Description

6 Southern Place is an elegant one-bedroom lodge set within tranquil Cornish countryside near Looe, Polperro and Fowey on the South Cornish coast.

Tailored for couples seeking a romantic escape, it features a private hot tub, a sheltered setting where you won't be overlooked, and secluded decking space ideal for peaceful moments together.

The moment you arrive, the pace of everyday life seems to drift away.

Inside, the open-plan living space balances contemporary style with comfort.

Generous seating invites you to unwind, whilst a well-appointed kitchen with quality appliances makes cooking at your own pace a pleasure.

The double bedroom is a restful sanctuary, dressed in soft furnishings and quality linens, with doors that open directly onto the decking.

It's perfect for stepping out to breathe in the morning air or watch the light fade in the evening.

The en-suite bathroom provides a spa-like retreat after days exploring, finished with fluffy towels and thoughtful touches.

Outside, your private decking becomes an extension of your haven.

The hot tub offers an evening ritual of warmth and starlight.

Wrap yourself in a boutique robe and let the peaceful surroundings work their restorative magic.

From your doorstep, South Cornwall unfolds with endless possibilities.

The coast is moments away.

Looe's bustling harbour and beaches, Polperro's narrow cobbled streets, and Fowey's independent cafés and galleries all reward leisurely exploration.

Inland, Bodmin Moor's windswept beauty offers striking contrast, with walking trails threading through woodland and open moorland.

When you fancy dining out, the Old Mill Bar and Restaurant at Stonerush Lakes is a short drive, with wood-fired pizzas and handcrafted cocktails with waterside views.

An attentive onsite team is on hand throughout your stay, and gentle walking paths begin directly from the lodge.

At 6 Southern Place, you'll find everything needed for a deeply restorative break, seclusion, comfort, and the best of Cornwall's character within easy reach.

We stayed in 6 Southern Place.

The site itself is lovely and peaceful with lots of wild birds and bunnies around, and reasonably well situated for visiting Looe, we also went further afield such as Padstow, St Michael’s Mount and Lost Gardens of Heligan. It’s easy to get onto the A30 which gets you anywhere you need in Cornwall. The facilities were nice, with a lovely decking to sit out in the sun for breakfast, a whirlpool bath and a hot tub. There were a couple of details that let it down - broken blinds, missing slats on the sides of the decking, and the cover to the hot tub was damaged. Three of the four lights over the hot tub didn’t work when we arrived but the management team were responsive and repaired these after we got in touch. These details generally didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay but held me back from giving 5 stars. The value for money was reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back to the site but potentially to a different lodge next time - we booked quite last minute so choices were more limited.

Amazing lodge, very spacious for just the two of us and exceptionally clean.

Little maintenance jobs could do we looking at around the lodge but overall very good standard of accommodation, plus the jets in the hot tub not all working. Overall a very very relaxing chilled out stay in a very quiet park . Thanks to Sally on guest relations on site , amazing customer service !

Please note that the ponds and surrounding reed beds form an important natural habitat for local wildlife.
