge that was empty to use that charger. However everything else was great! The lodge is lovely and comfortable! The wifi wasn’t great on main tv but I’m sure that’s because of the area it is in so we used our personal hotspot. I would definitely recommend this stay, it is one of the most reasonable prices and nicest places I have stayed in Cornwall. The lodge itself feels lovely and clean and any issues we had were sorted fast.
