Cuckoo's Nest

Truly wonderful.

I stayed here for a week to get away from it all and it gives you that perfectly. Situated in a private location on a Family Farm. The owners are lovely and left snacks, homemade scones and even Cider as a welcome which were all delicious. Waking up to the rolling green hills outside the window ensures a relaxing recharge. Short drive to any of the local seaside towns great for walks. If its in your thoughts just book the Cuckoo's Nest you will not be disappointed. Thank you!

This was a perfect place for a quiet break, the hut was fantastic and beautifully done and the owners were lovely and had thought of every little detail.

It was cosy, comfy and spotless and had a lovely shower. The setting was private and peaceful and the location was ideal for exploring around the coastline. I really enjoyed sitting in bed with a coffee in the morning with the sun streaming in, watching the sheep and sitting outside at dusk listening to the owls and watching the stars. Really lovely and I would love to return.

Had a fabulous stay at the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Very comfortable bed, good shower and the accommodation had everything we needed. We loved the area and the amazing view when sat out on the patio area. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We would love to return if we are ever in the area again.

A fantastic little Shepherds Hut - it's got everything you need, comfy bed, good shower, well equipped and with a great outlook.

The location is peaceful, with only the sound of cows, sheep and birds! With friendly owners, what more did we need. Thank you.

This was an ideal place for me.

I stayed here 4 days and absolutely loved it. The hut was clean and cosy providing everything that I needed. It was so peaceful and quiet. I heard nothing apart from the odd sheep and birds outside. I stayed for 4 nights and there were scones, cream, jam and tea/coffee making facilities also provided. If you want some peace and solitude as I did I think that you will enjoy staying here.

We had a lovely stay over the may bank holiday.

The shepherds hut was fantastic, with beautiful views across the fields. Many thanks to David for showing us around and giving us advice on where to eat locally. We also enjoyed the cream tea that was found upon arrival. We will certainly be returning. Sue & Dave
