What guests are saying
The place just felt rundown.
Panels on the side of the cabin were detached. Sofa was filthy. Hair in the sink from previous person. It was 'nice enough' but really missed that special feel. We took our 10 month old with us. Very little space for a travel cot which ended up in the living room. So then we were 'relegated' to the bedroom. Cabin was hot during the day and cold during the night. Bed was so uncomfy we actually came home a day early.
Stayed here for a long weekend and it was amazing!
The lodge was better than the photos & so private, the most perfect place to stay!!
I booked this lodge as a surprise for my partner for his birthday.
It was perfect. Everything as it looks on the pictures. I spoke with Laura a few times who was just lovely, I wanted a few things set up as a little extra surprise and she was able to sort this and it was there all lovely and done when we arrived a lovely touch, bit pricey on top of what you pay, but for an occasion you can’t complain! Not an awful lot around, but a Morrisons for shopping food a 6 min drive, Newquay and Plymouth are about 40 min drive, but Plymouth is 25 on the train. Looe about 20 minutes away, which is a lovely little town! It’s quite a private lodge, own little garden and don’t see or hear much of anyone else! All round lovely place for a couple. Highly recommend.
