4 Meadow Retreat is a stunningly-presented holiday lodge positioned just outside Dobwalls, near the coast at Looe and Polperro, Cornwall.
Designed for families and groups seeking moorland adventure with hot tub relaxation, an open-plan hub and outdoor terrace living, it features a sunken hot tub on the terrace, spacious open-plan accommodation, and direct access to Bodmin Moors.
Step into the spacious and sleek open-plan living space with a fully-kitted kitchen where you'll whip up feasts while your loved ones either lounge on plush sofas in front of the Smart TV or enjoy card games around the dining table.
Tuck into your meals outside on the terrace when the weather allows, then watch the kids run and play on the communal lawn area.

The property is very well presented.
Everything was reasonably clean and plenty of supplies in terms of glasses, plates, cutlery etc. with good quality smart TVs - I would recommend to anyone interested in staying. However it would be prudent to note that you feel in quite close proximity to your neighbours. This issue becomes further highlighted when the hot tub for this lodge is not embedded into to decking like others - its just placed freely on top of the decking, out front instead. The glass on the surrounding barrier is frosted but feels redundant when you are essentially climbing higher than the fence to climb in; privacy feels extremely lacking. I was shocked to see that we were provided with x4 teabags, coffee/milk sachets and ONE singular dishwasher tablet between 8 adults for 3 nights!!! I would expect these to be provided as a courtesy especially give the remote location of the property. Furthermore the Wifi was extremely intermittent so you couldn't really make use of the TV which was disappointing.

Our family got together at 4 Meadow Retreat and we had a fantastic week!
The accommodation was spacious enough for 7 adults and a baby. It was very clean and the hot tub was so relaxing after a busy day out exploring Cornwall. The entrance gate wasn't closing and a chair was broken on arrival and repairs were made on the same day as I reported them, which was much appreciated. It is a lovely quiet holiday park and very pretty with trees and a pond opposite the lodge. Our granddaughter loved watching the moor hens every morning. We will return again in the near future.
