Description

3 Meadow Retreat is a welcoming wooden-clad single-storey lodge positioned on the outskirts of Dobwalls near Looe, Polperro and Fowey on the South Cornish coast.

Designed for families and friends seeking hot tub relaxation with EV charging convenience, open-plan living with natural light and easy access to both coast and countryside, it features enclosed decking, flexible bedroom accommodation and peaceful surroundings.

Let the sound of gravel mark your arrival, and unlock the gate of the decking to this charming lodge.

Upon entering, you will find the heart of the home, the open-plan living space, home to a contemporary kitchen with calming blue hues, a neat dining area and a pleasant sitting area.

The kitchen is equipped with amenities to make you feel at home, with a gas hob allowing you to sizzle and simmer, serving straight to the breakfast bar for quick meals or to the dining table, comfortably seating four for larger evening gatherings.

After plates have been cleared, gather in the stylish sitting area and pick a sofa, then tune into your favourite shows.

This space is bright and welcoming, with a charming wooden beam and Velux window flooding it with natural light.

As the day draws to a close, take your pick from a delightful twin room or a double room with an en-suite shower and mounted TV.

Both rooms feature rustic wooden headboards and access to the bathroom with a bath to soak in, finished with fluffy towels and thoughtful spa touches.

In the morning, enjoy a brew on the enclosed decking area whilst taking in the surrounding greenery.

You can dine alfresco in the afternoon, or as evening arrives, slip into the hot tub as the sun sets and stars sparkle above.

Wrap yourself in a soft boutique robe and sink into the warmth, letting the night air complete your escape.

Golitha Falls rewards walkers with cascading water and ancient oak woodland.

Bodmin Jail Attraction offers dark history and optional paranormal tours for the brave.

Hangloose Adventure delivers adrenaline-fuelled thrills through giant swings and zip wire crossings.

For a bite to eat, the Old Mill Bar and Restaurant at nearby Stonerush Lakes serves wood-fired pizzas and handcrafted cocktails in an ambient lakeside setting.

An attentive onsite team is available with local recommendations.

A brilliant place to stay whilst in Cornwall.

A central location to travel to lots of different places. A beautiful clean lodge, comfy beds, very modern and elegant. Worth noting there is an integrated dishwasher but no washing machine so go prepared. Plenty of crockery and cutlery, brilliant quality kitchenware. Lodge park location is very quiet and relaxing. Sykes are easy to book with and all communication was great. Will definitely use again.

It was so peaceful, the grounds are beautiful and the accommodation was spotless, well maintained and everything we needed there. The lodge was very spacious and modern with the bonus of a hot tub which was clean and very hot. We would highly recommend Meadow retreat and would love to come back in the future.

Please note that the ponds and surrounding reed beds form an important natural habitat for local wildlife. During the bird nesting season, typically between March and September, the reeds may appear more established than shown in some website photographs. In line with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, vegetation management may be restricted during this period to help protect nesting birds and other wildlife. We appreciate your understanding as we work to preserve the natural environment and biodiversity of the site for both wildlife and guests to enjoy.
